When we arrived, we were the only guests in the hotel, so it was tranquil. There was a problem with the refrigerator, which was solved by changing the room. We were offered to move to the biggest room with two levels in the hotel, with a bedroom in the tower, and it was great. The incredible view out of the tower! To live in the house of the 12th century is very exciting.

The staff did not know English, but they were very kind. Only the hotel owner could speak with us. For some reason, you can't choose the room you want to live in; it is randomly selected on arrival. But the rooms are significantly different (the ones that we saw). And it is strange that if you are a single guest in the hotel, they don't offer the best room. Also, it is written that this is a two-bedroom apartment, which is false. It is a one-bedroom apartment with a folding couch in the kitchen, even in the largest room.

If you take the larger upper rooms: An amazing vista; lovely pool with few people in it, quietness, restaurant in the building, very friendly staff and owner

Not all rooms have hard mattresses: take the larger rooms if you like hard. There is no airco (despite that, the rooms are very well ventilated and we had a very cool room in July)

Large Beautiful room, quiet and the food and staff were amazing. Excellent knowledge of all their products and wine.

I think that the shower room needed updating, and the long road to get to the property is not tarmaced.

Very beautiful and spacious rooms in an ancient building, nice pool and a very gratious host. It is a little secluded but actually I loved that. Very quiet and in the nature. The restaurant is superb.

One minor thing: Online it said there is laundry service but there was not. A little tricky with a baby ... But in the end that ws not real problem and I definitely recommend the place.

Apartment was huge, much bigger than expected. Beautiful large pool that the kids enjoyed playing in. Plenty of outdoor space to relax. Restaurant was of such high standard. Food was gorgeous and staff so lovely and helpful. And not to mention the organic wine was amazing.

We felt like we’re in a fairytale living in a castle. Rooms are huge, clean and calm. Great dinner.

I was disturbed at 1 in the morning, when other guests arrived next door, being loud in the foyer in front of my room.

very hot and without ac they could perhaps have fans in the rooms. As all of the apartments have no direct outside space this would be a good idea.

The apartment was very clean and the pool area was pleasant.

They obviously run a successful restaurant at this agriturismo which did create a lot of noise until about 12.30am - when we requested for the noise level to be moderated at 11.30pm, we were told to 'have more patience' as it 'wasn't even midnight yet'. We would have found it helpful to know this in advance of booking hence why we're choosing to leave it in the review, in case other travellers wish to go to bed earlier as we did.
