Everything about this hotel is exceptional. If you only have 8 hours in Naples, stay here. It is without doubt the most amazing hotel I have ever stayed in. It is an actual, perfectly preserved Neapolitan palace. The decor is authentic, and amazing. The rooms are beyond fabulous, there are frescoes on the walls, and incredible chandeliers in every room. Fredericka who was on reception etc was just amazing, so helpful, and knowledgable about the property. I cannot stress this enough, if you can, stay here.

Our biggest regret is having to leave Palazzo Doria. This place is out of this world incredible. It’s like nothing you’ll ever stay in again in your life. We truly felt privileged being here and are still counting our lucky stars to the fact we were able to get a room. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable, they spoil you and a fully stocked mini bar included in the stay, just topped it off. We’ve been travelling for 5 weeks throughout Europe and booked this an hour before arriving in Naples, for ‘a bed to sleep in’ before we commence our journey home- do not do this! It was by far the best accomodation we’ve had the pleasure of staying at. Dedicate a few days just to enjoy this place. Naples is an underrated area full of culture and honestly the most genuine Italian people you’ll meet anywhere throughout your journey. Thankyou Palazzo Doria. We will be back!

Absolutely LOVED staying here! The detail of the decor, accessibility, convenient location, incredible amenities.. everything was perfect down to the tiny details. The staff were prompt and attentive, and made check in/check out super easy as well. 10/10 experience and will definitely be coming back, an absolute must when visiting Naples!

We were treated like royalty from the moment that we entered the Palazzo. Sipping a delightful Prosecco during the check-in process was just one of the wonderful details that enriched our experience. Walking through the meticulously restored common rooms from the 1800's was transportive to a more refined time and standing on the balcony from which Garibaldi delivered his 1860's address to Naples strengthened the ties with the Palazzo's historical past and the sense of immersion in a truly magnificent period of history. We had two rooms on the Nobel floor--both of which were exquisitely decorated. Danilo and Alfredo were the consummate hosts. Always ready to brew an espresso, mix an Aperol spritz, arrange a cab, or suggest a restaurant, there was no detail or amount of assistance that they weren't prepared to offer. Their courtesy and professionalism enhanced the beauty of the Palazzo and transformed what might have been a cold museum-like experience into an enchanting memory.

The property is a historical palace and is beautiful! The room was large and comfortable. Ours had a small bathroom but I didn't mind it all, it was cozy. The host/owner was present and a very nice, accommodating and generous person. Inside the room there are snacks and drinks included with the room rate. The breakfast was standard fare and adequate and presented in a beautiful room where you will feel like royalty. The staff were very helpful and friendly. This will be our place to stay every time we visit Napoli. You are also in the center of town and walking distance to the main areas.

Danilo and the other hosts did a great job at informing us about the facilities, the history and provided an excellent service in terms of breakfast and drink refills in the fridge. The conditioning was great - even though outside was going up to +36 degrees, the interior was very relaxing a d cold. Excellent place if You admire 18th century architecture and interior design.

All was great! Will definately return. Would be a great idea to also make it available to the public in some way so that people can learn about the building without needing to stay the night.

From the second you arrive you will be impressed. Everything is fantastic, and every time we went in and out, we saw something new and interesting,. The room was incredibly beautiful and well appointed, even with free drinks and snacks. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were very accommodating. Very central lpcation in the beati g heart of Naples. Would definitely return.

If you are a light sleeper, make use of the high-quality ear plugs provided, which really block out the hustle and bustle of Naples. Also make a note of the emergency contact number when you arrive just in case you need to contact someone out of hours (like we did because someone left the lift door open and you couldn't call it after the reception had left forbthe day, and we did not realise we could get in throughthe side door on the 1st floor) other than that book a few nights because you will want to stay as long as possible.

What a pleasant experience to go back in time and live like a royal in a palace where Garibaldi once stayed and declared the united Italy. The palace is a masterpiece filled with antiques. It never gets boring staying there no matter how long you stay. The bed we were sleeping in belonged to a bishop more than three hundred years ago. The owners and staff are local and extremely kind, helpful, and respectful. The fact that they have only 10 rooms makes the stay even more special.

It was an authentic experience and we didn't mind much but the room we had was by the main street and was noisy at night. Earplugs were provided by the hotel which we used. The historical nature of the place makes it impossible to do anything about the noise.

Everything! The room and the common areas are all beautiful. It's like staying in a real-life palace! The room is lovely. Spacious, with beautiful ceiling fresco, seriously beautiful. All the decor and furniture matches the theme perfectly. A lot of complimentary drinks and snacks, both in the room and in the salon. The breakfast room is breathtaking. The selection is copious and well thought out, and pretty too! With lots of Neapolitan cakes and sweets. The tomatoes and fruits are marvelous. The service was perfect. Frederica and Danielo were most friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They took care of us very well and helped with our requests with kindness and enthusiasm.
