Great family run property and really nice, they were always very helpful and the son spoke great English, even helped my son learn some Italian! Decent breakfast in the morning, nothing fancy but got the job done. No frills but clean and well maintained, older property.

Very dated, could use an update but it is what it is. Old building and town and probably cost prohibitive for them to invest in it as much as would be needed. But it does the job and staff almost entirely made up for this.

Beautiful location across from the beach, wonderful helpful staff and a very welcoming French owner who greeted us like old friends in several languages! Very nearby was a beach lido and lunchtime restaurant with just the best salads and who's lovely staff invited us all to taste yesterday's pressed olive oil. Next door the Perriot restaurant and bar was an easy find for dinner and well worth the five steps to reach it. The view from the terrace and beach up to the Selinunte Archeological Park and temple of Hera was an unexpected gift!

Not a lot - the beds were a bit bouncy so restless sleep caused some cursing! And the wonderful terrace was not exclusive and some other guests spread out into "our" area to smoke but politely moved when we came out.

So much to love about Hotel Miramare Garzia. The location is excellent...easy to find, it was easy to park right across the street, the beach is right below, and there are a bunch of restaurants all around. The staff was fantastic, so helpful, and accommodating....I was upgraded to a sea view ( do book a sea view!) and it was great!... view of the sea and the beach and the side view of the archeological site. The hotel is older, but super clean. There is a small bar and a spacious breakfast room. Everyone was so nice...I hope to return to such a nice place.

The hotel is ideally situated (truly within walking distance) for a visit to Selinunte Archaeological Park. A beautifully located hotel which sits right on the water, providing a welcome sea breeze and sounds of the waves both day and night. The hotel staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful.

The hotel furnishings were rather worn, but things were clean.

We loved this place after experiencing a less than satisfactory B & B and so a welcoming host and staff on arrival was very much appreciated. Whist the room was a little tired it met all our needs. Breakfast was simple but satisfying - would definitely recommend a stay for anyone visiting Selinunte.

This charming little hotel from yesteryear is just perfect. The location in front of the beach is spectacular. The very large balcony with a view into forever is marvelous. The rooms are simple but nice and large, including the bathroom. A cloths drying rack was available for us on the balcony which is exactly what you need at the beach! The breakfast was served with love and our hostess made sure everyone was happy.

The hotel was located on the beachfront and was only a short distance from the Selinunte Archeological Park. Our room was very quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was great and plentiful. Although the hotel did not have a dedicated car park, there was plenty free parking in front of the hotel.

Great location by sea. Great views. Ancient sites walkable but probably best to take car. Pierrot restaurant next door also superb.

Breakfast good but could be a bit better if I'm honest. NB Limited parking out front, not always available. Plenty of parking on street above at rear involves bringing case down good steps between hotel and restaurant - quite hard work going up in baking sun.

We had an outstanding 6-night stay at this lovely hotel right by the sea. The view from our room balcony was absolutely amazing, looking straight at sea and the archaeological site. Watching the sunset from there was breathtaking. The rooms were comfortable and got cleaned every day. Despite some comments, the AC worked fine while there was a heatwave with around 37°. The hotel owners and their staff team were very kind and caring. They made us feel at home. We got a spontaneous invitation for lunch by the hotel owner's family which will be remembered as an absolute highlight of our stay in Sicily. Grazie Mille!

The staff were more than friendly, they were welcoming and helpful. For example when our cat, who was on a leash, was reluctant to leave the lobby for a walk outside the proprietress laughed, picked her up and carried her outside. the breakfast was excellent. and the view incredible.
