Very close to the central station and the ferry port to Amalfi coast. In a shopping and restaurant area, so I enjoyed shopping as well as eating. The room was very spacious, cozy, and clean. The staffs are kind and friendly even though not fluent in English but enough to communicate something important, and again, very friendly. Might be a little confused if you are not used to B&B entrance (e.g. where and how to reach out to the floor etc.), but I was fine. There was an auto-window shutter as well, which was cool. Overall, my experience was great.

The bathroom, shower room in specific, could be cleaner. I saw some black mold, and also water leaked when I was taking shower. Also the room smelled moldy a little bit when I left the room closed. Just a little bit so it was okay as long as I opened the window when I got back. But if those are improved, I'd like the place more.

The place is nice, clean, and comfortable, and the host is very helpful and responsive. The greatest thing about this place is its location. If you hate dragging heavy luggage across town and cobblestones and up flights of stairs, this is a perfect place. It is only a 3-minute walk from the train station, the pavement is smooth, and the building has an elevator. Also, it is only a few-minute walk to a little harbor where ferries leave for most destinations on the Amalfi coast. Loved staying there.

Location, Location, Location! Ferry dock, train station, and many food and drink options, including breakfast or a nice charcuterie experience, only steps away. Beautiful building,nicely remodeled and modern, a little deck for a cup of tea in the morning. Absolutely spotless.They also have a minibar in the room with snacks and drinks.

I had one thin crispy bath towel for 3 nights. The soundproof room is soundproof from street noise, not interior noise. All the surfaces are hard, so sound carries.

The location is fantastic. It is located right on the main street of shopping in Salerno. The B&B is two blocks from the train station and a short 5 minute walk to the ferries. Alfonso was very attentive and helpful with anything we needed and his mother is an absolute gem. She was there every morning with the traditional Italian breakfast and was very helpful to us as well during our stay. The room was very comfortable, modern, and clean. Most places in Italy don't have air conditioning this place DOES. We felt very comfortable and welcome at Cherie. I will absolutely look to stay here again on my trip to the Amalfi coast.

Amazing location, friendly and helpful host, access to all transportation options within walking minutes. pictures are identical to reality and the sea view was pleasant. The location is on a main pedestrian street and it’s a very secure area. It’s a great base for exploring the Amalfi coast, Napoli and Pompeii. Fully recommended.

Bugs and mosquitoes (there is a bug repellent offered by the property). Sewage smells in the bathroom a bit. Hot water takes a minute to come. Bed sheets were clean but had old stains.

Our host met us at the location and helped us become familiar with the surroundings. He was very friendly and gave us very helpful information about the city and restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was great being on the main pedestrian walking area in Salerno so we were able to get everywhere easily and walk around the city at night. The train station was very close as was the waterfront walkway. We were very pleased with everything and recommend Cherie B&B.

Friendly and welcoming host, great location for exploring city and area. It is a very short walk from Salerno’s train station. Comfortable space and bed, decent bathroom, cure little balcony for breakfast or drinks. Many good restaurants nearby. Host generously offers suggestions for dining and sightseeing.

Perfectly located! Only 300m from train station and 300m from ferry port. Lots of restaurants and shops on the doorstep. Check-in instructions were excellent and well communicated. Alfonso even sent a list of restaurant recommendations and a link to book a ferry for our trip to Positano. The room was very clean and comfortable and very well-appointed.

The B&B owner Alfonso was an excellent Host. He made sure we were all set and made recommendations to several restaurants and sites to see. The property was spotless and so close the train station, also right in the heart of Salerno’s Bars & Restaurants. This property is also a very short walk to the local port where you can get the regular boat to Almafi, Positano and several coastal towns (cheap tickets). Cherie B&B is an A+ recommendation
