The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern. The location was excellent right opposite the ferry stop with easy access to Venice. There were good beaches close by - we went to Blue Moon beach. Lots of lovely restaurants within walking distance.

The breakfast choice was limited but we enjoyed what we had. It’s good that the hotel provides free bikes but the ones we were given were a bit old and rusty. We ended up hiring from a shop near the hotel for 10 Euros for the day.

Excellent, large room. Cleaned regularly and bathroom well maintained and everything working well. Breakfast was better than expected, not just bread, croissants and coffee. Although Venice and its hotels are more expensive than anywhere else I regularly travel to, at the Belvedere you have a large room, it is more quiet than central Venice and only a 20 minute vaporetto trip to San Marco. There are reasonably priced restaurants and bars nearby.

I contacted the hotel via booking.com prior to my stay to enquire whether there was a kettle or coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel replied to say there was not but that there was a 24 hour bar service. Because I am an insomniac I like to hove drinks available in the night. On arrival I was told that the bar and restaurant closed at 9pm. I don’t know how a hotel can make such a simple error in it’s messaging!

Really easy access straight off the ferry. Lovely little bakery, cafe and restaurant next door, and loads of local cafes and small shops including a pharmacy around the back. The room was basic, very clean and modern, perfect for us. Lovely shower. Friendly staff. Yummy little continental breakfast every morning of fresh croissants, local cheese, ham, yoghurt, fruit salad, cereal, rolls, coffee etc. Absolutely fantastic value for money.

the location is convenient for catching the vaporetto to Venice or spending the day at the beach. The staff was nice and welcoming.

the AC was too strong and it was impossible to change the settings, it was positioned in front of the bed so the air was directly on me and opening the window was not an option as it was noisy outside. breakfast offering is very basic and could be enhanced a bit more.

Loved location and room decoration, looked new, bathroom big, great shower. Reception staff helpful. Really nice.

Not keen on limited breakfast option, only one choice of cereal, one type of hard white bread roll. Ok for husband as he eats cheese and meat for breakfast but I don't and struggled, boiled egg (cold) and soggy fruit. Downstairs dining room / breakfast room dated compared to upstairs. Like two different establishments.

As we were arriving by car and not knowing Venice to well I booked the hotel based on ratings. The directions from the mainland took us to a ferry port,we assumed this was wrong but on ringing the hotel found out that we actually had to take a car ferry to get to the hotel(which we didn't know) €45 each way!!!! Hotel was attractive and had great parking outside. Room was comfortable and clean,bathroom really wasn't up to standard (shower curtain which stuck to you)first shower curtain we had had in 15 different accommodations on this trip. It seams all the other rooms had been updated except maybe the last few in the corridor(we were room204 Mr and Mrs Astill). Breakfast was good and the staff were lovely A great bakers/coffee shop/bar is next door A good stay and great location once there Bathroom was just a dissapointment

Bathroom needed upgrading

The location of the hotel is fantastic - you can see the hotel from the Lido water bus terminal which made getting into the centre of Venice so quick and easy and it's a 20 min walk to the free beach on the Lido if you want a day on the beach. I'd read some other reviews about there being a mix of older and more modern rooms - not sure if this is still the case but the room we got was beautiful. The beds were exceptionally comfy, there was air conditioning, electronic shutters to keep the sun off the windows and a good amount of wardrobe space. There was a great continental breakfast with a variety of different croissants, cereals, bread, cheese, meat, yoghurt and fruit juices and a fruit salad. Would 100% recommend this hotel if you're looking for somewhere to stay outside of the main island of Venice - we will definitely be returning.

We walked off the ferry from Venice almost straight into our hotel, it was that close. The room overlooked the docking area for the ferries and then back to Venice itself, so you were really in the ‘heart’ of the action. The room was spacious and well appointed. You could open your window to the hub bub outside or close them sealing out the noise and have a good night’s sleep. The Belvedere was surrounded by some really good eating and drinking places, but also served a delicious breakfast (included in the price). The hotel staff were very helpful and obliging.

Very good location just opposite the ferry stop from Venice and at the start of the main shopping street with many restaurants and bars. Also not too far to walk to the private or public beaches. The southern beaches can easily be reached by bus also stopping opposite the hotel. The room was very modern, clean and the air condition was working wonders. Breakfast was good with a variety of food choices.

Old but nice! Rooms were fully renovated. Bathrooms also!! All personnel, especially at the reception were helpful and very kind. Safe parking. Very close to all shops and restaurants also to the vaporetos station. I fully recommend it!!!

Breakfast could be a bit better. This hotel really deserves it!
