We were totally amazed by the hospitality in this hotel. It is not located in the center, but there are plenty ways for a transport. They gave us a room with a balcony next to the cute garden and the housekeepers were really polite and made our stay perfect.

My first stay at Casa Lollobrigida was for an impetuous weekend trip to Rome for a concert for my teen son. I chose this B&B because of proximity to the airport we'd be flying to from the UK (Ciampino) as well as short walk to the train station (the concert was one stop away at Cappanelle). Our hosts were very helpful and arranged a taxi for us for that late night as the concert ended after 1am. We have now visited again, this time for longer, and with my husband. I knew I liked the B&B and found the access to the train and to the city of Rome very easy. We liked being able to go back to someplace quiet rather than staying in the city, and the trains are very affordable (3 Euro round trip pp to get to Termini).

I can't really think of anything. I suppose I would note, they are up a very short set of stairs, if you aren't able to access stairs that would be difficult.

The villages and hotels near airports can be messy and sad, but this is absolutely not the case of Ciampino and Casa Lollobrigida. This is indeed a bread & breakfast in its original sense, plus you can take the breakfast in your room, how cool is that? Very clean and calm, surprisingly, we even did not hear the air planes in the morning, plus the village is well connected to the airport by the local bus. The rooms are vast and comfortable, and nicely decorated. The personnel is very kind and responsive, Nunzia sorted out the problem I had created on Booking extremely professionally. I feel we could come back!

We took the Ciampino airport bus to the Ciampino train station, and this B&B was a short walk from that stop. The proximity to the train station is what drew us in, as we had a concert to attend that weekend which was accessible by that same train line. The entrance to the B&B is probably the only tricky bit, if you're following Google Maps. You just need to go down what looks like a private drive, and there is an apartment entrance which will have a doorbell for Casa Lollobrigida. The owners are lovely and so helpful. We had never been to Italy and this trip was a last minute decision (to go see my son's favourite DJ, Gabry Ponte, who is Italian!). We literally only know a handful of Italian words but they were very understanding. Breakfast was just the right selection and the coffee was just what I needed. I'm currently looking to go back, bringing my husband as well this time, so that should tell you enough!

I genuinely can't fault this place. I was a bit unsure about checking out because I didn't see any instructions and we were leaving very early, but I just popped the keys on the desk and had my son hold the door while I did so!

Very clean with plenty of towels. Bed comfortable and host Giulio very helpful booking taxi and arranging for my return trip with prompt responses to my request and helpful arrangements for access. Giulio answered very promptly by whatsapp from the first instance and would have responded to any requests for assistance.

I missed breakfast on my first stay because I had to leave early so Giulio provided some things in the room. A second teabag and a small carton of uht milk would have been welcome but overall no complaints. My second stay allowed me to eat breakfast at leisure and there was enough to satisfy my tastes and more if I'd asked for it. Giulio was very attentive.

We chose Casa Lollobrigida due its close proximity to the airport and wasn't an anonymous 'chain' hotel. Small and set in a local neighborhood with a taxi arranged to meet us form our flight, perfect. Walking distance to train station for trips to Rome/Naples and beyond. We only stayed one night, but could have easily stayed longer. If we were on a city break to Rome, we would consider staying here due to its proximity to easy public transport.

The host - Giulio - was so warm and welcoming to us. Everything was clean and inviting - even allowing us to have breakfast at 3 AM as we had a very early flight to catch 😅 There is a wonderful and cheap cafe right over the street, but plenty of excellent, authentic Italian restaurants in walking distance. Easy walk to train station that takes you to Rome city center and the bus is a quick ride to the Ciampino airport.

Everything was fantastic! We stayed there for 6 hours, bit enjoy the facilities and location a lot. The owners was so kind to let us have breakfast early in the morning (as our flight was at 6am). We will definitely be back for a longer stay. Recommend for those, who are travelling from Ciampino airport and also for those, who are planning to visit Rome. Location close to station (5 minutes walk). From the station lots of trains to Rome Termini take about 20 mins for 1.5 euro. Staff were very good and organised a taxi for the airport (10 mins). Room was reasonable size and beds were comfortable. Coffee making facilities and snacks in room. Breakfast very good and we had it on the balcony. Excellent café/pizzeria close by, serving great food. Would stay here for longer when visiting Rome.

The owner communicated very well, informed us about transport connections, eating & and supermarkets nearby. Left us fresh milk. Room very clean, lots of little touches. Lovely continental breakfast. Nice patio garden, quiet area. Airport bus stop 7 mins walk. Train station 7 mins walk. Cafes nearby

Just the door entrance to the apartment lock was a tad confusing, but the owner soon rectified
