It's a good place if you're looking for history jurney and a little mysticism. The house and room were like a time travel - an atmosphere with old pictures on the wall, dark winding corridors, history seen room floors, a grassy garden and owl wolves :). The host was kind and helpful.

We arrived in a windy and muddy weather, and the room that awaited us was a little unexpected at first. There was a cold room ahead, which we quickly got warm. The shower room had a bad smell at first, obviously the room hadn't been used for a while. The smell, fortunately, disappeared within a few hours. Not too cozy for a visit with small children but best for adventure seekers.

Can't speak highly enough about this wonderful place. I loved the atmosphere, the history and the story of the building is wonderful. We went during the winter and were pleased that the heating was great. The villa is traditional and feels like an authentic taste of Italian nobility. Salvatore was welcoming and friendly. We added breakfast and it was very copious and I loved the local biscotti. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are amazing. Well-decorated rooms and bathroom. We stayed 2 nights and really wanted to stay a 3rd but we had to leave sadly. I would highly recommend anyone to choose this wonderful villa. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Only one thing - a towel rail in our bathroom would have been useful to both warm the bathroom and keep towels dry.

Our host was lovely and did her very best with our non-existent Italian. The villa and surroundings are beautiful - with rustic charm, which we love. Breakfast was abundant, but I had to give up on trying to avoid sugar/carbs!

The bedrooms were too cold (this is early April). I'm sure that when Sicily is sizzling, this would be most welcome, but I needed 5 blanket layers to be able to sleep! Fortunately, there were lots of blankets available in the room. This is not a complaint of the B and B!

Spending our days in the villa,was just perfect! The history of the building is amazing,we felt like going back in time. Our room was so lovely and absolutely clean,the breakfast in the amazing garden is a must! Our host was so nice,told the whole story of the villa,we could even taste their own chocolate 😊 If you want a piece of heaven,you must visit this breathtaking place ❤️

A fantastic seventeenth-century villa in the Sicilian countryside! A place that makes you fall in love. Entirely renovated by a social cooperative, after being abandoned. I recommend trying their shop in the center of Modica to taste traditional sweets and other local products! Absolutely recommend for a beautiful weekend or week. Fantastic location to enjoy the tranquility of the place and its beauty.

Absolutely the best place we’ve stayed at during our trip over Sicily. Beautiful old almost abondoned villa, calm environment just with birds and lizards, perfectly clean and nice renovated interior with new furniture and bathroom. Salvatore is very kind host who showed us all the buildings and introduced the story behind them. We really enjoyed having breakfast or just reading in the courtyard under the trees, so we felt like we could spend there whole summer… Thank you!

Spacious and comforatable room, quiteness (there were not many other guests), free coffee, tideness of common spaces, private parking, nice sea views

Missing swimming pool, sunbeds or some other outdoor facilities/activities around villa. Right now there is not much to do there on top, just to use it as accommodation.

a must to do near Modica. Veritable sicilian atmosphere with guided presentation of the villa and history of it. Very helpful staff and excellent relaxing atmosphere. +. by your stay you support a fundation of the Benedictian cloister of young abandoned woman.

Very nice building, excellently refurbished. Beautiful sea view bedroom, comfortable bed. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was good and fresh.

Basically the whole villa was ours, it was amazing. Garden was beautiful, indoor was nice as well.

We had to define the time of our arrival in advance, since the owner had to travel there.
