The friendliness of the staff was amazing. We truly felt spoiled throughout the stay. Breakfast buffet was great with everything fresh and plentiful (even the best soft-boiled eggs we’re had for some time). During evenings the staff exeptionally opened the terrasse for us to enjoy a goodnight drink. We were advised on great hiking trips (Meraner Höhenweg), local flea markets, and the spa (Merano Therme) which was perfect for the teenagers. Upon leaving we could enjoy the late check-out and leave the car in the garage until leaving. Hotel was in short walking distance to great downtown restaurants.

Nothing, everything was just perfect!

We have stayed at this hotel several times , the staff are friendly and welcoming and speak English. There is a bar but no restaurant breakfast is good and ample. Parking (payable) is available on site it is limited so it is best to book a place in advance. The hotel is a short walk along the riverbank from the town and numerous bars and restaurants.

The location was very convenient for travelling to Merano by train and being able to walk to town along the river promenade. The hotel is immaculate and the staff are very welcoming and provide excellent service. The breakfast was very good and used lots of local produce.

Location is great, premises are well maintained, super clean, Night Manager Daniel is super helpful and proactively will help clients organize their stay. Do not hesitate to ask him, he will help you with a smile at all times.

No coffee machine in the room.

A great room: heated well, spacious, squeaky clean, very comfortable. A functional and convenient kitchen space and a coffee machine present.

The only thing us personally could wish for is a kettle in the room.

What a perfect place to stay in Merano! We loved the location - a few minutes walk to the center where we ate at three different restaurants, all that were recommended to us by the hotel and all were fabulous. We had a car and appreciated being able to park it and still use it for day trips from the city. The pool was MUCH used as it was very hot when we were there. Breakfast was amazing - so many choices with different sweet cakes each day. This was a lovely spot and we highly recommend it!

There was nothing that didn't delight us.

The location was great, we loved having a relaxing pool with bar service, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the walk to the center of town was lovely along the river. The family who runs the hotel works hard to ensure everyone is happy.

It was a little pricey but we really enjoyed it.

All was suuuper., the room, the brekfast was very , very good..the sweets made by the lady of the house and all the staff , also the owners and their family were sooo friendly and proffesionals.The pool was an oasis in the city. In one word...WON DER FUL. Hope we can return one day and stay longer.

I highly recommend the Windsor Merano. Fantastic location — right on the river with a beautiful garden and pool, an easy walk to the thermal baths, city center or the train station. Very comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Best of all is the family who runs the hotel — so warm and welcoming. This is a great spot!
