We loved the beautiful, quiet garden and outdoor pool. The staff were very lovely & you could order drinks to the pool with a button. The bar and reception is open 24/7 which is great & you can also order a shuttle to the towns through the hotel. Close to bus stops and trains and a few other bars and restaurants and beaches. Only about a 8-10 min walk to the beach.

Considering the bar and reception was open 24/7 we found it weird that the pool opened at 10:30am and closed at 7pm. We would have liked it open slightly earlier and later. We didn’t like that there was only two spots for an hour in the morning to book for breakfast. The breaky selection wasn’t very nice so we opted to go out for breakfast a couple of days & wish there was a bigger selection of food to order for room service. Also, our tv didn’t have any apps or was able to turn to English for the nights we wanted to stay in and chill so we had to use our laptop.

This hotel is lovely, friendly and extremely accommodating. The staff are super helpful and you can communicate with them via WhatsApp for any of your needs whilst you are out and about during the day which is really helpful. Every single one of the staff were very friendly. As two young girls travelling we felt very safe in this town mainly due to how helpful our hotel was. The hotel offers a shuttle service from the hotel into the town of Sorrento for €10 and that €10 pays for every trip so it’s very good value for money. Antonio, the shuttle driver was very friendly and made us feel safe. He is amazing! He took us into town every day and all we had to do was text him when we wanted to be picked up, saving us money on taxis. You can also buy bus tickets at the hotel for travelling to Positano and Amalfi and the hotel can book taxis to the port for when you leave. They also provided us with packed lunches on the days that we couldn’t attend breakfast. The facilities were very good. The pool is lovely and breakfast was nice. The location is nice because. It’s out of the busy town of Sorrento but still close enough to everything and very close to the nearby train and bus stations. Will definitely be coming back here again and highly recommend.

The only issue we had was that the AC wasn’t working as well as it could have when we first arrived.

Beautiful little hotel, very clean 2 minute walk from the train station that takes you right to the centre of Sorrento for €1.50 and takes about 5 minutes equally only about a 30 minute walk right into the centre. They offer a shuttle service to the centre as well. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were so friendly, extremely helpful and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The pool area and gardens are just beautiful! The hotel was not busy and it was very peaceful and relaxing on a very quiet little square. Such a perfect place to stay for a few nights if you’re visiting Sorrento.

The staff were exceptional. Very helpful and friendly and couldn’t do more to make our stay enjoyable. The hotel is in a great, peaceful location, far enough from Sorrento be be out of the hustle and bustle, but close enough to get into the centre. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had everything we needed and the shower worked perfectly. The shuttle service into Sorrento was great and we used it a few times.

The breakfasts, thought excellent in quality were a bit limited. We usually prefer a wider choice, buffet style approach, but having said that, we did not leave the breakfast table hungry. Everything was fresh and tasty.

The hotel stuff is very friendly and helpful. All the questions asked were answered. The best part of it was that they have a Whatsapp that is 24/7 active and they are always responsive there and you can ask anything! The biggest convenience was the shuttle for the whole stay that you could book in advance to get you from the hotel to Sorento Centre/Port and back. The location is perfect out of the bigger crowds and the hotel itself is not that big and even full doesn't feel like it was crowded. The pool there was amazing after a long day of walk or even taking break from the beach.

Everything was exceptional and perfect. There's not a single thing we didn't like.

Lovely property with nice rooms, complementary breakfast and friendly staff. I’d highly recommend going to the beach near the hotel instead of the ones in the centre of Sorrento as it’s way less crowded and more affordable so a much more pleasant and relaxing experience. They have a shuttle that goes to and from Sorrento centre which was very handy instead of getting a bus or train. They also helped us book ferries into positano and amalfi and a cheap coach service to Napoli airport.

Bunk beds were fine but just quite difficult to get up and down them. The thermostat in the room was also difficult to work so found it hard to control the temperature but we visited when it wasn’t too hot. I imagine in the summer months it might be more of a problem

Extremely clean and amazing facilities, just outside Sorrento with great restaurants and neighbourhood. Great breaky each morning. Staff were extremely accomodating and helpful with anything we required. Special mention to the shuttle service which made to stay even better - can book to and from Sorrento main square and Port for just €10pp for the whole stay. The shuttle driver Antonio was excellent and also gave great recommendations around the area!

The front desk staff were very helpful with knowing the best ways to arrive at Pompeii and how to get to Capri. Breakfast service was great as it was one less thing for us to worry about. There was a shuttle service that the hotel offered for transportation directly to the center of Sorrento that we used daily to and from the hotel, Antonio the driver was really nice and gave us some great restaurant recommendations.

This hotel has a great history and it has been remodeled beautifully. Large room with a comfortable bed and great pillows! The staff is very helpful, and attentive. They have a wonderful breakfast menu with delicious food. A wonderful garden area, too.

They only thing I would say might be a con for this property is that they do not have A/C in the rooms. But for me stay at the end of September it wasn’t an issue because the cooler evening temps made for a very comfortable nights sleep.

The location is a very easy walk less than five minutes from getting off the train. Very quiet location in old neighbourhood. Tranquil and relaxing. The staff make this place work so well as everyone is friendly and helpful. Rooms are very different so choose carefully. Our room for three nights had triple aspect, massive king bed but smaller shower. Breakfast was very good with choice of freshly made eggs, cake of the day, coffee to order and a selection of cereal, yogurts etc. ten minute walk down to the cliff top will find you the quietest spot on the coast with awesome view and a very good bar adjoining the Garden View Hotel. Great spot for sunsets. Best local restaurant was Moonlight which was also quiet. You can buy your train tickets at reception. Wifi is good. All in all excellent.

Our initial room was on the ground floor but on entering I instantly smelt mould and could see it in places. It set off my asthma and I had to leave the room. The only other available room was the bunk room but this was fine for one night and they moved us to a room upstairs the next day for the remaining three nights. My husband was not affected by the damp but it is an old building that has been completely renovated. I saw damp on the lower walls in several areas. Book a room upstairs if this affects you.
