The actual building is gorgeous the rooms we had...included amazing vaulted ceilings....its all very spacious and airy on the first floor..and you are really close to the beating heart of Lecce....there is even a small shop to buy any daily necessities...round the corner...as well as all the cafes and restaurants..and cute stylish Italian shops.. you need on your doorstep..breakfast is generous too and on some days there was Carla's home made quiche which was wonderful. I also found the people who help with cleaning to be so efficient and kind..grazzie Manuela.....if you want to book tours there are wonderful people who help with that too..grazziie Bibiana

The place was big, comfortable and very clean. Located in the historic centre, near everything. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was very nice!!

You can't get to the place by car... you have to park 7 blocks aways and walk. Nobody told us that, so we went to the historic centre by car and now we're probably getting a fine.

It was a very lovely stay. The apartment was at the heart of the historic centre, near the main basilicas and squares. Receptionist Annalisa was an amazing help, she told us everything we need to know about Lecce and its surroundings. Thank you for your kind soul!

The Dimora San Leucio is well situated in the old part of Lecce, very quiet. Great size room with comfortable bed. Bathroom was roomy & great shower.

The breakfast is provided at a bistro close by, but very limited with food options. However they did serve fresh OJ, tea & coffee & a nice croissant. It certainly wasn’t what us displayed in advertisement photos

The Palazzo has a great location the historical center of Lecce, which is an amazing town! Very close to the main sights and restaurants, but still very quite. Our suite was very spacious, with very high ceilings, giving you a real Palazzo feeling. Very friendly hosts. They organized a cheap parking nearby, which was very comfortable. We received every morning a delicious home made cake and a really good coffee! We had a great stay!

The room needs some renovation and repair of the facilities. In general is not that luxurious as in the photos, but still a very nice accommodation, which we would recommend. We had a great stay there!

Our stay at Dimora San Leucio was so lovely! We absolutely hope to stay again at Carla and Flavio’s B&B. It is, of course, possible to find more than one place that’s attractive, clean, convenient and comfortable with a nice breakfast in a beautiful city. This was all those things and reasonably priced, as well. However, some places you especially want to return to because of the people and the personal hospitality they offer. This is one of those special places. Carla and Flavio were so warm and welcoming, and we could see were available to offer extra assistance to all their guests whenever they saw there was a need (make phone calls to assists guests, have the very gracious idea to connect us with some people in my husband’s profession that he would certainly like to meet one day, offer extra support and compassion to a very tired family with young children, etc.). My husband had an allergic reaction to something at a restaurant. Thankfully, we didn’t need extra support, but it was comforting to know we could have called on our kind hosts. They truly are available for their guests. We would love to have gotten to know Carla and Flavio even better. Specifics to Note: Puglia is an interesting place with much to offer and Lecce less touristic than many great old cities of Italy (though bustling with some foreign tourists and many visiting Italians and locals, especially in the evenings). Dimora San Leucio is on a quiet lane in the pedestrian-friendly historic center, just a few minutes walk from the safe and staffed car park and only steps away from the main attractions of Lecce (we loved being just around the corner from a lovely little piazza with a church, restaurants and a small nighttime artists’ market). Flavio and Carla speak primarily Italian.

For specifics that some may need to keep in mind, please read above. However, we truly had no complaints whatsoever. All was lovely!

An 18th century palazzo ( mansion) right in the heart of the historic center of Lecce, this lovely house could not be more convenient for sight-seeing. Delicious breakfast - cheeses,breads,hams, yogurt. The hosts Flavio and Carla are kindest, nicest people I have ever met and nothing was ever too much for them. They arranged a walking tour of the city with an excellent guide, and an all-day car tour of the enchanting coastline, with its clear azure blue waters, guided by Flavio himself with insight and sincerity. You get to see Salento through the eyes of a local person and understand their passion for their native land. Flavio and Carla can help you have an unforgettable trip - thoroughly recommended! I can't wait to go back!

I thought I had booked a room with two separate beds but we were given a double. there would have been a charge for an extra bed so we decided to stick with a double.

Flavio and Carla are wonderful hosts. Very attentive to all our needs. Great breakfast with custom coffee orders. The room was large - nice to have the extra room. Easy walking to all Lecce sights. Such a wonderful town to visit.
