Maison Kalea is a lovely modern property walking distance up the hill from the Sorrento train station. The colorful tile decor in the rooms and common areas is cheerful and bright making the whole space feel happy. The staff is helpful and attentive: we had a wonderful dinner at Baghni Delphino because Bianca was able to get us a last minute reservation. The private balcony attached to our room exceeded my expectations. Huge space and views. The breakfast buffet is also special with homemade cakes and different dishes each day.

Be aware that Sorrento is on a steep hill and Maison Kalea is up the hill from the beach, the ferry docks, and the main center of town. You need to be able to walk back up after your day or have pre arranged transport. We loved being up away from the noise and crowds of central Sorrento but it might not be for everyone.

Our hostess, Virginia, was very friendly and gave us excellent recommendations for places and restaurants to visit. Breakfast was a lovely selection and Virginia was kind enough to pack us a breakfast when we had to check out early in the morning. The room had everything we needed and we were very happy with the air conditioning and the large balcony. Location was great, in a quieter location than the centre of town, but just short walk into town and to the train station. Local restaurants, cafes and shops nearby.

The room could have been cleaner upon arrival. We found a clump of hair on one of the pillows and dust and fluff around the room. There was also confusion about whether our towels had been changed for new ones; we would leave dirty ones on the floor and find that they were just picked up and hung up again and not changed for new ones.

The decor was beautiful and the outdoor patio area was very relaxing and inviting. The breakfast was delicious and the ability to custom order eggs and coffee was very nice.

The balcony I had was barely wide enough for one chair. I had paid for a Superior room and almost all of the other rooms had very nice balconies with a table and 2 chairs. I was disappointed that I could not sit in the balcony in the evening and see the city.

Literally I liked everything. I think I was lucky that I booked this accommodation in Sorrento at a very decent price and here are the reasons: 1- Location: very strategic, close to Sorrento train station (9 minutes) and within walking distance to Sorrento Center (e.g. old town: 500 m, Marina Grande: 1.2 KM, etc.) 2- Cleanliness: the accommodation is super duper clean, the moment you step in you could feel how clean it is - the staff does regular/daily cleaning and they change towels - seriously am so picky and I can tell - if you look for clean accommodation - you should book this B&B without hesitation. 3- Facility: you got everything you need to feel staying home: the room, has all the essentials, and most importantly it has safe deposit. The room had a big balcony with a nice view. The B&B had a big terrace as well, equipped with cool seatings and a Jacuzzi, yes a Jacuzzi! 4- Staff: Very very very attentive and careful staff - thanks a million to Martina and Bianca and the chef! I really consider them as friends not B&B staff - they were very helpful and careful, and offered a lot of tips about how to navigate Sorrento, where to go, what to eat, etc. and assisted me with booking my tours to Amalfi and Capri 5- Breakfast: I cant explain how delicious the breakfast wise - it meets all kind of expectations - the chef did a great job preparing the food and she accomodated our special requests for omlettes and coffee, etc. I gave 11/10 stars to the chef and the kitchen staff.

This place was a fantastic find. Spotlessly clean, good facilities in the rooms and well noise insulated from the road. It's well located, being only 10 mins walk from train station and main square. The staff were excellent, Bianca and Martina were extremely helpful suggesting places to eat, and helping with problems. My wife had an accident (self inflicted, and away from the hotel ) during our stay and the staff bent over backwards to help us out and adapt to help us.

This hotel is perfect. Close to the city centre and beach clubs. It is about 8 min walking, downhill from the hotel to the city Center and uphill returning from it. It has some really cute decorations (pics attached), that bring a upscale feeling. Rooms as spacious and comfortable. I stayed at room 3 (ground floor) and my mom and dad 4 (1st floor) (pics attached). They have elevator which makes the upstairs room accessible. Both rooms were clean and well maintained daily. AC worked well and cold/hot water without any issues. Breakfast was AMAZING. Great coffee and lots of fresh bakery. Croissants were delicious and the cakes too. You can ask for omelettes (frittatas). Staff were all amazing 10/10. I can name only Bianca because I had an issue with my reservation that got canceled by Booking 5 days before I arrived. I was able to contact them using WhatsApp and get a last minute reservation since mine had just canceled. I 100% recommend the hotel.

I just wish it was a little closer to the city Center. But it is definitely walkable.

A great place to spend your Sorrento vacation days. We stayed in the Deluxe Junior Suite, which had a spacious room with a large terrace. All necessary amenities were available in the room and on the terrace. The breakfast was delicious and a little different every morning. The location was good - close to the city center and the railway station. The staff was very friendly. Would have liked to stay longer.

The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful offering recommendations and help booking excursions. The excursion booked through the hotel was much cheaper than those we were considering online. The room was big, clean, comfortable, quiet and air-conditioned. The breakfast was tasty - amazing frittata every day and a selection of cheese, meat, pastries etc. We didn’t realise at first that we could also ask for a fresh omelette. The hotel is a short walk to the centre and we enjoyed coming away from the crowds back to our sanctuary!

The property was fantastic, bright, colourful and clean. The staff like Martina and Nello were fabulous and very helpful all we had to do is ask. Martina even made our breakfast boxes because we had to leave early. So thoughtful! The property is so close to train and bus stations and close to the centre. We will definitely come back in the near future.

The staff was so kind - both of the front desk people we worked with and the woman who did the breakfast. They were just a pleasure. The hotel is charming, the breakfast was yummy, the staff was great.

It would have been nice to have a dresser or a cabinet or something. We were there for 6 nights, and I like to move into a hotel room when I am there for that long rather than living out of my suitcase. There were some shelves we used, but a better place for clothes storage would have been helpful. But the room was quite large and comfortable as was the bathroom.
