How often does a person get the opportunity to stay in a 16th century palace? Well this is a former palace, wonderfully clean and centrally located to the city center and many of the piazzas in Novara. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. It is a small hotel, which adds to the reason it is so quiet and peaceful. Our room overlooked the central courtyard and we opened the windows at night to enjoy the fresh air and evening sounds. We will definitely consider staying in this location again. The breakfast was perfect offering of Italian meats, yogurt, pastries, and breads.

The only issue is attempting to navigate a car in the narrow brick streets to get to the hotel and then pulling into the courtyard. But overall no other issues.

The location is absolutely fantastic. Nestled right in the heart of the city, it’s within walking distance to all the major attractions and good restaurants. The building itself is charming and well-maintained, blends beautifully with the surrounding architecture. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Our experience was soured by the attitude of the staff. Despite already paying a premium for parking, I was surprised when they requested an additional fee for extending my parking by just a few hours. This seemed unnecessary, especially given that there were free parking spaces. While the hotel’s location and building are top-notch, the staff’s approach to customer service and the cramped bathroom space could certainly use some improvement.

The historic building is being converted into a comfortable hotel. The cleanliness of the rooms was really good. The beds were really comfortable. The walk to the city is very convenient. The parking was also very good for an extra 10 EUR. The breakfast was really good choice and refreshing. Our room was also supplied with ear plugs which were needed.

Rooms close to the staircase were really noisy as the staircase doors are shutting really loudly. The main gate also noisy in the night as late comers arrive by car. The street side rooms, although the street is really beautiful, are really noisy because of the pebble pavement which the cars drive on. Fortunatley they provided ear plugs in the bathroom toilettry. The offer contained balconies to our rooms. It turned out on arrival that was dependent on availability and the hotel has only 1 room with balcony.

Clean and comfortable rooms. I really like the breakfast included. A lot of places charge for it separately and it can be expensive for a family. The food was also of good quality. Central location in the city center. Great parking space inside the hotel gate

The hotel is ideally located at the heart of the city, in a historic building. The reception was very friendly and fast addressing our inquiries. WiFi had a good connection. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.

The family room has some very strange planning and the breakfast could have been more abundant, otherwise everything was perfect and value for money was exceptional. Will probably stay at the same hotel when I am around.

The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the centre of the city. The rooms are very clean and refurbished, the mattress very comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped. They offered us a bottle of water as well as tea and coffee inside the room. One big advantage is that the room was very warm.The breakfast was various and of good quality. Marco, the receptionist was more than polite and helpful!

The hotel was clean and in a great location. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice of food and drink and was ideal before checking out for travel to Malpensa airport. Big family room with a separate room for our children.

The reception opened at 7.30am. We had been requested to pay tourist tax at reception before leaving to catch our train at 8.10am. However, the receptionist was not at the desk and we had to ask the restaurant staff to assist. It got sorted although was not ideal when we were rushing off to catch a train.

Historical place. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast included choice of cheese, yogurt and fruits amongst others. Great dining at Piccarello Osteria down the street.

One of the rooms was very hot because the fan did not work properly. We found out too late to ask for a solution (reception is closed at night).

The hotel is right in the core center of Novara, so you can walk anywhere you want. It’s also really close to the station in case you want to take the train to Milan or anywhere else. The architecture of the place is really cute and historical, which is a real plus. And the staff at the reception is really nice !

The fan was really loud, cannot be used while sleeping, a little leak in the shower, and the housekeeping lady was a bit rude…

The young girl in the reception is not of much use. Her explanation about the rooms was difficult to understand. Furthermore, she recommended us two resttaurants that were closed on the Sunday evening we visited Novara. A lot of noise from cars in the street
