I had a great stay at Plaza Rooms Ciampino. The location is very convenient, especially for travelers using Ciampino Airport, as it’s just a short distance away. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all the essentials provided. The check-in process was smooth. The apartment owner was an excellent host—friendly, welcoming, and full of great recommendations for local restaurants. He even suggested useful tips for our stay and went out of his way to arrange a taxi for our early morning New Year’s flight back home.

Just one downside was that the shower may spill water across the floor if not used carefully, leaving the dry area of the bathroom slightly wet.

Our host Cristo was super friendly and very helpful with recommendations of where to eat. We opted for the slightly fancier family run restaurant and it was fantastic. They also offered us a taxi pick up from the airport at 25 Euros which seemed a little expensive. But it is not the minimum Taxi charge from the airport is 25 Euros, even though the Guest House is not far away at all. It would have been much nicer to have somebody meet us and it would have cost the same.

It's not a hotel, more of a Guest House and our taxi driver didn't know where it was. But it was perfect for our overnight stay near the airport.

The location was a short walk to the train station and a brief taxi ride to the airport. We were obviously staying there to catch the plane out but it was a lovely stay and we were made to feel very welcome by the host. He recommended a local restaurant which we really enjoyed and visited for both lunch and dinner. We sat on the small balcony and read a book in the afternoon. I stayed at the hotel before and caught the train direct into Rome, which worked very well for me. Also I found Flying into Ciampino Airport has its benefits because it is a smaller and therefore less crowded experience.

Nothing I did not like. The stay was more than as advertised. It was very good value and friendly visit.

We never experienced such a warm and friendly gesture throughout the years we have been travelling. Amazing service and perfect location, just 7 min walking from Ciampino train station which takes you directly to Rome Center. The room was cleaned every single day, and the towels were replaced with clean ones. Very calm and cute room, with terrace to enjoy the full moon, and the lovely fresh air. We really appreciated the welcomes and will will definitely come back if we visit Roma again

Excellent location in relation both to the Ciampino airport as well as the Rome center. Neighborhood without those huge Rome center crowds, can find places to eat, shop for food (because the breakfast isn't included, but coffee is :) :) ) etc., the staff recommended the best ones too, and had excellent advice regarding the visit to the Rome city itself. The place itself was solid, compact and quiet, absolutely suited to stay for several days to explore the Rome city.

The only minor thing (which is, unfortunately, present in just about any ** to **** star hotel, at least in Europe) - the pillows are way too big and, most importantly, high, I don't know who are the people who find them comfortable.

The host of the property was the most welcome and helpful from all who can come across my memory. Kind, caring and attentive! I felt like I was coming home. If you have a late arrival, or early morning flight it is absolutely must to stay away from crowded Rome and relax in the quiet city of Ciampino. In the property there are plenty of options to have cup of coffee or tea. They even have a milk in the fridge) There are supermarket, few restaurants and some small lovely stores within two-three-five minutes from the property. Rome is easily can be reached by train(15 min). Train station is 5 minutes walking distance from Plaza Rooms.

I booked this room for a quick stay before my flight and after staying, wish I could have stayed longer. When I arrived I was greeted like family and helped with my bags. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They even texted me a variety of restaurants in the area. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. My room as well as the common areas were cozy and had everything needed for a long or short stay. It is conveniently located minutes from Ciampino Airport and the town it's located in has everything you could ask for and very walkable. I highly recommend this charming hotel and it's staff and look forward to staying again.

Very nice rooms, friendly staff & good location. The host provided lots of food recommendations and the mini bar is cheap. We stayed here and had a flight at 10am, the host advised the airport ride is short and it doesnt take long to get through security so we left at 8am for the 8:24 bus and were through security and sat at gate for 9am!

No complaints on the property but just an FYI that if ur flight is before 8am / really late there is no airport bus so you have to pay €25 for a taxi/transfer (bus is €1.20 each so this is considerably more expensive).

It was what we needed. Accommodation close to Ciampino Airport for a very early flight.

There is no taxi service in Ciampino, but the hotel organised a private shuttle service to the airport. This did arrive late because he was stopped by the police en route to pick us up. However, we were in contact with the driver, and he did get us to the airport in good time. There is a regular airport shuttle bus from the train station, 7 minutes walk from the hotel, to the airport but it doesn't run through the night.

We stayed for 2 nights for a Rock in Roma concert in Capannelle. Just 1 stop away on the train. The room was clean and comfortable with a sunny balcony. Bathroom clean and toiletries supplied. Shared kitchenette with coffee machine, kettle and sink, with a good selection of coffee pods and teas. Christos was helpful and kind, plenty of restaurant suggestions and advice on how to get to the gig. Easy transfer from the airport to the rooms by Alibus - 1,20€ and about 15mins Thank you!
