The room was spacious and in a prime location, just a 5-minute walk to the train station. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, advising us about potential safety risks in the metro and trains. They also kindly kept our luggage safe after check-out until we left the property.

The property lacks soundproofing, so you can hear a lot of noise from the street. Additionally, we found some hairs in our towels, though they appeared clean and smelled fresh, so this may have been an issue from the laundry.

As a students I want to visit lots of countries and dont spend thousands. This is one of the best places in Rome, that offers a lot. Its a bedroom with a bathroom. (private). Many places offer private rooms but they are bunk beds not king size. And with a public bathroom. The room is also fitted with a TV! After we came they offered to clean my room which i didnt expect. but it was nice they can do it too. They also offered me a coffe but I unfortunately didnt had time to stop by. (We usually had breakfast in town). They also recommended me a place 200 meters from Toffa Place called Peri Peri and he was also a very good guy. Geniunely. I 10/10 recommend.

Nothing! everything went as planned

- The location is excellent and in a safe area - Exceptional staff that helped us when we needed - Clean and comfy rooms

- For us was not disturbing but they enter into the room every morning without asking. We think they should ask first about that but as we said we didn’t care - The street is not noisy but the rooms have no soundproofing and that is a pity. That’s the main improvement point. We travel with ear plugs just in case and you should do so too!

The people were very friendly, and helped us with some questions. The location is very accessible with many means of transport and it is easy to get to any place :)

The tax was too high, there was no heating, the door to the room did not look very secure and the towels were not changed :/

There is no food at Toffa Place although it was advertised. Breakfast cafe 4 blocks away suggested by hotel was expensive and not good. The restaurant next to the hotel was excellent. The hotel does not provide food as advertised. There is no bar or communal area where guests can relax in the evening. Basically this is not a hotel but holiday rooms although satisfactory for a short stay and is conveniently located for visiting the city.

Staff were friendly and considerate but there was no information available on visiting sights or travel possibilities. Some leaflets and maps would have been useful.

I had a great experience at Toffa Place in Rome! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and welcoming. The staff was very helpful and friendly throughout my stay. The cost-benefit ratio is excellent, definitely worth it. In addition, the location of the hostel is simply perfect. It's possible to walk to several amazing tourist spots in Rome. I was able to visit many tourist locations on foot, such as the Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi, the Roman Forum, and the Pantheon. Overall, I would recommend this hostel to anyone who wants a pleasant and affordable stay in Rome. It's a great place to stay while exploring this historic and beautiful city.

Comfy and clean beds, linen. Shower pressure and temperature excellent. Very warm welcome, detailed assistance and recommendations for local transportation. Was able to accommodate baggage storage for early arrivals and late departures. VERY close to Termini.

Really nothing unexpected. The street noise may bother some. 'Upcharge' for AC not an issue we didn't need it.

The location was excellent, right beside the main train station in Rome so it was very easy to get to and from the airport and tourist attractions. We checked in late in the evening which was no problem and we were able to leave our bags in the reception area on our check out day and collect them when we were ready to leave. The host was very nice and pleasant. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall I would say we got good value for money.

The heating was on in the room all day and night which was a bit uncomfortable after a while and we had to leave the window open. The hotel has no sign outside, it is basically just a big brown door in the middle of the street and although we felt safe when we got into the property, it didn’t look very reassuring from the outside, especially at night time. The city tax has to be paid in cash which wasn’t stated when booking, and since we didn’t bring any cash with us, it was a bit of an inconvenience.

The location was perfect. We were in walking distance to all major monuments of the city

The property wasn’t that bad, they could’ve clean it in the details, but as a whole it was okay for its money

Location was awesome, room was cozy. Nothing special, not a room I'd spend hours in. But if you like to be out and about all day and have everything within relative walking distance and have a central place to come back to at night, it's great.

This sounds like a small thing but the main lights in the room were BRIGHT white and there were no lamps as an alternative... A small lamp with a softer yellow light or if that's too much, just changing the main light to a softer bulb would do so much to help the ambience or cozyness of the room!
