My stay at NG Guest House Roma San Pietro was incredible! I was greeted by one of Nicola’s friends upon arrival, and she was quite helpful showing me around the space. She sat down with a map of Rome with me and explained all of the major neighborhoods, as well as the bus system that has a stop just a couple blocks from the stay. I greatly appreciated the hospitality. My stay was quite cozy and comfortable, and I truly enjoyed my time here. I enjoyed being near the Vatican, as it was more quiet than being in the heart of Rome, but I could still get to the heart of Rome in about a 30ish minute walk. I highly recommend Nicola’s stay to anyone looking for a home base in Rome! Thank you so much, Nicola!

The only small thing that would’ve made the stay better would be a small shelf in the shower to put toiletries on, instead of having to put them on the floor, but this is just a small personal preference and did not affect my stay at all! Also, when I arrived, there was an empty wine bottle and milk in my fridge, so that had not been removed during cleaning, prior to my entering.

price/quality is excellent. very convenient location. the breakfast included was also very good.

Noise isolation wasn't perfect. we could hear the voices of people in the neighboring rooms. Fortunately, the guests were respectful, so the noise wasn't a great issue for us that day. Another thing to be mentioned is the bathroom with a toilet located in the same room separated only with a transparent sliding door and a curtain , ahah. So, your mate may hear all the noises you produce in there..

The room was perfect - clean and comfortable with a lovely little balcony overlooking a beautiful terraced garden. It was so quiet and peaceful at night which I imagine is a challenge in such an excitingly lively city like Rome. Perfect location for those going to the Vatican and a 30 minute walk to the centre of Trastevere or the main tourist sites in the city centre. I walked home late many times and felt safe. The staff were friendly and accomodating. I would happily recommend this place to anyone looking to be close to the Vatican.

I LOVED the room. It was really comfy and big for one single person, the bed is very confortable, there were extra pillows and blankets if required. There was an amazing balcony to sit and read in the afternoons. The closet was at the entrance of the room, so you could leave your coat and shoes before coming in, like japanese style. The bathroom is very big and it even has a bidet and a rack to dry the towels quickly. Amenities like coffee and tea were available all day long. When I arrived I met with Ewa, who gave me the keys, explained everything and gave advise on things to do and places to eat, and she was also very attent and communicative before my arrival. 20/10, I highly recommend staying at NG Guest House.

You just need to consider the metro station is not close, around 15-20 min walk, so you would probably be travelling more in buses or doing a lot of walking.

The safe and close to center location.

We arrived 2 hours earlier but we weren't offered to leave our baggages on shared kitchen area even if cleaning ladies were there. they suggested to leave then in paid lockers 1.5km away instead. There is very bad sound insulation. Room door didn't close entirely so sound and light entered the room. every morning you wake up from the noise on shared area and open/close of entrance door. At nights you listened to every sound from nearby rooms. from simple dialogs to 18+. Hot water was available only for shower. The other was broken and not fixed. cleaning lady entered the room while we were inside without knocking the door. no room cleaning for 5 days apart from changing towels and sheets in 3rd day. very poor breakfast.

Proximity to Vatican, in a neighborhood with convienences nearby eg laundry, restaruants, grocery, church. Also liked security of building. Felt very safe in neighborhood as a single woman.

The breakfast option of walking distance away from building was a waste and disappointment. Walls too thin, baby crying, could hear bed banging sex in next door room, and big loud shouting arguments.

The room is very comfortable. Ewa was extremely kind :) It’s very close to the Vatican, you also have a bus stop 2 mins away. Breakfast was served in a cafeteria a block away, it’s made up of coffee, juice, and a delicious croissant, which was more than enough for me. You can have free espressos in the guest house, which is great. You’ve got a pizza place next door and some supermarkets around if you need anything. There’s also a Carrefour a few minutes away. I really recommend this place. Thank you!

My room was a little bit cold only on the first day, I think maybe the heater wasn’t working well that day. It was fine on the other days.

Location is perfect for visiting the vatican and most important sites within half an hours walk Room was spotless, comfortable and quiet. Shared kitchen with selection of teas/coffees was a nice touch. Staff really helpful and considerate. Small restaurant just around the corner, great food at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend NG guesthouse as base to explore Rome

The only thing I didn't like was having to leave after a pleasent few days 😪

Location is great, apartment is really nice, like on pictures, they aranged also taxi for us when we were leaving. Near you have small caffeteria for great breakfast. Area is nice and safe. All together I think this is great place to be in Rome. In front of the apartment you have a bus stop, and 6 min of walk you have train station.

I really like the space, I arrived a little earlier than expected, so my room was not ready yet, but still i cod leave my luggage in my room , and go start my visit, everything was explained to me , I forgot the name of the lady who received me , but she was very nice and helpful . when I got back to the hotel the room was cleaned and tied up. I didn’t have anything to complain about , I really enjoyed my stay, and I would definitely stay there again .

didn’t have many choices at the breakfast. but it wasn’t a big deal, people working at the breakfast area where extremely nice , so I wouldn’t take out any point for that .
