The ambience, the service and the overall experience was exceptional! Located only 20 minutes from the most beautiful beach and sea I have ever been (baia dei Turchi), this place offers the best environment where you can relax and enjoy your summertime! Food also was absolutely fantastic with a breakfast which surpassed our best expectations. For anything ask the owner, William, who is super nice and always ready to support in making this a memorable experience for you 🌟

Nothing really

We had booked a deluxe double room with an extra-large bed. A quick inspection confirmed that everything in the reservation was accurate, including the large, comfortable bed and kettle. The air conditioning was surprisingly quiet. Both room and bathroom were spacious, with French doors leading to the covered balcony. The balcony featured a table with three chairs and offered a panoramic view of the beautiful garden with its classical pond and fountain. However, the stairs from the balcony to the garden and the paved walkways to the pool could use a high-pressure wash. The swimming pool area was stunning, with ample sun loungers and some cabanas. Although the pool bar, where breakfast was served, looked a bit stark without patrons, it was functional, with neatly arranged square tables. Back in the room, we noticed the absence of chairs apart from an antique one at the desk, leaving little legroom for taller individuals. However, this was easily remedied by relocating terrace chairs into the room, providing comfort with their cushions. Each bedside table, however, had its wall socket and there were also two wall sockets at the desk. These were already occupied by the kettle and desk lamp. It's advised to bring a power strip if you want to charge multiple devices. The opinions on breakfast were divided. While there was an excellent buffet spread, we missed the presence of freshly cut fruit, preferring some pineapple and melon pieces. Scrambled eggs were absent too, but because we didn't inquire about them, we really can't complain. Nonetheless, the friendly staff had put in considerable effort. And what better way to conclude breakfast than with a fresh cappuccino?

As mentioned, the bathroom was spacious and fully equipped including a bidet and hairdryer. However, despite ample space, the shower cabin was small - 80 x 80 cm - with the traditional showerhead hanging too low for taller individuals. One could wish for a larger walk-in cabin with a rain shower. Nevertheless, the shower functioned well, and hot water was readily available. The mirror above the sink was also hung too low, requiring one to crouch while shaving. Ideally, the mirror should be raised or a movable shaving mirror installed on the wall. This may not be a problem for people under 190 cm.

The property is lovely, rooms are charming, breakfast is excellent (local delicious products, great quality). Room was cleaned every day, bed was made when we were out. Will, the host, was always around, smiling and very helpful. He gave us some recomandations for restaurants in the area, we tried some and were very grateful that we did. The bed is comfortable, tv with lots of channels, bathroom well equipped, spacious. The pool is clean, though our stay was too short to try it. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to come again! Thank you, Will!

Nothing.

Wow! We loved this property. We booked the garden room which is just stunning, it has a bedroom, a massive bath and another bathroom. Plus you get the whole garden with loungers and a patio! It was amazing. Plus fridge & kettle. The breakfast was lovely and in a beautiful room overlooking the amazing pool. The sun loungers had pillows that were the comfiest thing I’ve ever lay on!!! It was so peaceful, most days we had the pool to ourselves when we finished exploring. A hire car is a must to make the most of this beautiful area. Our favourite places to visit were: Castro - beautiful sea swimming, boat trips and lovely food places. Otranto (think spelt right!) loved the beach here and ate here in the evenings and had outstanding food. Marina Serra - stunning natural sea pool We stayed 5 nights and honestly on leaving just wanted to plan our return! I loved the staff and especially Will’s dad! He had the kindest smile and the best wave!! Thank you very much, Sally & Nick

Nothing! We just fell in love with it!

We stayed in the dependance which was a good decision for us. This is a stone house a little further away from the main house. So we had our well-deserved peace and quiet. The house consists of a bedroom, another room with a Jacuzzi and a small bathroom with shower. It has a minibar and kettle with tea bags but unfortunately no coffee. Outside there is a small table with two chairs where we could have our afternoon aperitif. It has a relatively large closet. There is also a modern air conditioner which can be adjusted well. The complex has a large gate which is closed at night but can be opened by remote control which each guest receives. The breakfast in the form of a buffet is offered in a separate room near the pool. Coffee is served. The pool area is beautifully kept and the whole vegetation is impressive.

The mattress was too hard for our taste, but William provided a topper so that we could spare our bones. There were noisy guests who had no consideration for others. That is why we were glad to have our depandance.

The property is located on the outskirts of a small village and is somewhat of an oasis which makes it a good base for those wanting to explore the area! Beautiful gardens well maintained and a good pool serviced with lots of sunbeds. The room was very clean albeit a little dark and very quiet at night, although we could hear people in the morning in adjacent rooms (TV noise) - but not an issue. Very pleasant staff and a truly excellent breakfast. Very safe with gates locked around 7pm.

We thought it would be a good idea to be located away from the coast but the village was very quiet and although 3 restaurants were suggested by the hotel to try, two were shut for holidays and the other wasn't really what we were looking for. There is a serviced bar at the pool which closes at around 7pm but as we drove to Otranto on both evenings for dinner, it would have been nice to have returned and shared a drink before bed. We did think it was a bit mean to charge 5 euros for a towel at the pool ....

A small resort, located in the middle of the heel of Italy's boot and it's a great starting point for discovering Salento. 15 min. drive to the nearest beach and cute town Otranto. Cursi otherwise is very sleepy town. The property is big and very well maintained. Breakfast is served in a dining room by the pool. There is lots of variety and food is of excellent quality. Staff very friendly and gives you lots of useful information, where to go and eat. The pool area is amazing. Room was nice with spacious bathroom. Big parking available behind the gate. Very safe. And last but not least, we would really want to thank you for help with flat tyre on our car.

Something of an oasis in the arid countryside; lovely pool (still open in October); good breakfast, although a bit samey by day 5; large and (initially) comfortable bed; good air con; conveniently placed for exploring southern Puglia.

Cursi town not very attractive, very limited dining options, had to drive more often than I wanted - a missed opportunity to provide dining in-house.

Extremely friendly staff, very helpful. Everything we needed was accommodated to our needs, even making sandwich after the kitchen closed. It is just perfect stay with a great pool and good free car park inside closed gate.

Not changing the bed sheet for the duration of our stay of more than a week, we stained the sheet the first day and it was there the last day. Small details that could be taken care of - make sure that the trash is working properly and similar things. In a excellent room, detention to details is also important. While there are plenty of restaurants in the area, you still need the car to get to them.

Everything was good about the hotel apart from a few points below.

Patrician walls were on the thin side and we could hear everything that went on in the next room Swimming pool steps were very dirty and fountain and jacuzzi never worked
