The staff were lovely, very helpful and spoke very good english. The hotel was very nice with a lovely garden and terrace. The location was perfect for accessing the ruins, and local bars and restaurants - everything within easy walking distance, and only a stones throw from the train station.

The only criticism would be the noise within the bedroom. It was as if guests in adjoining rooms were in the bedroom with us - paper thin walls and hard tiled floors resulted in us hearing every conversation and movement from others which did affect our ability to sleep, so ear plugs are recommended. This was a real shame as otherwise it would have been perfect (we were on 2nd floor of the new part) so we would stay again but take earplugs with us to overcome this flaw

When I tell you how amazing this hotel location and staff were, I am not exaggerating! I did a solo backpacking trip from Italy to London. I am not paid by the hotel nor booking.com, I am just giving an honest review. The front desk employee named Claudia went above and beyond to help me get from Pompeii to London. She 100% deserves a raise on how helpful she was in helping me to get to where I needed to go. She was so kind and patient with me, she looked at so many options to get to London, looking up trains, flights, and busses for me. Calculated the times to ensure everything lined up. Found me the cheapest way to get to London and sent me on my way. Maybe the rooms are a little old fashioned, but they were very clean and the hotel itself was very nice. I would 100% stay here again and will highly recommend this hotel to all my friends, family, and strangers who are heading to Pompeii! Thank you so much Claudia! You truly made this trip and experience great!

the rooms can use a little updating, but honestly, nothing bad.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was a problem with heat in the bathroom at first, but they jumped right on that and fixed it. The back garden is a lovely place to sit and relax after an exhausting day of hiking around Pompeii.

The entrance to the parking lot is very narrow, and cars parked on the street make it impossible to approach it at a good angle. It’s fine if you have a very small car. Our full sized van for the family made it very difficult. Fortunately, there are two or three spaces on the street in front of the hotel.

Location was perfect for our plans to explore Naples, Herculaneum, Pompeii, and Sorrento. Easy train access to these locations and we could beat the crowds coming in from Naples. Good breakfast selection maintained by attentive staff. Reception staff were helpful with taxi arrangements and general local advice.

I think this is just a normal thing in hotels in Italy, but there is almost no space in the bathroom to put your things. I advise bringing a hanging toiletry bag to help with this.

The whole experience was the best in our European leg of our RTW trip. The rooms were excellent. The staff very friendly and accommodating. Nice garden for an aperitif and a great restaurant recommendation. Garum around the corner, where Giovanni runs a great place. Next morning a quick 1300m walk to tge meeting point for our Pompeii tour.

We had expected twin beds, but the room was a double. Because the rooms were very reasonably priced at €75 I bought a second room for my son for our last night in Italy.

We have visited Pompei 3 times in the past 10 years and have stayed at Hotel Diana every time. The location is great if travelling by train, it's only a few metres from the regional train station and has a free car park if travelling by car - we've done both. Getting around the area is easy on foot or using public transport. An excellent choice of breakfast items and really friendly staff. We booked a superior room - a bit bigger for a small additional cost. All staff were really friendly and helpful

A minor point - Whilst there a flask of Americano coffee is available in the breakfast room for self service, a coffee machine for espresso / cappuccino etc would be ideal too.

The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great! Even provided hot chocolate upon request. Very close to the train and staff was very helpful in helping us get a cab, fix a minor Air Conditioning issue and relocating us quickly to a new room when we couldn't get the elevator to work to go up to our floor. I must say the staff was amazing!

Location is hard to find. It is located in an alley and using GPS took us to a totally different area of the city.

Locations excellent. Lots of place to eat nearby. Enjoy the fact that it had parking there so I felt safe leaving my car in the area. I didn’t have to search for. it is within walking distance as well. Most tourists want to see staff was amazing.

We got a three person (triple) room and it’s too small for that. There was no room in there for luggage. We ended up getting a second room just so we can fit. Shower is a little bit small. Overall, however, it was great stay.

The other reviews were correct. Super friendly and helpful staff, and the location is perfect. It is close to the center and the ruins of Pompei, but somehow it is off the main street and has its own parking. I just parked in their lot and for two days forgot about traffic and problems finding parking while I walked all over the city. The room wasn't the fanciest and on the smaller side but the air conditioning and wifi were great. Very good value. Just what I was looking for. I liked it so much, I stayed an extra day.

Quiet. Comfortable. Private on site parking in a lovely garden area behind the hotel. Close to archeological park through downtown streets..felt very safe walking at night. Staff available for minor glitch requiring battery change in air conditioning remote control. Delicious breakfast provided. Highly recommend.

Everything was great. Nice that small bar at reception open for a late night lemoncello after a visit to the park. .
