I loved the place, location is imo perfect if you are travelling as a family. I was staying with my parents in two rooms on different floors and we also had a small dog. There is a large green park 3 minutes from the hotel, metro station is about 6 minutes away and you can get to the colloseum without any changes in about 15-20. There is also a bus stop right out the hotel door which you can take to Vatican and be there in about 30 minutes. There are many nice restaurants around the neighbourhood as well for your suppers, we enjoyed Gran Sasso family restaurant. I liked being a bit away from the city center as it is very busy at most times, in this hotel we had immediate access to all of the sites via transport but had the quiet nights and a nice park to walk our family pet. Apart from the location the staff were stellar with their everyday help and rooms were always clean (no bed bugs to worry about). It got a bit chilly on one of the days and the staff provided us with spare heaters and a warm blanket.

You can see from the view outside that the windows are overlooking an intersection, I do have to mention that in the busiest hours in the morning and at night it did get a bit loud, which can be an issue for some. It did not really matter to me so much but for any light sleepers you can ask for a room with windows into the courtyard

The room was above my expectations and I really appreciated the daily cleaning. Staff were also really friendly. Great access to the city centre with the bus right in front of the hotel and nearby there were some restaurants and supermarkets.

The only thing is that you can hear the road and it is still a bit busy at night. If you’re a light sleeper I would suggest earplugs!

If you want a quiet neighbourhood close to metro, this is it. Plenty of embassies nearby. A few restaurants. A few bars but not much action. Staff was very friendly. I interacted mainly with Davide, and I challenged him with many questions as it was my first time in Rome. Davide was very helpful and always with a smile. And my room had a small balcony which was a nice touch.

The doors to the rooms seemed to be paper thin, so anything going on in the corridor you'd hear like in your room. The place could maybe use a small refresh, but everything was clean, and that's key to me. Just be aware, in my room the shower was very narrow so a bigger person will struggle to fit. I'm not wide by any means and I was doing the Tetris in there trying to open and close the door.

Loved the location, convenient to the metro and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel. Yes, it's at a busy junction but we did not get any traffic noise in the hotel room. The bed is comfortable but if we had to pick one thing we liked the most, it is the shower. The coffee machine coffee is excellent. Also appreciated a bonus that we had a room with a balcony, sharing a view from our room

A very minor point - as they state, there isn't a proper breakfast buffet but an assortment of snacks

The service from the reception staff was excellent - really helpful. Second, the hotel was located close to the Policlinico Metro station which is only a couple of stops from Termini and maybe 4 or 5 stops from Colosseo Metro station, all on the same line so really convenient. Third, the room was spacious with a big, comfy bed and mine included a jacuzzi! Finally I really liked the pastries, cakes and coffee at Flour, Farina e Cucina which is a pleasant walk from the hotel in the morning.

My room was close to a noisy road but I was usually too tired from sight-seeing to be affected by it. Other rooms must be better placed.

The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to get me an adaptor for my phone charger. They also messaged me to check in about when I was arriving etc. Bed was very comfy with comfy pillows too. Air conditioning was great which was important as it was around 35 degrees Celsius during my stay. Spacious bathroom and good shower. No breakfast but snacks and drinks left out in morning which was nice. Room cleaned with fresh towels and water every day.

Nothing. Maybe one suggestion to make my stay even better would be to provide fresh coffee in the morning. However, there is a nearby place for coffee which is cheap. Hotel staff were also great with recommending places nearby for food etc.

Was there for one week. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Location ist superb - Not in a typical Tourist area and thanks to a Bus Stop directly in front of the hotel and the Metro Station Metropolico (3-4 minutes away within Walking distance) you can geht anywhere in a few minutes. When I return to Rome next year I definitely will book a room here again! Best Regards Dennis from Germany

Hotel Regina was great! I've stayed in single room. Bed is comfy, plus there are 4 pillows which all really helped me as I have chronic back issues. I slept well! Location is great, bus is right across the street (use 61 for city centre, to Fontana T., Panteon etc.), metro is 5 min by walk, it's well connected and a great way to get to Colosseum, city centre, etc. (B line). In the morning there is a snack corner with fruits and sweets. Staff is kind and friendly. As a solo traveller I felt safe here! :) Room is small but enough for 1 person or couple to sleep over. I asked for kettle and they provided with no extra costs. Every day new battle of water and cleaning service and towels were changed every day. There is a safe box for your passport, money etc.

Besides being far from the centre, the hotel is great for exploring Rome. It's close to the metro, there are buses running right in front, and the staff was really friendly! They don't offer breakfast at the moment, which is a pity, but they're kind enough to offer some snacks and fruits in the morning in a small room.

The room was a bit small, and I had a problem with ants (also mentioned in some of the other reviews). The shower was also really tiny but still fine to use. I know the hotel has been offering some snacks in the morning (free of charge), but some options could be savoury.

The room was very clean. The receptionist Davide was very welcoming, friendly, helpful and was always willing to help with any question or assistance. Davide was readily available to help and went above and beyond to make each guest feel safe, and welcome. Thank you so much Davide and will definetly come back to stay at the hotel and recommend my friends to this place 😊. Location is very close to the metro and bus stations. Easy to get to and from the city Centre and champiano airport
