We chose this place because of the convenient location for us - we arrived to Catania bus station (some steps away) in the evening and took an early airport bus right next to the B&B the other morning (I suggest to take ALIBUS from the stop on the corner of the same building, on the station ring, near kebab place, and not at the train station - this way you save around 20 minutes since the bus makes a big round before coming back to the same roundabout of the station). Since we've been in the area before, we knew what to expect, so no disappointments there. The room was comfy and clean enough.

The place was totally fine for us since we just needed a convenient place to sleep, however, if you are in Catania for tourism and want to book several nights, I suggest you look for something closer to the old town.

Great location and a clean room. No problem with the accommodation itself.

Take note of the city tax payment. It's advertised as included in the price on Booking.com but on arrival we were asked to pay this again in cash.

The location is very close to The Train and Bus station which makes it great for going to and from the airport There is no manned reception so they were in contact via Booking messages and WhatsApp to get an arrival time and insist on a time because of this. This is OK good contact and communication. From street level it's a steel caged entry door. Small sign on the security buzzer button selection for Etna B&B It's a short narrow street limited parking if you come by car or taxi The place is located on the third 3 floor access by a buzzer door system and there is a lift and stairs up the clean communal areas Great by a young man and I was able to leave my bags as I was early... He checked me in and I paid the cash 2 euros tourist tax The room is comfortable with a double bed, small TV hanging space for clothes and table and chairs a small balcony. Which seems to be used for smoking even though it's non smoking. I was aware that some previous guests had smoked as I could smell it in the room which was disappointing As a non smoker this was anooying But this was a one night budget stay Shower was good in a compact room with toiletries and thin towels It is a budget stay and fits the bill for that It was OK for my needs of a budget one night stay and convenient location

The smell of smoke that was lingering in my room from the previous guests. If it's non smoking don't leave ashtrays for smokers There are notes on the walls about the air conditioning.. Which did not work I could not switch it on About leaving the room with the TV air-conditioning switched on

B&B Etna's Tourist is ideally situated about 3 minutes walk from the Stazione Centrale - convenient for trains and the airport bus - great when you're carrying all your luggage. Clean, comfortable and well equipped room with lift service from the ground floor. Landlord and landlady were responsive and helpful.

British tourists will find the exterior appearance of accommodation in Sicily very different to what we consider normal - no obvious hotel sign, only a very small sign on the external wall, sometimes quite shabby exterior appearance when you first arrive. This can make you question your choice of accommodation but then when you get inside the rooms have everything you need or want and perfectly clean and comfortable. You just need to recognise that this is the norm in Sicily. Use Google maps to take you to the address and then look closely non the walls for the accommodation sign.

The appartment is right next to bus station and close to train station so it's a great location. The host was great when our plans changed and we arrived later. The room is big with bed, sofa, desk and closet. The bathroom is spacious. There was a night table on both sides of the bed with power sockets.

The bed was too soft for our tastes. There was refrigerator in the hallway so it would've been great if there was also a microwave and some cutlery. Also the mosquitos are numerous so it would be great if there is mosquito net on the window.

We stayed 3 nights and looking for room near station to travel around the coast. For that purpouse, the accomodation is excellent, a minute to main station and not far for walking to city center. The room had a terrace, although you look in other buildings. Ok for the money. I would reccomend it for travellers who only need a room to stay and travel with buses or trains around the east of Sicily.

They had some improvised ficilities, like small powerless, hairdryer, so I needed 40 min . To dry my long hair, broken mirror on the wall, airconditiong very noisy, not a glass for water and they have a shared fridge, but like I said this is not a hotel, it is a room for short stay, just come late at night from your adventures around the coast, get a shower, sleep, and continue in the morning with quick access to all types of transport

Contrary to their name, the property host no longer provides breakfast. Not a big deal as the price is still a good value. The room is located in a residential secure building with an elevator. The original suite was constructed into four individual bedrooms. The vestibule contains additional room supplies as well as a shared refrigerator. The host is accommodating and the building is well situated. The rooms are very clean.

We did not dislike anything about this property.

Good place to stay for a short period of time or if you need to take a train very early in the morning. Very clean and comfortable.

It would be nice to have a kettle in the common area. The street where it's located is a bit dark, but super close to the main station.

We were pleasantly surprised by this simple budget accommodation: the bed was really comfy, the room and bathroom clean, and the area very quiet and super handy for getting to the train station around the corner. There was even a little balcony to sit out on. The whole experience was simple and efficient.

We have no criticism, apart from the lift and stairwell was a bit dingy.

Very nice room just close to railway station and shuttle bus the airport Nice view to the roof of the down town inclisive cathedral. Although the room is just on rush circke very scilent.¨ Super, ir was mere, than we expected.
