This was one of the best b&b's that I ever stayed in. Casa Gemma is run by a wonderful family who I had the honour to share some time with and share our experiences with. Armida and her sister Laura are the sweetest persons. The house is a dream, set on a hill overlooking the beautiful and raw village of Lamezia Terme. It has a lot of land, trees and plants and is near a forest. My dog thoroughly enjoyed sniffing around and exploring. If you are looking for tranquility and the most amazing welcome from this beautiful family, this is the place to be! Very highly recommended! It was a wonderful experience. The room was clean and neat, we were showed around and hosts took the best care of us from the very beginning and till we left. When we woke up, there was a table in the garden prepared for us, and we were served the home made breakfast with the delicious coffee. The hosts were really nice and helpful, the house and garden were great and the view from the window was breathtaking! We 100% recommend to stay at Casa Gemma. This will make your experience in Lamezia Terma even more pleasurable and will give you a chance to get into real authentic atmosphere of southern Italy. PS: not even mentioning that the hostess has sent you all the links and locations of the places to visit there, provided with the detailed information regarding public transportation (up to sending us the screenshots of the train we would need to take) and contacted us the next day, when we already left Italy, to ask how was our trip! Additionally, both hosts speak English which is a big advantage. Overall, we truly felt like we were just visiting our relatives and as we’ve spent the night with family, as these people made us feel welcomed and we had the easiest and most comfortable communication.

Casa Gemma itself is an amazing “Gem” on top of the hill above Lamezia Terme. It’s surrounded by nature in all her glory. But that wasn’t all. The Nicotera family are the most gracious and welcoming hosts that I have ever had! It truly was the perfect ending to my month long trek through Sicily and Calabria.

Armida and her family were wonderful hosts. You couldn’t have asked for more accommodating people. It was a pure joy to have been their guests. The Property is beautiful and like a garden of Eden!

The property was a bit remote and little further from Lamezia than we had anticipated, however we would consider this a minor issue.

The property itself was pleasant with amazing and picturesque views of the township.

Regrettably, you need a car to reach the property which is located on top of a hill. Apart from this, the property is a grand old home rich in history!

This is simply an amazing place with a great view over the city, though pretty close to it. Armida is a very nice person and making the stay just great. And then there’s this stunningly beautiful garden… where you could spend hours and days :) We just loved the place!

Beautiful setting with great views. The family that runs the B&B are absolutely wonderful. They are the friendliest Italians we have met. They prepared a great breakfast for us as well.

A little hard to find but eventually we did and it was worth it for the lovely view.

We felt like close friends and part of the family. Lovely place to stay and we will be going back later next year.

The breakfast was served in a lovely room and was a bit different each day. Bed was very comfortable.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. The location is very good. Near everything, but silence and stunning views. the breakfast was wonderful. Thank you very much to the very sincere hosts.
