The room is comfortable and have a nice view. But the bathroom is too small to shower.

If you don’t have a car, don’t stay in Nord Hotel. It is far from everything. They also don’t have lunch or dinner. So you just have a place for breakfast (which doesn’t have a range of options) and sleep. Basic. I had a problem with the hairdryer in my room and the guy from the reception was not giving attention to solve. I had to ask multiples times to try another one because he was insisting it was ok, doubting me. So I had to make a video to prove. In general service was not good.

View was very nice, lovely staff, adequate room and breakfast.

The bathroom did not have a shower curtain, only able to take a bath.

The staff was really nice and welcoming, with small attentions that made a difference. The room was cozy and comfortable.

It's about a mile out of Cortina. Didn't get into Cortina until 7:30pm, Went straight to the hotel. Had no signal and didn't receive the email with the door code. Just by chance, the owner was just about to leave and told us. They don't do evening meals and we had an early start. There's just two restaurants next door, and one was Uber expensive. We didn't have time or inclination to walk back into Cortina, so we settled for the restaurant on the left, which was ok. However, it turned out that the hotel was on the main route to Dobbiaco, for the start of the Alta Via 1.

Skander was the most incredible director of Nord hotel. He made sure that every day and night we felt incredibly welcome, safe and comfortable. He greeted us every morning before leaving and every night we got home, even helping us arrange transport any time we needed. He is incredibly selfless and kind, and even helped us get back to our room on new years when we were stranded without way of getting back. The room itself was very clean and spacious as well. Overall me and my friends would 100% choose to stay here again if we were to return to Cortina.

Nice cozy hotel with beautiful view from balcony/terrace. Have spent just one night so it's kinda difficult, but even so, everything was okay, no issues. Comfy room, great welcome and intro. The local bus stops in front of the hotel, the busses to Toblach a little down the street.

Not a dislike when you know where you are booking, but there is a slight inconvenience which I was not able to figure out. When going down to Cortina by foot or to the bus stop to Toblach, you have to take the side of the main road, which is at this place very narrow and has no sidewalk. Other options are pretty lengthy and not nearly as fast. Not unsafe, but unpleasant.

When booking,, we had paid for our breakfasts. We had booked the room (for 2 nights) well before knowing what our activities in sight-seeing would be those days. When we checked in, we asked at what time breakfast was served. We were disappointed as it was later than at other places we had stayed. We had to catch early buses. When we askdd if we could have a little bag with a croissant and a fruit that he could have given us that night for us to at least have something to put in our stomach the next morning, he refused. When we asked to get re-imbursed for the breakfasts (2 people X 2 mornings) as we had to leave earlier than they serve, the owner again refused. 🙁

I want to give a huge shout out to its reception person by the name of Luka. He was so very helpful - me rental car would not start due to a faulty battery in the key fob. He unlocked the car with the key and suggested a shop within a mile, so instead of losing a day dealing with my rental co. i got it fixed in no time. grateful for that! + an excellent breakfast to get you going in the morning :)
