The host Guido was very responsive to messages and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, served early and prepared quickly by his aunt. Great location with good view of the val d'orcia and amazing sunset view. Free parking spot very close to the accommodation.

The air conditioning was noisy, but we still slept well. This is more a suggestion on traveling to the accommodation rather than a negative point itself: The first time we drove to the accommodation from Florence airport, google suggested a path that has a long stretch of off-road two-way single track paths. The roads were still manageable but definitely a bit nerve-wracking if you are not used to left wheel driving or the speed of Italian cars! Definitely takes longer than the estimated time to arrive. I would suggest those who plan to travel here choose SP (strada provinciale) or autostrada (toll roads) for a more pleasurable drive.

Well kept and clean. Breakfast prepared every morning by the host. Guido was always very helpful and accommodating. Great water pressure for showering, washing,etc. Fantastic garden area at the back with lounge chairs, a large table for eating or entertaining, along with chairs around it. It is located just down a short hill to the entrance for Monticchiello. We had a large group and everyone enjoyed it. I would not hesitate to go again if we are ever back in that area.

There were no safes in the rooms. Not really an issue if you’re travelling with a group as you have everyone you know there. Each bedroom door also has individual locks, so some peace of mind there as well. But if you have a room there and don’t know anyone else staying in the other rooms, that could cause some uneasiness?

Guido and his aunt were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Guido gave us suggestions and information about the area every morning. He also was very accommodating of our dietary needs and made reservations at restaurants each day. We were very well taken care of. The room was comfortable, breakfast was excellent and the view/property were beautiful.

- Great location in a quiet picturesque hilltop town with great views of Tuscany. - Close drive to Pienza (10 mins) and Montepulciano (20 mins). - We liked how the bungalow had a kitchen in the case you felt like cooking too. - The bungalow was away from the main house which had a nice sense of privacy.

- As other have said the bed is well "worn in" and has two distinct divots from where others have laid. It wasn't uncomfortable for me surprisingly but some people may find it difficult to sleep. - The breakfast option was not as good as other B&Bs we stayed out during our trip.

Beautiful little cottage on a cute property. Stunning views of the sunset. The old town of Monticchiello is a 50m walk up the street. There is a lovely restaurant to enjoy the sunset over the Tuscan hills. The free parking area is literally 20m from the property and is very safe. The property is all very central to the other villages which are easily accessible if you have a car. There are a few wine farms that do tastings in the area and they were all very accommodating. We only spent a night in Montichiello but did an afternoon trip to Pienza which is very close by - Would definitely recommend! One of the best sunsets I’ve seen.

Not accessible by train so you would definitely need to hire a car.

Guido was exceptionally helpful throughout out entire stay. From making dinner recommendations/reservations at local restaurants, to arranging for EBike Rentals, to getting us a Taxi for our return trip. He and the entire staff exceeded our expectations. He made our trip to Tuscany easy, and extraordinary. Breakfast was delicious.

Nothing. We couldn't be happier. We would recommend this location to everyone.

The manager was really nice and helpful, we prepared a surprise for our friend's birthday and he helped us to "plot". He waited us late in the evening, thank you so much for that ! The guesthouse is clean and nicely decorated, the view is also beautiful.

Breakfast options could be improved a bit.

We spent 3 lovely days here in Monticchiello. It felt heavenly. The welcome, the property, the location couldn't have been better. The views of the valley across to Pienza were mind bogglingly spectacular. And then we had breakfast the first morning. Great coffee, fruits, yoghurt, toast, bacon and eggs and baked goods to start each day. The water pressure, air conditioning and WiFi were all so good. This will be our go to place to stay in this part of Tuscany in the future. Thank you Guido and Zia for such an enjoyable stay.

There was nothing not to like.

This place was such a magical place to stay! We unfortunately arrived late and only had one night but would have loved longer. The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfy. Guido was so helpful at arranging a reservation at a restaurant for us. The breakfast was fantastic! Fresh baked goods, scrambled eggs and bacon, fresh fruit juice, yoghurt, cappuccino! All outside with a stunning view over the Tuscan hills. It had such a lovely family feel and the hospitality was exceptional. The town of Monticchielo is so beautiful too; we had a fantastic stay here and so grateful for the warm welcome.

Guido was super welcoming. He made sure the heating was on so that our room was nice and toasty when we arrived. We were in the area seeing our wedding venue and this stay made our weekend and extra special. Breakfast was home-made and plentiful and we had private parking available. Would definitely come back/recommend to others.
