For the price we booked regular room and then got upgrade to the bigger size room with bathtub - it was good.

On the other hand, I would doubt to book it in the high season at full price: 1. The furniture is kinda outdated, you can just feel it. 2. Unfortunately, Staff often crosses the line between "Offer" and "Force" for paid services. 3. The difference between "show" and "be" a premium hotel is so huge, that I felt uncomfortable. 4. Half of options at breakfast menu were not available because "chef" is not there. "Different selection of cheese" is just one type of cheese. Bread, pastry, fruits are not fresh. So seems like "breakfast with menu" looks more like save money on buffet, rather then something "exceptional". 5. I waited for 10-15 min at checkout, because there is not ring bell and staff was in the kitchen or somewhere else.

Amazing team, place and breakfast / restaurant! We came here to see the mountains, but it was so nice, that mostly we just enjoyed the hotel. Rooms / Suites are very generous and have a great interior design. And they have an exquisite wine cellar in the basement.

I love the villa very much. The receptionists are super friendly and always helpful. The breakfast was awesome!

The building and room was really beautiful. Lovely details, comfortable bed and the breakfast was really good.

The service was questionable. We arrived late afternoon and after checking in went straight to dinner. After dinner we went to the room and there was a key stuck in our door, after returning it to the reception they said that it was from the cleaning lady. Why does the cleaning lady need to enter the room minutes AFTER the checkin? She re-made the bed and obviously has seen our "bedroom toys" which we would not have left out in the open if we would have known they would clean the room during our dinner. Also during the dinner, the waiter took our order - wrote it down on his notebook. But still brought the wrong starter and forgot the bottle of wine we ordered (had to re-order it again). The main course was almost cold and after telling him that it was cold, when he came to ask if everything was ok, he just shrugged and did not even apologize for it. Also during dinner and multiple times throughout the day, somebody drove a VERY loud trolley through the reception which was very annoying. It wouldn't take much to modify the trolley in a way that it wouldn't make such noise. All of this was not to be expected from a 5 star location.

We had a delightful stay at this quaint, small hotel. The atmosphere was charming, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The front desk host, who also doubled as the bartender, made the best Negroni I’ve ever had and greeted us with a glass of Prosecco upon our arrival—such a lovely touch! The drive to the hotel was beautiful, setting the tone for a relaxing getaway. In the evening, we dined at their restaurant. While it was a bit overpriced, the meal was absolutely delicious, making it worth the splurge. Overall, we found the experience to be of great value for the price. We would definitely consider returning!

While our stay had some positive aspects, there were a few areas where the hotel fell short. The room itself was a bit outdated, and the lack of a proper shower—just an old bathtub—was disappointing. The absence of an in-room air conditioning unit was a significant drawback, especially in the warmer weather. The hotel provided an external plug-in AC unit, but it required keeping the window fully open for ventilation, which wasn’t ideal and didn’t make much sense. Breakfast was average at best, and to our surprise, the fruit basket we received included rotten fruit. These issues collectively detract from the hotel’s 5-star rating. However, we think this hotel might be better suited for a winter stay, especially for those looking to ski in the area. Overall, given that it was a last-minute booking, the price was fair, but there’s definitely room for improvement
