Excellent breakfast with lot of good choices. Very kind and service minded employees😊 We had a very nice holiday and will highly recommend Hotel Tobago to others.

Very friendly staff, clean and good sized room with balcony affording views over the lake and decent bathroom- upon arrival we were offered complimentary drink and room had complimentary wine wine fresh rose petals scattered across floor and bed 😊 Breakfast, as many others have said, is superb with a massive choice of fresh bread, fruit, cheese, cereals and cooked dishes (all choices need to be made the day before) Location is good with the town 1km away - a gentle 15 min stroll or take the free bus or free cycles, ad has underground parking with lift to your floor

I first visited this hotel back in 2017 and was so impressed I vowed to return as soon as I could. We stayed last week for 5 nights and once again it was very good but I didn’t feel the same vibe; maybe as it was peak season. The highlights are the staff, who are incredible attentive and friendly and the pool. On arrival we were greeted with welcome drinks and snacks and there were rose petals laid on the bed. These little touches really add to you feeling welcomed. Breakfast is extensive but you do have to pick what you want from a large menu the day before. This can be a bit annoying as you don’t know what you’ll fancy in the mornings. Dinner was nice but heavily seafood orientated. Service was excellent as ever. You get a surprise snack around the pool everyday which is a lovely touch. Although, I couldn’t help but compare it to previously where there was a pool service and the staff regularly checked to see if you wanted a drink and would bring out complimentary olives, for example. This time it lacked a bit of that and I guess it was because of it being busier. That is not to detract from the hard working staff though; if you needed anything there was also someone around to ask. The pool is very nice, with whirlpool areas and we easily spent all day there. Unfortunately, it is next to a road and as it was peak season it was rather loud. I’m sure before they used to leave the waterfall feature running and that blocked out some of the noise. This time you had to press a button and it only comes on for around 15 seconds. There are plenty of beds and there was never a rush to secure one. However, this does mean the beds are a bit cramped and bunched together. I would suggest the hotel looks at changing the decking though; it is looking a bit tired and worn now and it gets ridiculously hot in the sun. The rooms are nice and the bathroom was lovely with a walk in shower.

Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, great a la cart breakfast, extra afternoon snack on the house. Parking underground. We traveled witd kids, so they offered us two rooms next to each other, which were walk-through rooms - very practical.

SPA only with reservation. which is OK, but we coudn't get the reservation. It was fully booked every day so we did not use it.

Exceptional choice and quality of breakfast served by friendly staff. Room spotlessly clean with everything you could need. Friendly staff on reception, giving useful help and advice.

Not a criticism, and we understand your aim for very high cleanliness standards, but in order to be even more environmentally friendly, the bathroom and swimming towels do not need changing every day. We did see the note if we wanted towels changed to leave them on the floor, but they were changed every day when not requested.

You order your breakfast the day before you come down the next morning and it is brought to the table excellent breakfast and service the staff are exceptional

The walk back up from Garda in the heat uphill about 20mins there is a shuttle bus free but it stops at 7.15

Perfect location for us, small intimate hotel, perfect for couples Lovely outside space/pool and jacuzzi Vast Varied breakfast you can order as little or as much as you would like Downside is you have to order this the day before - and you don't always know what you are going to fancy or how hungry you might be!!

More flexibility with breakfast, in terms of picking/choosing on the day - as hard to know what you want tomorrow or the next day or just ow hungry you are going to feel or not feel!! Nothing worse than waste - so could run the risk of overordering and having alot of waste!! Or under ordering and leaving breakfast still hungry!!!

Staff were outstanding! Room was great, breakfast amazing, good pool area, parking worked well and all around, it’s a very nice hotel!

Just know that the hotel is a bit of a walk from Garda town.

the breakfast is outstanding, the staff very friendly and the hot tub was very nice and relaxing. Nice that they offer a free snack in the afternoon. Good quality rooms, sufficient parking available.

the hotel is right next to the busy road and roundabout, keeping your window open is impossible because of the sound levels. Bikes need servicing.
