Location is lovely - cute village (NB not suitable for people with mobility problems - access is only by foot and a lot of steps) - getting to cinque terre villages is easy (bus to riomaggiore then train). Room was comfortable and plenty of space. There was access to a large fridge you could use. There is a nice terrace and small garden to sit out in.

I did not like the fact they supplied tea/coffee maker then expected you to pay for the coffee. Surely it should be included in the room rate. Although you could order breakfast supplied to the room it was mainly sweet things - no bread - we did not really like it.

We stayed in Pieter Di Mare for 2 nights and Andrea was super helpful and accommodating. He met us at the car park and walked us to the hotel, telling us about the history of the place which is great! The hotel is in a lovely little town nestled in the mountains, it’s quite remote and only has 2 restaurants that aren’t open all the time, so if you’re happy with this I would definitely recommend this place! There are smalls delis and supermarkets that have great local food, so you won’t go without. Gloria in the tobacco shop was super super helpful at getting us bus and train tickets and even gave us a discount on local wine! All in all, this is a brilliant place to stay if you want to explore the Cinque Terre region. Just make sure you have a car!

There wasn’t much to dislike about the hotel, it was great!

Everything about the accommodation was amazingly quaint, comfortable and peaceful. The view we woke up to each morning created such a peaceful atmosphere. Never before have I stayed in a village like this. The walk between car park and hotel is not for the unfit, but to just imagine how old those walls are that you pass en route, makes it all worthwhile.

Nothing about the accommodation was bad. Be prepared for lack of food options in the village, especially if it's not the weekend. Also don't rely on Google Maps for if the restaurants that do exist, are open. Ask the wonderful hotel owners/staff

The owner was very hospitable, gave us over and above all the information we needed to find our way and enjoy the small town and the sorroundings. The room, balcony and garden were immaculate. You can actually feel rested while sitting on the balcony and enjoy the peace of that small town and the incredible view. The town has a few restaurants and places you can get a coffee and fresh croissant. It also has a hostel, so you see locals, families and young people. The place is green with lots of beautiful flowers and not crowded. It is easy to get to Cinque Terre by bus and back. Always take the first bus stop because the bus is usually full. Parking places are few, but we had no problem finding parking and it is free.

Everything was great. There is nothing we didn't like. But the streets are actually steep stairs, so travel light. Be prepared to walk and climb stairs.

The host was just really welcoming and took some time to show us around, give us some info on the town we were staying and give advice about what to visit. The town is small but really nice and we had a great stay. I would definitely come there again and I strongly recommend everyone going there.

The only thing that comes to mind is that if you're bad on foot, you probably will have a hard time getting to the place since there's quite some stairs to get to it.

We were visiting the Cinque Terra over two days and stayed one night in Pietra di Mare. We loved the location and the rooms we had were very comfortable with a beautiful view. Andrea was very helpful and let us drop off our luggage early and helped us with information about the area. We enjoyed returning to the quiet town of Biassa after visiting the busy villages . There are a lot of steps but it is all part of the charm . The local restaurant is great too.

We loved everything .

The owner communicates very clearly and went out of his way to teach us about the area and even recommended the best ways to see as much of cinque terra as possible - by boat. Turned out to be such a gift! The space requires a good climb up some stone stairs but oh how that adds to the authenticity. This place is such a rare gem - to be able to experience some of the beauty and history of this old town and in the comfort of a beautifully redone room was spectacular for us! The view from the veranda and the bells tolling from the church below were highlights. Two excellent restaurants below.

Wish there were more fans as I failed to note lack of A/C when booking

The location of the little town of Biassa is perfect for exploring Cinque Terre. It's off the beaten track which makes it quiet and peaceful. The room was lovely, neat and clean and the view of La Spezia from the balcony is beautiful. Andrea was a superb host who was very helpful with information about the area. The little Tobacco shop (owned by Gloria) just up the road is a must visit. She is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and gives valuable information on where to go and what to do.

The only criticism is that it would have been wonderful to have had a laundry service.

Our host Andrea was just amazing!! The guest house is beautiful, recently renovated, comfortable and very clean. The village itself is so unique and takes you back in time. And it's also close enough to explore the Cinque Terre region. Highly recommend hiring a car for this whole experience though. Andrea also had all the local tips & tricks for us which was so helpful. We'll definitely be visiting her again!!

We loved our stay here. The area is beautiful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Andrea was super helpful and friendly. It was a good base for us to explore Cinque Terre and we'd definitely stay again. The views from the terrace looking down to the port in La Spezia were lovely. Lots of options for hiking too if that's your thing.

Breakfast was limited; just a basket in the room with a selection of cakes, wafers and biscuits not included in the room price. This didn't bother us much to be fair, and there was a coffee machine in the room. Again, not a problem for us but, there are a lot of steps to get to the accommodation! Certainly keeps you fit.
