Excellent breakfast. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. We really felt welcome. Good location to Termini. Felt safe in the area at night.

Mattress was a little more firm than I like, but still slept well, otherwise, it was a great stay.

Domus Helena is modern, clean and comfortable, but most of all, it offers a peaceful refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Location could have been marginly better, but this is only a minor issue as there is a Metro station nearby.

Location is quite available. Simple but well-equipped room. Staffs are all kind and nice. Rich breakfast choices.

Street facing room would hear noisy though windows all closed.

From the moment I entered the hotel until check out everything was absolutely amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful; The hotel itself and the room are very clean and comfortable; I can’t speak for all the rooms in the hotel, so my room was small but incredibly comfortable, despite the size, the room had absolutely everything you need. In addition, the space is organized very cleverly, bravo, special respect goes to the owner of the hotel; Also, the hotel has 2 stunning terraces of huge size across the entire width of the hotel; Breakfasts were included and breakfasts were amazing. I mean EVERYTHING that you can imagine for breakfast-you’ll find it; Location of the hotel is also very good. For example, you can walk to the Colosseum in about 10-12 minutes. There are many restaurants, bars and other necessary infrastructure around. Metro station a couple of minutes walk; Without you guys my trip to Rome wouldn’t have been so great and unforgettable! Simple but clean accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Check-out is at 11 a.m. but they were able to store my luggage and allow the use of a guest lounge. There is a decent breakfast buffet with many options. Reception is staffed 24 hours, just leave the key at the front desk (which is great because I never had to worry about lost or stolen key). Bed was comfortable with 2 pillows - 1 soft and 1 hard. This was perfect. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

There was not much room alongside the bed. It was alright for one person. Perhaps there are also larger rooms? No major complaints. The accommodation is pretty much as described on the site and in other reviews.

The value of this hotel is excellent. The room has everything you need and is clean, and the breakfast offering was extensive.

The property is a bit far from most of the sites in Rome, especially if you’re unlucky enough to be there on a day when the metro isn’t operating due to a strike like I was! This meant walking 40+ minutes to get to things, longer if you want to cross the river. Also worth noting that you have to keep your key at reception while you’re out and about - not sure why and it feels like a bit of a security risk to me, but it’s not a big deal.

Excellent breakfast with good variety of hot and cold dishes, lovely coffee, quiet atmosphere 7.00a.m. onwards. Spotlessly clean property in all areas. Very welcoming and helpful with advice and practicalities, Simple but spacious single room where everything worked perfectly. No problems with wifi connecting. Good connections via metro, bus and tram within 6 mins. walking time.

Nothing about the property but perhaps a little more detail on how to find the property at the beginning of the stay. The map makes it look nearer to Termini but actually Victore Emmanuel station on the Metro is nearer.

I like how calm and serene the place was. The location was top and even if it was nearby a main avenue, my room was super quiet and the building was also calm. A much needed time to not be constantly bombarded by the honks of cars and everything else in between.

The wifi connection was not the best at time, and that is minor to the essential which was a comfortable bed, a safe location and a friendly staff. One thing that I was very particular is the food. I know I eat like a bird and the options for vegetarians was limited.

Super friendly staff, great location (short walk from Roma Termini, close to subway), good room layout, clean and mostly quiet.

Included soap products in the bathroom are scented so strongly that I could not use them. Maintenance should periodically check the rooms; In mine the drain cover in the shower was not attached properly, and the A/C smelled like “dirty socks,” even after being run for several hours. Breakfast selection is mostly good but the scrambled eggs were not even warm when I tried them and every time I checked out the bacon it was all one mass of cooked-together pieces.
