Evening meals start too late fir my US clients & dessert is not served until 10:15-10:30pm Also a 25 Euro cork fee was told to my client AFTER his bottle was opened, while the night before at Osteria Aquacheta in Montepulciano a 1.5 Euro cork fe was charged.

We stayed 2 nights and had 1 dinner here, and now I think we should have stayed more nights here and had dinner for all nights during our stay. All the staff were super kind and professional, the food was really fresh. And it has breathtaking view of Tuscany field where you can enjoy from the front yard. What we agreed unanimously was that among all the dinners we have had during our 3 week vacation from Swotzerland to Italy, dinner here was the best in terms of beautiful sun set over the golden field, lively chattet with other friendly guests, entertaining and soothing music from the speaker, and delicious food made from fresh material. I miss there already.
When you have dinner in the yard, you'd better wear long trousers to protect your legs from the mosquitos. As South Koreans, we couldn't have long vacation and also had to fly long distance to Italy, so we tended to stay short nights in 1 place and move on. But this place deserves to stay longer nights to refreh you soul and body completely.

Where to begin!? Three nights at Podere Spedalone is nowhere near enough! We are already planning our return! The entire staff - and the owners - should be commended for the great amount of care that they put into making a stay at Podere Spedalone the most enjoyable experience. The meals (and aperitivo!) were incredible and a heck of a lot of fun, the winery visits that they helped us arrange were top-notch, and the accommodations and grounds were just stunning and impeccable. If you are looking for a beautiful place to eat well, sleep like a baby, and make new friends, this is definitely the place for you!

We travelled there with friends to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. Neither of us had ever stayed at a farm/agriturismo place before and this place was incredible! It is an old stone monastery and amazing is so many ways....extremely friendly staff, beautiful rooms, great views of the vineyards/farm/hills, and wonderful dinners. We took a cooking class that was great fun. Roti the chef was so helpful and funny. We had an opportunity to watch them harvest the olive trees, then took a walk around the property and saw their pet goats and chickens. Before dinner, there is always an appertivo hour where everyone congregates before dinner. You chat with everyone, have some champagne and delicious fresh bites. Dinner immediately follows and everyone sits at long farm style tables. The whole vibe is comforting and friendly. We met great people from all over the world! We all said we go back in a heartbeat. It was perfectly located between Montalcino and Montepulciano, and Pienza.

Stunning setting with a warm friendly atmosphere and wonderfully helpful and polite staff. The rooms were well proportioned and adequately equipped.
Dinner time falls late if you have children. The concept of the communal dinner is lovely, but our kids just couldn’t make it till the end.

Very serene location with beautiful views. The main house has loads of character. Rooms were charming however our unit was up a flight of rocky stairs. Difficult without help with suitcases. Our shared living space was so cute. Breakfast was beyond amazing and the staff were extremely friendly. Friendly roosters to remind you to get up in the morning. I would definitely return.
Pool located out of reach for person with mobility issues. Lots of areas on grounds to explore but same mobility issues…we booked dinner one evening and were not wowed by the food after reading excellent reviews. The secondi plate was a stew with three meats. The pork in this dish was dry and inedible. The rest was fine. The pre dinner appetizers were very good. Although there was a kitchenette in our shared living room space, we could not have access to the fridge. None the less, we would return!

There is no doubt that this is the most beautiful place. The setting is absolutely breathtakingly idyllic and charmingly rustic. The food was delicious and the kitchen was the Tuscan farmhouse kitchen of dreams. Dave the owner was so helpful in answering every question and went above and beyond as were the rest of the staff. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.
In this day and age, in 35+ degree heat, aircon really is essential, regardless of whether it detracts from the authentic nature of the property. Although our stay was really wonderful, the lack of sleep due to the extreme temperatures in the bedrooms at night definitely detracted from the overall enjoyment.

Property offered plenty to do, great views, quiet and relaxing grounds. We stayed for a week. Staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Was like spending time with friends and family! Breakfast, lunch and group aperitivo and dinners were fun. Great food with everyday being a new and exciting surprise with tastes, flavors and food pairings. Met People from all over the world during our stay. Would recommend to anyone. One suggestion, don’t limit yourself to only a night or two. lol

what a place! we had incredible two nights here. Beautiful panoramic views over the val d'orcia facing the sunset. The whole team was very welcoming and kind but the real discovery was the dinner in the restaurant - it was incredible! one of the best food experience we had during our 2 weeks trip in Italy. we would definitely come back again

The views were stunning, the location was peaceful, the design was beautiful, and it was very close to nature.
The requirement to pay a deposit of 300 euros was unexpected, as there was no mention of it on Booking. This should have been clearly communicated in advance. Additionally, I feel this amount is quite excessive. The lack of a kettle and fridge in the room was a bit inconvenient, but it was mentioned beforehand, so I don't have any complaints about that. The breakfast was good, but it was the same every day – a little variety would be nice.
