Diego, the host, was one of the nicest people we met on our whole trip. He was friendly and helpful in every way, and offered to help us make all kinds of arrangements. The room was the most clean of any we stayed in, and the kitchen was well stocked and furnished.

The room was quite small for 6 people. The pictures of the larger room that we stayed in did not include photos of 2 of the beds, so it made the room look a little bigger than it was. It was probably better for 4 people than 6. It was also a bit of a walk to get to all the shops, restaurants, and Pompeii ruins.

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, providing an exceptional service. You can instantly tell they are proud of the work they do which made my stay in Pompeii that extra special. An extra note on the breakfast, it was amazing! Plentiful and delicious, kept me going throughout the day. I could not have asked for more. Access to free hot drinks, water and juice was an added bonus I did not expect but kindly appreciated. Size of bed, room, bathroom and additional facilities were plenty for an individual like myself, would be more than enough for 2 I feel like.

Diego and Virginia are the most wonderful host we ever met. You can feel the love they have for hosting their guests. The rooms were very clean. It smelled fantastic. The breakfast was the best we ever got in the whole of Italië. The cappuccino Diego made was outstanding. They thought of every detail, such as a big bottle of water by arrival, many bathroom accessories. Good recommendations of where to go for a diner, and trips to see the best of Pompeii’s ruïnes. The hygiene is from a very high standard. It’s definitely cleaner than my house at home. A good parking space is available. The apartment is at the second floor, to reach only by stairs, no elevator available. We had a very comfortable, nice and lovely time at Nolana 86. The BEST B&B we ever booked in Italy.

Our stay at Nolana '86 was very nice. The owner was the perfect host! He was so friendly and helpful and gave a lot of interesting information, it was really nice talking to him. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast, taken on the rooftop terasse, was the perfect start in the day. There is a parking space and you walk to the city center in 10 minutes and to the ruins in 20. I can warmly recommend this B&B to everyone visiting Pompeji. I would surely come back!

Nolana '86 is a gem of a location in Pompeii. The facility is out of the main tourist hub. This is great if you want to avoid the crowds and street noise. However, it is only a 5 minute walk to reach the tourist area with all of its shops and restaurants. The real stars of this location are Diego and Mario. These guys run this B and B with great pride. It was clean, modern, they personally met us upon our arrival and provided breakfast each day. It was a traditional B & B experience.

The roof top garden is wonderful, and you can make hot drinks in the breakfast area. Nolana is very welcoming and makes a relaxing base. It’s a spacious room and we slept well. Diego is unobtrusive but keen to make sure your stay goes well, offering a choice of Italian pastries. It’s very near the Pompei (Sanctuary) train station and an easy (less than 10 minutes) walk to the Pompeii ruins gate near the amphitheatre. We walked about 25 minutes to get to our tour at the main gate but it’s an easy straightforward walk. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

There are stairs up to the property but it’s 3rd floor location is also a bonus

Diego, our host was wonderful. He made coffee for us every morning with breakfast to match our diet. Even when we had to leave super early, he gave us ‘coupons’ to get breakfast at the coffee place across the street. The view from the patio was fantastic! And walking distance to the ruins and the train. What a nice host!! My wife and I can’t say enough to how kind he is. We didn’t have a car but the train was so close, not an issue .

Nicest staff ever! sooo accommodating! breakfast in the morning was absolutely perfect, by far best complimentary breakfast experience I’ve had even if it wasn’t continental (typical Italian breakfast which I preferred!). View from the room was stunning and the common area. Very nice kitchen, terrace, and lounge available to guests all the time. Location is very close to the Amphitheater entrance to Pompeii and the main train station (not the Pompei station tho). Room was very clean and toiletries very well stocked! Amazing value

beds were a tad firm and uncomfy but we still slept perfect so no issues there, was a bit of stairs to get up with bags and the window opens up to the walkway so didn’t leave it open overnight but otherwise no problems!

Apartment is walking distance to Pompeii archelogical site. Diego and his cousin have high hospitality. We loved the location very much. From the apartment, it is possible to reach nearby coasts like Amalfi, Positana and Sorrento. I highly recommend this apartment. Thank you for everything.

The kitchen was in common use. Maybe a seperate kitchen can be done.
