The check-in is in the nearby Hotel Posta which was seamless and I was then escorted to the Albergo which is down a narrow side street. The room was excellent and very spacious. the room was on the second flor and accessed by a lift. The location could not be better or more central - lovely city. I had a very early check-out and didn't take breakfast so cannot comment on it.

The location is outstanding and the receptionist very kind and professional; I was lucky to have my room in the historical building (the booking reservation was for the other building) probably because I travelled a working day, low season. The atmosphere in this ancient palazzo is very nice, all points of interest within a few step (and I walked from the train station, about 15 minutes). My room was not very big, but perfect for a one night stay alone. Very good breakfast with wide selection of salty food and home made cakes.

Beautiful settings, the room was decorated nicely. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Bed was large and comfortable.

Dropped off towels when someone in the room instead of cleaning (one guest home sick). This may have been COVID related.

Good location - in the city center. Private parking available. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Within walking distance to everything. Good for one night. We were on our way from Switzerland to Tuscany, Italy.
