The staff were very friendly and helpful. The young man (Lorenzo) at the front desk always greeted me as I passed and offered information on what to see on the island. I was also upgraded to a room with a balcony - thank you :-)

The only bad thing was that I had mosquitos in my room and got bitten at night.

The location is ideal because it is nest to the Port. It is an easy walk after departing the ferry. The personnel are quite friendly and will assist you with your questions. I have stayed here 2 years in a row and if I return, I will stay again. It is an understated hotel that is most comfortable and convenient. The breakfast is expansive. Although I did not prefer some of the items, there was always enough choices to create a meal of your liking. Spa services are excellent. The pool although small has a great view of the marina. The pool was never crowded either year.

Hotel is well located opposite the harbour so great views. You do get woken earlier with the boats getting ready though. Staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast wasn't that great, so we ended up having a second small one at the cafe round the corner. The rooms are a little tired, especially the bathrooms, but they do the job. Bring your own toiletries, since the hotel ones struggle to get a lather up! The rooftop thermal pool is great - very warm (around 32-34 degrees) so eases any muscle strains.

Mosquitoes bugged us the first night, since we couldn't see any to start. Once we smacked them all, it was fine. Subsequent nights ok, as we didn't open the French doors and did a scout round for them when getting back to the room (there were quite a few in the hallway and they must get into the rooms, during maid cleaning). Obviously a common problem judging by the splatters on the walls. (We didn't have any in Naples or Capri). Breakfast as above - a bit basic.

The location is superb, facing the port/harbour, so in the very centre close to all shops and restaurants, as well as boats if you wish to take a trip around the island or to other islands around. We had a room with a terrace on the top floor with a fantastic view of the harbour. The hotel is also close to the Aragonese Castle built on a small tidal island connected by a causeway. It has a pool with thermal water and a lovely area around it on three levels with enough sunbeds, but the two levels above are not well taken care of. It's a pity. The spa was great and I recommend an anti-aging facial. And if you wish to swim in the sea, in addition to several public beaches close by, you can take a taxi that will take you to Giardino Eden, a beach club about 10 minutes from the hotel. It offers sea access, pools and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was not replenished so if you were later, so e.g. 10:00 while breakfast was open until 10:30, you could not find much of anything. Once we came earlier, around 9:00, and it was great. Pity.

Less then a 5 minute walk with a suitcase from the port you'll see the hotel.I was greeted to happy reception staff even though early they checked me in and upgraded my room. My room was big and clean with a large bathroom plus balcony. The hotel offers a number of services, during my stay I used the thermal pool. They also have a bar which is handy to indulge with a drink after a long day walking around. Breakfast was plentiful and offered a variety of sweet and savoury. I recommend this hotel because of its location close to port, bus terminal and shops and great staff.

The property is in an excellent location close to the harbour. The staff without exception were friendly, polite and professional. The roof terrace was a very pleasant surprise, it just keeps going up and up the hillside and the views are wonderful. Breakfast was of a very good quality with a plentiful choice. The building is also very solidly built, which made for an excellent sleep - you could not hear the people in other rooms or corridors.

The room decor is a bit dated, although of good quality.

The hotel staff are superb, friendly, informative, and helpful. I could no fault a single one of them. The location is perfect for exploring the hotel itself is clean and comfortable and has good facilities for when you dont wish to explore the island.

There are a few areas that need a little more attention with maintenance but nothing that impacts your stay

the hotel is very well located. It is very close to the harbour and the public transportation. The area is full of shops and good restaurants. The building is a bit outdated but what it makes it a 4star is the kindness and availability of the staff. You feel welcome from the very first moment and you are always treated with kindness. We also appreciated the free upgrade to a triple room, since we were travelling with a child. Breakfast was good too. The pools were a true bliss.

We had a comfortable room with doors leading out onto the terrace that has steps up to the outdoor thermal pool. There is also a lovely indoor thermal pool and sauna with treatment rooms. There was a large buffet breakfast each morning. It is right by the port, so within a few steps of where the ferry arrives into Ischia Porto. You are in the town and have all the shops and facilities on your doorstep. Plus close to the bus station where all the island buses start and finish.

We give 10 points to the staff. The moment we walked in the hotel, beautiful friendly Jelena welcomed us with a lovely sweet smile. She gave us excellent information- from what to see, where to go, what bus to take...to where to eat excellent pizza...What a great representative for the hotel. Young & cheerful Lorenzo also gave us good advice about what type of pizza must try - Grassi & Nerano. Amazing !! The hotel can be proud to have them at the front desk. Our room was upgraded to have a beautiful view of the port ! THANK YOU. Surprisingly quiet at night. Magic ! Breakfast was great. Enjoyed the fresh fruits and different types of brioche. Staff there too were lovely & attentive. Francesco served us tea, coffee very fast and happily. Bravo Francesco :-)) Location was perfect for us, 5 mins walk - ferry harbour, bus station, restaurants, shops, cafes.. Oh yes, thanks for the welcome drinks. Appreciated :-) All in all we had an excellent time in Ischia, love the people, food especially pizza, nature and the beauty of the island. Hope to be back again :-)

We noticed many guests just jumped in the pool without shower /wash first (we used the 1st floor pool only, didn't try the other one on the 5th floor) The "shower/wash before getting in pool" sign should be more visible, i.e. placed at the main door or entrance to pool. No towel provided for pool use. Needed to take from room (not real problem as our room was 2 steps from the pool :-D
