CLEANLINESS & HYGIENE > It is hard to fault MyNavona on cleanliness or hygiene. The entire property is immaculate STAFF > The staff were incredibly friendly and the room was very clean and comfortable. The staff will go out of their way to assist you and always greet you with a smile. BREAKFAST > The breakfast they provided was delicious and they went out of their way to provide Gluten Free bread for my wife. LOCATION > MyNavona could not be situated in a better place in Rome. The accommodation is situated less than 100m from the beautiful Piazza Navona which in turn is sandwiched right between the Vatican and the Colosseum in a pedestrians only area (which is a very welcome addition in Rome)! Furthermore the choice of restaurants and cafe's in the area is excellent and all good value (especially if you have an allergy to Gluten).

ACCESSIBILITY While it had no effect on my wife and I, If you have any disabilities or are elderly this property may not be the ideal choice. The entrance door to the building is very large and heavy which may make it difficult to open for some people. Also, even though there is a lift, you still need to climb about 12 steps to reach it and then ascend/descend another 12 to get to MyNavona. Having said this, part of the charm of the accommodation is that it is in a very old building and compromises such as these are often necessary in older properties. There are pictures below showing the view from the lift door and the steps down to the accommodation and another picture showing the large entrance door.

MyNavona is a complete 10/10. We checked in early without a problem and even though our room wasn't ready, we were shown it and able to leave our bags. Location...perfect. It is the best location in Rome and even though it is right in a busy nightlife area, we couldn't hear a thing. The soundproofing, like the air conditioning and wifi, was amazing. It was my birthday and a bottle of prosecco was left in our room and the next morning breakfast was wheeled in on a trolley with a candle in a small cake. So thoughtful.

Absolutely nothing.

The most perfect place to stay in Rome. Amazing location with plenty of lovely restaurants and bars within minutes - easy to walk to all the sights! Breakfast was served in the room every morning which was a great way to start each day (good selection). Staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. If we made them aware we were heading out early the next morning, they put some breads, pastries, yoghurts and juice in the room/fridge for us to help ourselves to (we never missed out). The room had everything you needed- was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfy and the windows were very effective at minimising the noise from the neighbouring streets. Big shower which was great and the air con worked well. Highly recommend.

The manager, Agnes, is an absolutely lovely woman: competent, charming, and helpful. I had a bad experience with my passport disappearing and felt a little discombobulated at some point misplacing my keys. She was helpful, finding them competently and being awfully nice about it.

It was rather difficult to find, partly because my driver, who I liked, nevertheless had a rather large van and couldn't negotiate the narrow streets. So he told me there was no way to get closer, which wasn't true. So there I was wandering around looking for a hotel tucked into the second floor of an apartment building. Like the Holy Grail once I found it, it was great but it wasn't always clear that I actually would locate it!

I’ve been to My Navona before and loved it. It is perfectly located, clean, safe and reasonably priced for such a very real location. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

On this visit I was in a different room to previous visits…it was set up as a twin. The room was still comfortable and spotless, but it was at the back of the property. It had 1 small window that didn’t let much natural light in at all as it faced the internal courtyard. The room was also smaller than the other rooms I have stayed in. I would not stay anywhere else in Rome, but I would stipulate not to have that room the next time I visit!

Maybe a little point to improve : the breakfast. Local products would be appreciated and also an orange juice (not a fruit (?) juice). Except that point everything was perfect.

Great central location in Piazza Navona. The host arranged airport transportation for us and gave us some helpful tips for traveling around (download the itTaxi app for taxi travel!). The driver who picked us up from the airport was flexible when our flights coming in were delayed which helped with our stressful travel day. The room was very clean and even though we were located in a busy neighborhood, the windows were extremely soundproof and we were able to have complete quiet. The breakfast that they offer is a simple continental breakfast and is brought to your room on a cart to enjoy. We would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent location, exceptional staff. This guesthouse had everything needed for a comfortable stay. This neighborhood is easy walking distance to sites, with many nearby restaurants and shops. The location is 10 out of 10. Minimal street noise, no annoyance even though you're surrounded by attractions. Hot shower, wifi, bed,.etc. all worked as expected. My room had an updated hotel-quality bathroom. Sundries provided. They were even gracious about holding my bags after check-out. It was a good value and comfortable stay. Staff were very helpful (in English). I'll try to return.

There was nothing here to complain about. There are some stairs. Safe, wide, well-lit, well-maintained stairs. Nothing worrying unless you have mobility concerns.

The hotel is really in the perfect location to explore Rome, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms are very spacious and clean with lots of nice little features like a really good coffee machine and nice extra blankets etc. The staff was also very friendly and helpful with everything. Having breakfast brought into the room was also a really nice highlight!

There was nothing we didn’t like about the property. The only small annoyance of our stay was that because it’s so central, the bars and restaurants on the street downstairs get quite loud sometimes, but the windows are well isolated in the hotel so it’s not a big deal.

Fantastic location (very lively outside, often with loud live music, but amazing magical soundproofing means it is nice and quiet), good sized room with a good spacious shower (which is rare in city centres), very comfy beds, great breakfast and coffee delivered to room. Friendly helpful staff. If ever in rome again, we would defo stay again.

The offered transfer to the airport was about double the price of a white taxi (31 euros to Ciampino). They booked a taxi for us but it didn't show up so we had to dash to find one at 5 in the morning, not their fault I'm sure but perhaps sort it out yourself - think they have an app but we walked everywhere so didn't have it.
