The hotel is lovely and conveniently located just 30 minutes from Palermo Airport. My room was spacious and cleaned daily, with fresh towels provided each morning. The staff were exceptionally friendly, with a special shout out to Marco, who was always smiling and incredibly helpful. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a variety of fresh pastries and plenty of options. The hotel provides a convenient shuttle service to the nearest beach, which is perfect for families with children. The pool is a good size, and the outdoor playground with a trampoline is a nice touch.

Unfortunately, the pool had an issue with pigeons frequently visiting and leaving droppings throughout the day, which made it less enjoyable by the afternoon. Additionally, while the hotel provides towels at the beginning of the stay, they charge £2 per towel if you want to get them washed and replaced. After a week, the towels weren’t smelling great, so I would recommend a different approach to ensure hygiene. The playroom, though a nice idea, lacked fans, making it unbearable in the summer heat. The pool bar also had limited options, as many of the ice creams listed were unavailable, and there were no fresh fruit options, which would have been great for families.

From our arrival to the departure, as we were there for a week, the hotel was wonderful. ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful and all of them spoke very good English. The whole hotel was beautiful, it was kept spotless everyday. The pool was great. The location of the hotel was great too. ALL the facilities at the hotel were just wonderful. The choice at breakfast time was great too and the coffee was perfect. Overall it was PERFECT, and would rate it at 10 out of 10. Would highly recommend this hotel, and we are going back again in October.

Great place to stay. Had a great window view to the pool , sea and mountains in a distance. Everything you need is in the room. Good breakie and superb pool zone with sun lounges , jacuzzi and great sea view from 2nd floor .

Just for those who will be there for the first time , its on the sea front but not on the beach. But ! They have free transfer to it which is amazing.

The staff at this hotel are amazing from the moment you enter the hotel. Isabelle at the front desk was so kind, genuine and very helpful. The pool is amazing and Leo at the pool restaurant played awesome varied music serving food and beverages with kindness and humor. The breakfast is wonderful and begins the day perfectly. The shuttle to the beach is fabulous and Guisseppe, the driver of the cart was very hospitable. We loved this hotel and would definitely book here again. The taxi service to and from the airport arranged by the hotel was easy and they were professional drivers.

This is a very pleasant hotel sitting midway between the best beaches and the town centre. About 15 minute walk downhill to beach (free shuttle bus available) and likewise to the harbour or uphill to the town centre. Plenty of local restaurants to choose from. We had a lovely room with a small balcony and sea view. The staff were polite, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was on a par with most Italian hotels but could get a bit busy. The pool area is very pleasant and at busy times there is a large upper veranda with beds and comfy seating.

Nothing really. Parking can be a bit hit or miss and it would be nice to have more hot food available for breakfast.

Really relaxed vibes and decent location for walking into town or the beach (10 min walk to each). The option to hire e-bikes is good as the roads in town are busy but there is plenty of quieter roads that you can cycle on and have some great views. Breakfast had a good selection, however there didn’t seem to be actual breakfast items a lot of the time (more like cakes, donuts and salami). But there was still stuff like cereal, toast and scrambled eggs everyday as you’d expect. Pool bar food was cooked really well and had a good selection of food to choose from. Room was cleaned by the maids every day and the hotel itself was nice and clean. Plenty of sun loungers for everyone and space at the pool bar to sit and eat.

Location is right next to quite a busy road which is sometimes annoying during the day if you want to have a nap with the window open. Not too much of an issue tho as the room had air con and the road wasn’t very busy at night. We seemed to have an extra charge under ‘pool bar’ when we paid on check out. I only noticed when reading the receipt while on our transfer home. Not sure why this charge was added and why we weren’t made aware of it and/or had the charge explained to us as it just seems a bit strange as you pay for the food at the pool bar as and when you order it.

We loved everything from the time we booked until the time we left. The staff really make this place, they are outstanding all of them, to name a few Marco, Daniela and Mary in reception, Katarina in housekeeping, Giuseppe who runs the golf cart & Leon in the pool bar. Our room was spacious, spotless and had a fab seaview!! The breakfast buffet is absolutely outstanding!

That the restaurant didn't do dinner in the evening & the close proximity of our room to the lift made it quite noisy at times.

Everything about Hotel Punta Nord Est is so much more than a 3* Hotel. The location was ideal for us, just a 10 minute walk into the town of Castellamare del Golfo. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was a good size and the bed sheets and pillowcases were changed frequently. The towels were changed daily. The range of breakfast provided was ample and of high quality. The swimming pool and pool bar were great, immaculately kept and staffed by friendly, efficient personnel. The Hotel Receptionists were just magnificent and when my husband was taken ill (thankfully, not seriously) and had to go to hospital, they organised taxis and lunch for us on our return. This Hotel is a gem!

The Reception area looks a little tired and could do with a furniture refurbishment. It would also have been nice to have had a barman on duty during the evenings.

Perfectly situated hotel, only 10 minutes walk outside of Castellammare which is a hive of activity. Lots of places to eat, drink, shop, hire boats and so on. Hotel is really nice and better than 3 star I would say, not many 'frills' in the room but a great size (we booked sea view) and so clean, cleaned every day. Air con was wonderful also as very hot in August Mini fridge in the room was a good addition for keeping water cold. Also very refreshing to see that the items inside you could purchase were not a ridiculous inflated cost but the same price as what you would buy from the pool bar. Pool area was ideal for couples and families. The pool bar was great, we had lunch there a couple of times which was delicious and so reasonably priced Hotel staff are friendly and helpful Breakfast had everything! So much lovely fresh fruit and pastries/cakes. Noticed how hard the staff worked to keep things topped up and the room clean and tidy

As we had a sea view room it was looking out onto the main road, quite noisy with traffic when the door was open but once closed we didn't hear a thing and wouldn't disturb sleep. Worth is for the view and sunset/sunrise!
