The area of room was perfect. The bathroom was very comfortable with a sort of mortar used as a flooring, which made it ever dry. The Wi-Fi was working perfectly. The breakfast was really good and they did not allow any serving to get empty. The receptionist omar was very helpful and provided me on the first day with a really comprehensive guidance on the map to help me explore Florence. The other receptionist lady also was very helpful. It was a lovely shared terrace in which you could sit by the side of the reception area.

Perhaps if it was a little bit closer to the center this would have been great!! The hall in which we had breakfast needed a bit of aeration or a fan or an air condition.

We needed to book a place to stay for an extra night. Since it was near the end of our trip, we chose the most reasonable price we could find. What a bargain! There were four of us and we slept in very comfortable, very clean bunk beds. At the beginning of the day, we were worried and frustrated, by the time we got to Garden Blue and saw the bunkbeds we were making a pajama party out of it. The next day, breakfast was on the house. There were plenty of items from which to choose and everything was delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a great discovery. Whether you are on a budget or not, this is a great find.

I don't understand the mediocre reviews: it was a pretty decent stay! The staff is very friendly. I travelled with my old Indian mother, and the staff made sure she was welcomed and also initiated conversations with her (something we haven't encountered so far!). The rooms: Big and spacious, sufficient for two people. The room we had was on the first floor and the stairs were not very high up. The transport: You have to take a tram (2 stations from Firenze Santa Maria Railway station) and walk about 10-15 minutes (it's navigable). From here you can literally walk everywhere: The entire city of Florence is 10 minutes-20 minutes of walking from here. The tax: Higher on the Tourist tax: we paid 12 euros for 2 person per night. Be mindful of that because costs can add up. The breakfast: Lots of options including vegetarian things. Overall, it was really good. Don't know why the negative reviews; I think it was one of our better stays in entire Italy.

The city taxes are high (6 euros/person/night). Be mindful of this! It can easily add up to a lot.

Walking distance off the center. breakfast, nice display , with good variety to choose from.

ad the check in at the morning the receptionist ask to paid for the checking service. i did paid . when i back in afternoon to get the key the receptionist ask again, (which is another receptionist) to paid de service or tip. the receptionist was not happy because i answer i paid already , yes i did paid already thad kind of attitude didn't make me feel very trustworthy.

The location worked well. The receptionist recommended a wonderful restaurant which we walked to on day one and returned on Day 2. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but went to a nearby coffee shop which made coffee I love. Firenze is wonderful.

Getting out when we left very early in the morning was difficult. My husband went to get help. When he got back, I had managed to open the door. It was easier coming in rather than leaving!

It was a nice, serviceable hotel (former hostel). Its big and busy... The staff were EXCELLENT - very friendly, very helpful, very professional. The location was 'okay' - a bit of a walk from the centre, but better because it was out of the tourist 'press'. The breakfast was 'good-ish' but again, being a big place, very busy. All in all, a good experience.

The breakfast room was CROWDED - you had to fight for a table. There aren't a huge amount of restaurants, cafes, bars in the area so you have to go further afield to find food.

Breakfast was generous and suited us very well, as I'm vegetarian but my cousin is not.

As they are in the process of renovating this comment will soon be redundant. My cousin found the room very small, and the bathroom colour scheme not to her liking (I had to agree there but I expect it's on the list to get tiled soon, hopefully). However as we were only staying a few days it was not ab issue that spoiled our experience.

​It's a good place to stay​ for the price, clean rooms, sheets​, everyday towel change and cleaning​, always hot water. Decent breakfast. Very friendly and competent staff. Excellent amenities such as vast terraces for the evening relaxation with a glass of Tuscan wine or tumbler of Scotch. Summing up, it​'s a great place to stay for few days, close to City center, restaurants and shopping. Thumbs up! I wrote this opinion based on two​ three days stays at the place during my last vacation​ in August 2023. Cheer up everybody!

For the price I cant think of anything.

From our first arrival, Omar helped show us all the highlights of the areas and restaurants; we were impressed with the breakfast, and the chef took great pride in the croissants' cleanliness and quality; the walk is about 1.3 km to the center of the museum center. We also used the outdoor patios, which were nice for morning coffee.

CAnnot provided any negative comments; everyone was friendly and courteous to everyone we saw. The only issue was that Apple Maps showed a different location, about 700 feet different, even though the same road was still 700 feet.

The staff, the location, the breakfast were excellent, you can walk to the train station and the old city, if you want, there is also a bus nearby.There is also a very cute and beautiful terrace for smoking. It is great to have a refrigerator in the room and also, when you need a drink at night, you can buy it from the machine for a fee.The only place I will stay when I go to Florence again
