Stunning views from the mountain where the property is located. Huge pool. Property is beautifully renovated keeping the style of the 1600s which is when it was constructed to serve as a village. As such the property is big, you can walk around and enjoy the details. Nice hiking trails around. Good restaurant with dinner and breakfast. Super helpful staff! The views and the beautiful old style buildings surrounded by nature really made it feel like the Tuscan paradise.

We struggled with the wifi, not a huge issue because I also had good cell reception but reverted using that for internet rather than wifi. It probably depends on the room how shielded the signal is. The mountain pass leading up and the gravel road for the last 1/4 mile to the property are a little narrow, but that adds to the feeling of remoteness and the privacy of the place and to the overall vibe.

unfortunately, I have left two my favorite shirts in the room on the rack. I have contacted the hotel and they confirmed that they have found those shirts and asked me if I will come back to collect them. I have kindly asked them, as I was already far away on my way home, wether they could send the shirts to my home address which I have immediatelly provided stating also that all the expenditures related to post service I will certainly and gladly cover. However, nothing was probably send that I did not receive any package or info yet. Disappointment...a big one. Enjoy the shirts...

It’s a really nice preserved Italian Borgo with many details to discover. The pool invites for a nice bath and the Bar serves great drinks. The rooms were clean, and there are some easy hiking routes starting from the location.

During our stay maintenance work has been executed without prior notice, leaving us without water twice for five hours each in the morning. Once we found staff (executing the maintence) being in our apartment - despite locked door and do not disturb sign, while we were sleeping in the other room - no notice and no bell ring upfront. Left us being on alert for the rest of the stay. I hope that this has been just an unfortunate coincidence. Be aware that the road to the stay is rather narrow and there are rather limited eateries around, probably leaving you with the house restaurant for most of the days.

Style, location in hills and ease to visit different parts of Italy. Used as a base to visit Cinque Terra, Pisa and other parts of Tuscany. Autostrade very accessible. Hire car conveniently parked next to Villa. Two members of family gluten free hence shopping centre about a 20 min drive to obtain groceries as villa was fully self contained. Restaurant first night was great, limited gluten free. Breakfast nice, same each morning. Provided gluten free. New Year’s Eve was beautiful as at midnight we counted about 9 firework displays around us that we could see from hill location. Villas booked out with a fabulous atmosphere.

Breakfast identical each of 5 mornings. No information given about area or what to see upon check in. Right hand bed in lower bedroom needs to be replaced as compacted and noted funny odor toward very end of stay. Had to ask for towels to be replaced for five night stay. No housekeeping for longer stays. Also no details given as to where bins emptied during stay. Think most people must stay for very short visits as we noted whilst there.

The whole location is extraordinary in a positive sense. The room we had was very spacious and equiped with more than expected. The complete Team (staff) was very friendly. We got several additional Information about the mountain area and cities/villages around. The pool area is simply perfect, very clean and equiped with enough sun loungers.

Nothing to complain. Just a small hint from personal perspektive: - The shower can be less fancy - Insted of a small and not propper functioning wellness shower a simple but working glas cabin with simple shower head. - The Tiramisu del Casa should be made with more italian amore and less foam like ingredients which have nothing to do with Original Tiramisu - Portions of Pasta can be bigger

Wonderful location, great view, fabulous setting for families. We stayed 3 nights and would have stayed much longer. Lots to do nearby.

There was a special event on the Friday night with music until midnight. Our room window was straight in front of the pool, making it challenging for the kids to fall asleep with the blasting music.

Charming old converted hamlet looking over wooded valleys. Good value, and quality, food and wine. Happy staff.nice pool not over chlorinated.

We didn't stay longer. Our mezzanine bed was challenging for full sized people, but amusing rather than than annoying. The non toll route can cause palpitations. Pay the money and save your nerves!

Location due to the view. The quietness and pool area. The staff was very kind and helpful though, especially Melania - all 🌹 to her!

Long wait for food and not easy to take you to other places unless you have a car

Stunning property absolutely gorgeous! Will come back and stay longer .

Getting to the property was a bit difficult and confusing, road signs were lacking and very high up in the hills .
