The lovely man at reception and the other lady that was also there. They were very welcoming and the man enjoyed our attempts at speaking Italian (although his English was perfect). We were also allowed to store our backpacks at the hotel after we had checked out. We had a room with shared bathroom but were pleasantly surprised to find a shower and basin in our room which was brilliant! The shower even had a radio built into it! Location was great for exploring Rome and we were able to find restaurants and cafes nearby that didn’t feel like “tourist traps”.

Being able to walk everywhere and easily return to pick up our bags before a short stroll to the train station made exploring Rome a breeze. The staff's attentiveness, especially during our late arrival due to a delayed flight, made us feel genuinely welcomed. The fact that they were there waiting for us and even went the extra mile to store our bags exemplifies the level of service that sets your hotel apart. The decision to store our bags was a perfect solution, and it allowed us to immerse ourselves in the charm of Rome without any encumbrances. The ease with which we could retrieve our belongings and make our way to the train station in just a few minutes added to the overall convenience of our stay. While the immediate vicinity may be typical of a bustling city near a train station, your hotel provided a sanctuary of tranquility. The comfort and quality of sleep we experienced were exactly what we needed after a long day of exploration.

Ideal location close to Rome central station and several tourist atttactions. Good value for money and good service from the staff. I was able to store my bag after checkout which made my final day in Rome and departure easier. I would stay here again.

Wifi connection in the room wasn't great except when sitting close to the door/corridor. However, I didn't visit the Eternal City for the wifi and this was a minor inconvenience.

Great staff! They were very friendly and welcoming. After our checkout, they allowed us to store our luggage for a few more hours. Very good location; 3 minutes to the train station, 15-20 minutes walking distance to the Colosseum. Despite facing a fairly busy street, our room was very quiet. A fan was also provided.

One of the two plugs seemed a bit worse for wear. The main door can only be accessed by buzzing reception, which made us feel sorry for the staff who had to stay available in the late hours.

it’s a simple but clean familiar hotel, almost in front of Termini station. The staff is friendly and helpful, they even allowed me to check in before as the room was empty and I arrived very early and tired, it was very kind.

the bed could be a little bit more comfortable and an air conditioner would be nice.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Waited for us past the check in time. Thank you so much and appreciated the patience. The room was spacious and there's a sink and shower inside. Toilet is separated and is also clean. Toiletries provided. Room is airconditioned and there's a lift in the building. The location is very central. A little walk to termini station. For a night is very much okay.

The bed is a little uncomfortable, it's springy and a little loud whenever you move? You can hear everything outside. Everything is old but functional

I had a nice time staying at the Hotel Gloria. The owners were very accomodating and hospitable, you will feel like you are staying as a guest in their home. Highly recommended and will definitely come back. Location: Just 3 mins away from Termini, the location is unbeatable. With Rome's public transport, it is always a good idea to have the Termini as base as you are in the centre of everything. Termini has a reputation of being shady at night, however, due to the hotel's close proximity - literally across the street - there are police patrolling everywhere. I have left early morning and also late at night and I felt safe. Ambiance: It is like a homestay. It is as though you are staying with a local family. The hotel might be dated, but it adds to the charm of the place. Cleanliness and facilities: Even though it is a small homestay, I was surprised by the cleanliness and the room. Basic accomodations, but in a city like Rome where you spend most of your time outdoors, this is exactly what you need. The beds are confortable, there are blankets and a duvet plus they have extra pillows. Though the restroom is shared, I never had issues of it being occupied by other tenants. Good size room and very close to train station. There was a shower in the actual bedroom which was interesting. The building is old which accounts for a lot of the noise and general state. This might put some people off but I think this adds to the Rome experience.

It would have been nice to have been able to take our key with us as you have to leave it at reception. But that wasn’t an issue.

All was perfect. Great location if you are on transit. Close to the biggest train station from which you can take direct buses to both Aeroports. Walking distance to the main sites. Friendly owners. You can left your laggedge before checking and after check-out (which was very helpful to me). Good Wi-Fi, everything was fine

Please, keep in mind there is some noise from outside. It very good matrass, but packed in cellophane for storage that rustles loudly when you move. If you sleep restlessly, there may be discomfort

The room was very clean, we were provided clean towels. The shared bathroom was clean and completed with a shower with hot running water. Definitely recommend opening the windows for fresh air and a beautiful view of the area. The hotel was central and reasonably close to everything. Only a 200m walk to the train station. We ate ate a lovely restaurant which was only a 2 min walk from Gloria’s. Luca and Anita were very hospitable and friendly. The hotel signage was very small and a bit hard to locate. The key to the room was also fiddly but we eventually discovered the trick. Overall, our stay was pleasant.
