Superb location and accommodation. We were a family group and enjoyed a wonderfully tranquil break away here. The gorgeous pool area and gardens meant we could relax fully. The exquisite staff were so kind and attentive! Grazie mille Mattia e Toto 👌 We hired a car and explored the southern coast easily down to Leuca and up to Gallipoli and likewise up to Lecce and Otranto from our base here. There are beautiful towns, swim spots and coves close by. We'll be back! There's so much more to see. Adela Eoin and family

Nothing it was all great

The location is wonderful, a (rental) car is necessary in case you want to properly visit the region (Otranto, Santa Maria de Leuca, Gallipoli, etc.) The apartment we stayed in (2 bedrooms, bathroom, living room and kitchenette) was spacious and comfortable. Enough storage space, and good beds. Use of aircondition was included, so the appartment was at a comfortable temperature at all times, but especially during the warm nights. The location is quiet, there is one road running next to it (which is not very busy) so hardly any traffic noises, which results in quiet nights and a good night's sleep. The swimming pool is a blessing, especially since we visited during the heatwave. It's very clean, and big enough for children (about 1m40 at its deepest) to play and adults to swim or just relax in the cool water. Good sunbeds and ombrellos. Despite the amount of guests there were always enough sunbeds. Two washing machines, free to use. Reception employee Giulia was a joy and a big help! She gave us very useful info on which places to visit and sights to see. With any questions we had, Giulia was available for help or advice. The surrounding gardens are being kept nicely. All in all we can highly recommend Conchiglia San Giovanni, you will not be disappointed!

The kitchenette could use an update. Larger plates, some extra coffee mugs, a wooden stirring spoon, a spatula, 2 ovenmitts. Just some small additions that would improve the at-home cooking.

This was an absolutely lovely property - super family oriented. In many ways, it reminds me of a lodge setting where families get together for a nice long getaway. The rooms are basic, but we’ll equipped and super clean. The property is absolutely lovely. We enjoyed watching the sun rise on our private little patio. The staff are fantastic - super helpful. We took a particular shine to Toto, who was so incredibly amenable - a superstar at customer service! Also, the property is close to great sites such as the town of S. Ceserea, Lecce, coastal boat tours, etc. We live in the Caribbean, so we weren’t there for sea and sun, but if you are hoping for this type of experience, you are also close to great spots for sunbathing and enjoying the sea!

Couldnt walk to town due to busy roads with stretches with no pavement, no bar or snacks available to purchase on site, kitchen could have been better equipped eg kettle & toaster

Pool area was lovely, apartment was basically furnished but had everything we needed and lots of space as well as being spotlessly clean. Washing machines available to use free of charge.

I loved how quiet and peaceful the place is. The swimming area is wonderful, very quiet and calming after a busy day. The olive trees add a perfect back drop. The staff are super friendly and helpful - advising on where to go and what to do locally.

We had a great stay, good location and an excellent pool. Its a nice and quiet spot. The accommodation was clean and the staff very friendly. Free parking just out the front and full washing facilities provided free of charge.

Only a few small things missing really, no corkscrew/bottle opener! No bowls in the kitchen,, well unless you count the extremely shallow plate/pasta bowls. Very limited cooking utensils and no wooden spoon.

We were above average satisfied with the accommodation. Very friendly staff. Very well-kept surroundings, large swimming pool, nice breakfast. Good location near the sea and for trips around. The apartment for four people with two bedrooms is very large. The terrace of apartment is in the shade for a large part of the day. If I ever come back to Puglia, I will definitely come back here. Normal and fair price.

None, everything was perfect

The residence is in a quite environmnent, close to the sea (by car 5 mins) and to a beautiful beach. The pool is very clean and comfortable for small children. The staff is kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
