The location was perfect, nestled in a peaceful residential area of Rome with authentic Italian restaurants nearby. All of the sights of Rome were in walking distance. The host, Stefano was brilliant. He was thoroughly attentive and provided lots of useful advice on how to get around, what to see and where to eat. Stefano even booked us a car to the airport the day before we were due to leave. We would thoroughly recommend and will definitely stay here again when in Rome.

We stayed in Cassiodoro19 in June 2023 and loved it. The host was very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations of food and activities to do in Prati and Rome - he spent almost an hour with us - this was very appreciated. The food recommendations he gave us were top notch and I’ve never eaten better carbonara and gelato in my life! The bed was comfortable and the location of the property was not far from all the attractions. An added bonus is that the property is very close to the Vatican City so if you are planning to go there early in the morning you can just walk from the apartment.

The rooms and bathroom are a bit dated and could be renovated in time.

Location and the reception was good. Room was suitably furnished. Staff were responsive and helpful.

Furniture was dated and two single beds were provided due to a misunderstanding at time of booking.

The property was clean and perfect for our last 2 nights in Rome! Francesco was a great host, he recommended places to eat and the Best gelato place! My birthday happened to be the day we checked in and he gave us a bottle of champagne! He was really the best, the place was a little bit of heaven! The Vatican was a short walk. We loved it and would stay there again if we venture back to Rome! Thank you so much! Great find!!

Stefano was was a fantastic host. So kind, thoughtful and brilliant local tips for food/drink and walking routes. The area is great, close to the Vatican, only a short walk from everywhere you'd want to be. The room and street were super quiet. Nice nearby bars and restaurants. Excellent shower, very comfy bed.

The soundproofing between the bedrooms wasn't great.

At Cassiodoro19 all our expectations where exceeded. Spacious rooms, ice cold AC to battle that summer heat and its also located in a safe quiet residential area. Im was very happy with the service provided by Francesco and Benedetta, great communication through WhatsApp. Outstanding place 100/10.

The location is good. The area seems relatively safer and surrounded by good bars and restaurants. The host is full of information about Rome. He showed everything on the map we need to see in Rome. He is like a tourist information point:)

It might be good if the room has a coffee machine and a big mirror on the wall.

We were very happy with our choice to stay here. Great location. We walked everywhere we wanted to go (Colosseum, Vatican, Trevi Fountain etc) A very welcome from Stèfano and excellent communication. Listen to his recommendations of walking routes and restaurants. All very useful! Handy to have the kitchenette and tea/coffee supplies We will be back!

-Stefano is super kind and helpful, without his recommendation we may not be able to enjoy that much our time at Roma, he recommended us some restaurants and how to visit the city, just like he said the whole Roma is a living museum, we like it so much! -The room is super comfortable, the decorations is warm, even tea and coffee were prepared for us to take. -The location is good, like in the middle between Roma central area and Vatican, although is a little bit far from Colosseum, but like what I have mentioned you will not feel tired to walk in this city, everything you see will surprise you. Certainly, if you are not a walking lover, the bus stop and metro is just a few steps away, you will be fine to get home and city sites easily. Overall, it really worth what I paid, highly recommended!

Stefano was a brilliant host. He made us feel so welcome.He took the time to sit down & give us recommendations for our stay in Rome many which we used and were great and rare for a host to be so helpful. He was there to answer any questions we had & arranged our transport to and from the airport which was great. The place was really clean & walking distance to all the main attractions and centre of Rome which was brilliant, we didn’t have to take the metro or bus once. Would stay here again if visiting Rome and would recommend to anyone looking to stay somewhere in a good location with a homely feel.
