This was the ideal spot to base our time in the Vesuvius-Amalfi Coast area. Away from the busloads of tourists, but an easy (and ridiculously low-cost) train ride North to Pompeii and the other archeological sites, and South to Sorrento. From Castellammare you can take a ferry directly to the Amalfi Coast. Our B&B was situated right across from the harbor, away from the larger hotels and restaurants, but in easy strolling distance to the Lungomare, where the entire city gathers and promenades on Saturday and Sunday evenings. We were hosted by our absolutely lovely caretaker Valentina, who couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We were the only guests our first three nights, and she showered us with kindness and all the assistance we asked for. (And some we didn't think to ask for! Like a heated rack for drying our clothes.) Our fully modern room was large, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and filling, with an ample variety of meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bread, sweets and juices. And Valentina makes an A+ cappuccino. We were so happy there, we added another night to our stay. Did I mention Valentina? She's the best!

While we were not bothered, access to the B&B--on the 2nd floor of a multi-tenant building--is not seamless. Due to a miscommunication on my part, owner Giulia was not there to meet us. She sent us detailed instructions on how to access our keys and the elevator-access fob from a lockbox in the building courtyard. Getting everything to sync up the first time was a bit of a challenge for us due to unfamiliarity, but we figured it out well enough. However, travelers who are not comfortable with the prospect of a self-service check-in approach may find the DIY a bit less accommodating.

The atmosphere was great. Valentina was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was fresh and you can choose between plenty of options including local. The staff can help you with describing if you’re not familliar with something. They also make you a coffee. Location is perfect. Just in the city center, and a short walk from train station. With the train, everything is near by. It also has a ferry stop just 2 minutes from the hotel by foot. And the room is clean and spacious. The bed is comfortable and they have room cleaning service you can opt for. Here, you’ll have everything you need for a perfect vacation and relaxation.

Can’t remember a thing

We were visiting the area to see Pompeii and Sorrento. The location close to the Castellamare di Stabia Circumvesuviana was why we chose this place. The B&B is walking distance to the railway station and nearby lots of neat ice cream stalls and good restaurants on the way. The B&B is very clean and comfortable. One of the best places we stayed on our trip to Italy! For the price we paid, we had an awesome experience here and highly recommend it.

The B&B was somewhat difficult to find as it is in a shared-use building with other tenants. The common area and elevator are not super clean, but don't let that disuade you from staying here. The B&B inside is immaculate and well taken care of.

I liked almost everything about the property, starting from the check in, powdery aroma while entering the place and the nice decorated room. We choose the place for one night stay close to Amalfi coast, but meantime cozy and economic. The host was so nice to upgrade our room to a suite, as per availability ☺️. The room was sparkling clean, with sea view and more than spacious for 2. Even had an iron as facility. Breakfast was served in the common area, giving a nice home feeling. Valentina, the hosting girl, was so nice to accompany us during the breakfast and have sweet conversation.

If you want to visit the Amalfi coast, take in consideration that the property is at least one hour away. Also, the quantity shampoos can be improved 🙂

We were looking for somewhere slightly less touristy after Positano and Amalfi and hence chose Castelmare. Given we were staying for three days we wanted a bit of luxury and it did not disappoint. Perfect sized large room and super comfortable bed, great bathroom and view of the harbour from a small balcony. Amazing sunsets as well! Above all it was the breakfast and all day coffee and pastries which we loved and the care and attention of Valentina and Giulia who were brilliant. It is seven minutes from the station and two minutes from the harbour so you can go anywhere on the coast or back to Pompeii and Erculaneo both of which we did. Beaches within walking distance as well.

Property is as per the description. The hosts are very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Overall a great place to stay. The property is within a shared building which is safe and secure, it’s close to the port and around 7 mins walk to the train station. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend.

The air con in our room wasn’t great. We arrived on a day when it had been 28 degrees and the air con was unable to cool the room.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable for taking trips to the Amalfi Coast or Capri, with the flat being right next to the ferry port. The rooms are clean and modern, providing a comfortable and stylish environment for our stay. The hosts, Giulia and Valentina, were incredibly nice and accommodating, making our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to explore the beautiful surrounding areas!

What can I say, we really loved our stay here. My husband and I are travelling Europe on our delayed honeymoon. Visiting Amalfi Coast, Positano and Sorrento was on our list of places to go. Accomodation isn’t cheap in Southern Italy, particularly along the coast. HSuites Luxury B&B was great value for money and in a great location with public transport options to visit all the places we wanted to see. The apartment is very spacious and beautifully designed. Breakfast was amazing with a variety of options to suit anyone. We had Valentina look after us during our stay and she made us feel extremely welcome. She kindly surprised us with a little bottle of Bellini wine and also provided us with a heated clothes drying rack since it rained during our stay, which was very thoughtful!! Valentina provided lots of good advice on places to eat and visit. We didn’t meet the owner Guilia, but we spoke to her through WhatsApp and her communication was fantastic. She kindly posted an item for us that we left behind which we were very thankful for. In summary: If you are looking for a beautiful spacious apartment which is affordable, has a great breakfast, amazing staff and easy access to all the places along the coast, then you must stay here!

There is nothing we didn’t like! We had a beautiful view at the front of the property as our room was upgraded. If you are a light sleeper, I was suggest a room a the back.

The B&B is located in a very comfortable place to travel around by public transport. The port with the ferries is right opposite and the circumvesuviana train stop and funicular station are 5 min walk away. The area is very safe and nice, there is a nice promenade with lots of restaurants and bars along the sea. B&B is very modern and very clean. Beds and pillows are really comfortable. Valentina and Guilia are very helpful and very professional. If we are back to this area we definitely will stay there again.

Nothing, everything was as listed in booking.com. We enjoyed our stay in this B&B.

Everything about this place was excellent. It's very centrally located, just a short walk to the station and cable car, very close to great restaurants, and right by the sea. Really outstanding accommodation in every respect: big, spacious room, super comfortable bed, immaculate, great breakfast and very good communication. Delightful staff. Nothing to criticise - just superb.
