The service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, polite and professional. It was my birthday during our stay and they left a lovely gift in our room. They made me a special dessert with a candle also. The thermal pool was spectacular. Food was so good. Breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want.

My only issue was when we tried to hire the electric bikes on the Saturday morning we were told it wasn't possible. The reason was unclear but I suspect it's because they were prioritising golfers and sorting out clubs and carts. That was a little annoying but we just got on with other plans

Breakfast was excellent, an abundance of healthy options, all delicious. Friendly, efficient service throughout the hotel.

The food in the 1919 restaurant was terrible—as well as expensive. It might be acceptable to tourists who don’t know to expect better but for residents in Italy it was one of the most disappointing meals of our lives! Service was good but not enough to compensate for the low quality of the food.

Lovely unique place. The natural Source and Algae I think can hit the mind and the soul of most sceptical and rational people. You immediately understand that this is one of a kind nature creations that On top has a history of service excellence for ages. I have visited the place twice. And I see that the owners keep the standard - decorate the rooms, change the mattress, add spa protocols - despite of the various crisis like Covid etc. One of the biggest achievements is the restaurant, bell boys and the Bar. Last time we came restaurant was just a place to get to a day you arrive. Now it can compete with really great Tuscany cousins around. We came there twice during 5 days. The Bar guys are lovely. They serve cocktails day and night and also beautiful lunch. At the entrance you always get the best attitude even though you arrive - like we did - with 10 pieces of luggage on a dusty car after 7 hours drive and you get same attitude and service versus you arrive on Lamba.

Nothing. Just the fact that there are more people getting to this Secret Sacred Place.

A superb break in the middle of a 2 week road trip through Italy. The staff was super friendly and helpful , really a great customer orientation. Great facility, very nice rooms, a super restaurant at the pool with high Italian cuisine, the proximity and access to the public bath which is included. The valet service recharging the battery of the EV car.

A very calm and relaxing experience. The thermal baths were great. Perhaps the best I have visited yet. The staff was very friendly,helpful and made us feel very welcome everyday of our stay. The room was quiet,comfortable and clean. The breakfast was great with so many options! The hotels restaurant was also very very good! We enjoied every lunch and dinner.

The only thing I can mention is the pillows of the bed. They surely need an upgrade.

I liked the hotels proximity to the Saturnia cascading thermal baths & beautiful near by towns. With more time I would have liked to try a treatment in the spa and a little bit of golf.

The smell is horrendous, my kids call it the stinky place and couldn’t wait to leave. I do understand that is the smell that comes with such amazing natural springs but it really is strong indoors as well.

This is beautiful resort, great grounds, golf course and natural warm terme large pools ( outdoors) and small hot tubs. Pool has waterfall ( shoulder neck ) and various jets along the wall. The room was large and comfortable but the view was in the boring small courtyard which seems not reasonable for the price we paid Bed was comfortable and clean. Restaurant was very good ( interesting menu and good wine) and reasonably priced. The breakfast was outstanding

we stayed here for the first time to experience the thermal springs of Saturnia. Everything was amazing! Very friendly staff! We arrived in the morning before afternoon and got a room half an hour later, before check-in which is at 15:00! A magnificent room overlooking the garden, with a separate dressing room and a large bathroom. The main pool is spacious with hot thermal clear water and is very pleasant. There are cascades and a Jacuzzi with thermal water. The cafe and restaurant overlooks the pool. The coffee and cantucci are amazing:) We had dinner at the taverna on site and it exceeded all our expectations. The menu offers more Tuscan meat dishes, there is one hot dish of cod, but the chef prepared a magnificent grilled seabass for us the next day since we don’t eat meat. Bravissimo!

Of course you have to assume that this is a 5 star hotel and the prices are correspondingly high. There are traps for flies and horseflies near the pool, but some will still catch you! It is difficult to find a taxi in the region, so it is better to rely on your own transport!

I arrived puffy from eating pizza for a week and left with reduced inflammation and a peaceful mind. The sulphuric baths were deeply healing and soothing. The location is from a dream. The staff were incredibly warm and accommodating. The breakfast offering was beyond my imagination! 24hrs here left us feeling renewed, at peace and feeling inspired. I will come back here many more times in my life.

I almost didn’t book this hotel because the photos gave the impression that it would be cheesy or pretentious, in a Vegas sort of way. It was the exact opposite, authentic, warm, inviting, inclusive, gorgeous and peaceful!!

Everything! Grounds and surrounding area - beautiful. Location perfect if visiting the Saturnia springs near by. Hotel is located on its own natural thermal spring which although a bit stinky (sulphur) - you get used to it. The hotel facilities were fantastic. Giovanni in the restaurant was wonderful and welcoming and has great stories of his experience. We had some of the best meals in the restaurant at the hotel. Very very pleased we made the trip and stayed here.

There were additional outdoor pools etc that could only be used if you had a booking at the spa. The facilities were plentiful anyway but it was a shame to not be able to use all the outdoor pools and indoor spa facilities when staying at the hotel.
