The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is one big apartment in a traditional florentine building. The breakfast room was very pretty. The bedroom was comfy, spacious and well soundproofed. The breakfast was good. The location was great.

There are a few steps to access the hotel's floor, so be aware if you have heavy suitcases.

LOVED this unique hotel, which is walking distance to many sites. It was so comfortable in our family room (3 beds). There was a high ceiling (painted with a lovely fresco), and views of city life. Conveniently located, near Santa Croce and many restaurants and shops in all directions. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and included many gluten free options. Julia at the desk was an angel and helped so much when I fell ill on our trip. Thank you, Julia!

It took us a night to learn that we should close our windows and turn on the AC to block out the street noise. Our room was facing the intersection, so it was busy!

The staff is AMAZING! The day I got there, was day to get used to everything. But after that, it literally was so comfortable. It’s a cross between a hotel and an Arnb. breakfast is included. The one thing I would say is that if you book here, it is a little different when you get there. When you get there, you ring the doorbell, and there is absolutely no reception area. There are 4 to 5 stairs that you have to take up and then go in an elevator to the first floor. That’s where the actual hotel is. But there is no elevator for that first 4 to 5 steps. And remember that this is Florence and everything is really old. so if you are older or you need assistance, that is an issue here. But that is true of entire Florence. I think when I was there, I saw one person in a wheelchair and a couple people using a cane. It is a walkable city. The streets are very narrow. Pathways are very narrow. Hotel is in a great location. everything you want is between 15 minutes to 30 minute walk. The hotel room itself was beautiful. It is basically an old building renovating into a hotel . I believe it was six rooms. The staff is amazing. The experience was great . I would highly recommend it.

Very clean and spacious. The shower was big and after being in Rome, Florence and Venice finally we were able to take a nice shower.

Location is great for visiting the main tourist attractions with plenty of good eateries close-by. The hotel is just one floor in a very old building which is a stone-throw from Michaelangelo's own house which you can visit. The staff are really friendly and helpful. We were given tips on which restaurants to try which we did. The room was big enough with plenty of space and re-freshed daily which doesn't always happen nowadays. The bed was huge and soooo comfortable. A really nice place to stay.

The personnel was really helpful. I met Costanza which gave me a sense warmth and made me feel like part of the family. Also, there was an initial issue with the WiFi connection and she tried to troubleshoot it with great problem solving techniques. The issue was out of her hands al the moments, but she went above and beyond offering her own personal data so I could contact my family during my birthday. All of this with self initiative to do a kind act. Not just that, but she gave great recommendations of places around, made reservations for me and even shared insights of the culture and history of the place. She also followed up throughout the visit. All of these definitely added to my stay and made the difference.

The room was very pretty. The location is perfect to walk everywhere. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and helpful. Overall, we would definitely stay here again, but when it is cooler!

Our room was very hot. We were only initially provided one small fan. The second night we had to request a second in order to reach all of the beds in the room. The location is also difficult to find because Google and Apple Maps send you a block short. You do have to climb up a small set of stairs before reaching the lift with your luggage.

It is a small boutique hotel. The description of it in booking is very accurate about everything. What made a big difference was its very friendly and helpful stuff. From our arrival, Eleonora made our check-in a breeze, while during the stay, Julie accommodated all our needs brilliantly. Hotel is located within walking distance to all attractions from your "must see list," including a train station. We had a rental car but did not use it during the 3 day stay. Read the hotel description and follow it to the dot as well as communicate with them before the arrival with any questions. they were great with answering all questions and providing great tips. The staff are amazing especially Yany who was very welcoming, lovely and helpful.. she made me feel at home in Florence… i decided to stay for one more night but unfortunately they were fully booked. She helped me with finding a place to stay and went an extra mile in doing so.. now i got a new good friend in Firenze! .. Location was also good allowing me to run on early mornings by the river..

We stayed in ‘Melissa’ room with a balcony which was immaculately clean and very nice. Plenty of storage space for clothes. Breakfast was good with continental choices, with a very helpful member of staff on hand to make fresh coffee/tea, fresh orange juice and scrambled eggs.

The toaster was very slow could do with being replaced with a new one. Also, there was no milk sachets in the room but plenty of tea, coffee and sugar. This wasn’t a problem because we just asked a member of staff for some.
