The rooms were charming and very clean. The staff helped with transfers and directions. The elevator was a big help also. On the morning of our departure the keeper met me at 7am to use a secret elevator that went to the ground floor so we didn't have to carry our luggage by steps at all. Great time in Rome at the Lilium.

The first night our room was very tight. The keeper's were able to switch us to a room with a different set up that better suited our needs. Big plus. So something bad switched to something good.

This is a lovely and quaint hotel. It was a pleasure to stay here as it was a little away from the tourist areas but still walking distance. There were restaurants, caffe and mini-markets nearby so everything we needed.

The hotel is on the 3rd level which means you have a beautiful view from the breakfast room. While there is a lift you still need to climb a few steps to get to that lift. Stairs are not unusual in and old city like Rome but after a long day in the heat we were drained and didn't look forward to going up the stairs. Nothing the hotel can do about it I guess.

This is such a pretty little hideaway hotel with a quaint functioning lift, quiet rooms and a beautiful sitting room and dining room done all in blues and light pinks. The bed was comfortable, as was the AirCon, the shower was easy to use and we adored having a little balcony which we sat out on at night, eating our gelato from across the street: Romana (my favourite gelato in Rome) We walked back to termini train station, so easy. It was also conveniently located beside a grocery store and a pharmacy. The staff were superb. We had as much cappuccino in the morning as we wanted and refreshingly, breakfast included some savoury items and eggs. We will return.

If you're looking for a hotel in Rome with a lot of charm, this is the spot. The lobby and breakfast room with views to the city are especially beautiful, and we loved the colorful and cozy decor of the room as well. Our room had a lovely private garden balcony, which provided a nice place to sit and relax under the sun. The accommodations are clean and staff was helpful. There is an elevator if you don't feel like walking up three floors. Don't miss out on the breakfast with great coffee and the gelato place across the street!

Great place to stay in Rome, clean and a very friendly staff. Close to the train station an a bus ride away from the main attractions. Across the street you will find one of Rome's most famous Gelatto shops. Close to the main entrance there is a small convenience shop. We got a room with a balcony facing the inner courtyard with very beautiful flowers and a amall table. We arrived at 2am and Franchesco was very kind and waiting for us for the chenck in process. If you are arriving this late, please send them a note. When you arrive there is no sign outside the building. There is a big wooden door with a buzzer board on one side You have to ring the one that says Lilium hotle with small letters.

The Lilium Hotel is exquisite; it has been decorated elegantly and with beautiful taste. The room we stayed in was immaculate and the bathroom spotless. The rooms have large windows with views over old, character buildings. We found the staff kind and helpful. If you want to stay in an elegant, safe part of the city, within walking distance of all the main tourist sites, the Lilium Hotel is perfect. We walked to almost all of the main tourist attractions and enjoyed the fact that there is a small grocery store next door to the hotel. We will stay at the Lilium every time we visit Rome! It was a truly delightful hotel experience.

The location was perfect, quite central but not too much - great to avoid the crazy traffic and huge crowds of the historic center, but still be close enough to reach it by foot. The hotel is very clean and the staff adorable, and let's not forget the cutest lobby with a gorgeous view.

The view from the room could have been better, but it served its purpose : a clean, safe, quiet place to rest after long days of walking in the eternal city!

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice common area and aircon worked well in the room which was great during the heatwave. Located close to several nice cafes, bakeries and restaurants.

The walls are quite thin so easy to hear noises from other rooms, the bathrooms could do with an update but worked perfectly fine. Charged for bottled water.

Stylish deco, beautiful old building, the balcony had beautiful green plants, the hundred years old coffee machine makes a really good coffee and looks awsome. And the stuff! They are super kind and really pro!

The bed was a little hard for my taste and there could be maybe better quality pastry and bread for the breakfast. Maybe tomatoes or fruits too. The breakfast could be a little bit improved.

Overall a very beautiful hotel. My room was very clean and nice. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, quite close to both metro lines so it was easy to get to the city centre.

There was no breakfast when I was staying there. I feel like that could've been made a bit clearer on the page before booking. It wasn't too much trouble, though, as it allowed me to discover all the lovely breakfast places Rome has to offer.
