The room was very small but very clean and comfortable- and it had a bonus private terrace :) great access to the beach, private pool and a very good breakfast. the high rating however is mostly due to the amazingly friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely go back.

Great place, very friendly staff, superb location, just few meters to the beach. Hotel is very clean, rooms were clean up every two days. Very good breakfast.

Rooms are small. But most of the time we were outside rooms, so the room size was not a problem.

On arrival the new receptionist checked us in and she was super lovely, pleasant and very helpful. She made us feel very welcome unlike at the checkout extremely rude, and seemed like a manager guy with shaded glasses, blue shirt and no blazer. He has zero customer service, treats customers like shit and clearly doesn't care about customers or hotel revenue only cares about himself not hotel. He ruined our whole experience at the end. We originally planned to come back with our family, but after this we definitely won't. Avoid this guy! The breakfast and lunch selection was very nice and fresh. The restaurant staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Our room was sea facing with a beautiful view. Lovely pool and pool area.

The MANAGER GUY at the reception at the checkout was SO RUDE on 15 July we have never experienced someone so rude on our many travels. This guy needs to leave as he is ruining the hotel's reputation. He only cares about himself, customers don't matter to him at all. The day prior checkout we reserved two sun loungers for the day of checkout by the pool priced 10euro each, but we're told on the day of checkout it was 20euro each as we were no longer hotel guests, that he made very clear. We asked why and it is apparently for use of facilities, basically, the same thing (loungers, pool, toilet). We would still need to pay for any bar service in addition as normal. He was raising his voice loudly, almost shouting, talking over us when we were speaking. So so RUDE!!! We understand some hotels have rules that they need to stick with and it is all about communication and to pleasantly explain things to customers and offer some other option, suggestion or compromise to keep customers happy. He wouldn't even let us hire towels for the beach, despite the fact that we would leave our bags in the hotel so would need to come back. Once we checked out he said to us frankly we were no guest so he couldn't care less. Absolutely shocking behaviour!!! There was another receptionist there too and she was nice and probably hoped to make some compromise like the towels but he wouldn't let her make any decisions. Seems he is also a terrible boss. Let us know when he is gone and we will happily come back. Air-conditioning in our room was very weak not cooling at all.

Location & free sunbeds on the beach, staff were very friendly, lovely breakfast

We weren't told on arrival that pool sunbeds needed to be pre-booked & paid for. We weren't told beach/pool towels needed to be paid for. We were given the wrong price for the airport transfer. Not really the hotel's fault, but there were old cranky guests who complained about kids jumping in the pool (or even splashing in the pool!) but when they did complain, I was asked to not let them jump or splash! The atmosphere was not suitable for kids...but ideal if you're grumpy 😉
