Although it is a bit of a walk from the train station (about 15-20 minutes), it is very central to a lot of the things to see in Trieste (it is right behind the main square). The shining star for this hotel is the service. They were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. Although not a huge variety, there were quite a bit of options and the food was delicious. Fruits, even in the fall, were sweet and juicy. And we had to leave early on one morning so we asked if we could just grab a bag of some pastries to go. They said, just tell us what you want and we will pack it up for you and have it waiting. And they did! Complete with plastic silverware and napkins. Now THAT is service. The room itself was clean and a bit small but not too bad. Very modern and comfortable. There was a little bit of noise but not really noticeable. And the staff always said hello when you left and returned.

Very minor, nitpicky things. The thing that wasn't great was the square toilet. It is as uncomfortable as it sounds. The shower stall was also pretty small and I am a small person so I can't imagine if someone bigger used the shower. But it was perfectly fine and the bathroom itself was a decent size. Note that if you have mobility issues, while the elevator will take you to your floor, you do have to walk down about 4 steps to get to the hallway where the rooms are located. Not bad but just be aware.

Clean and modern. I upgraded to a larger room for a very good price. Urban is very centrally located easy to get where I wanted yo go. The staff were always welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was great - wonderful selection of good and coffee and Tommy the dining host was was always welcoming and attentive. Front desk helped me with getting taxi service and keeping luggage. Then there were little things - great water pressure and lots of ada amenities if you need then.

Breakfast was outstanding and the highlight of our stay in the hotel. The location was central and walking distance from all the tourist spots. The staff were lovely as well.

The location of our rooms meant we were above a number of noisy bars which meant being woken up to loud and rowdy customers each night at 2am and then by the staff leaving the establishments at 4am. This meant very interrupted nights sleep. If I were to stay again I would ask to be put on the quieter side of the hote.

The room was very comfortable. Good quality mattress. Breakfast was excellent and Tommy made the experience great. They have a bean to cup coffee machine and the coffee was really nice. They also serve cold meets and salad, pastries and some hot food although the attempt at the English breakfast is not worth trying.

The configuration of the room meant there was only a small window in the room and you had to rely on artificial light.

The location was amazing! Very dog friendly hotel… people who love their dogs will feel good and comfortable here! We also loved the breakfast. Everything was fresh and tasty!

The location is excellent - all major facilities are within a 5 minute walk; The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable and newly renovated. The breakfast is far beyond expectations considering the size of the hotel - don't miss it (a large selection of food; squeezed orange juice; honeycomb; fantastic, cheese, eggs, salmon, pastries, cakes, fruit, meat products, salads...) The staff is extremely friendly and meets all guests' requests, when possible... The price-quality ratio is optimal - the best I've had in recent years. My recommendations for this exceptional hotel.

The room faced the skylight, on the lower floor, so there was not enough daylight, but everything was airy, so I enjoyed the accommodation. Surely there are rooms with a view. Despite this minor drawback, I enjoyed the accommodation. The most beautiful restaurants and cafes of Trieste are a few minutes away, so you won't miss it if you don't have a terrace in your room.

Everything. Perfect location. All staff welcoming, friendly and helpful. Tommi runs a fantastic breakfast room. Reception staff so genuinely kind. We had three rooms and all felt the same. And the best location: very close to the bay and easy to get around plus to the bus station which we used on two days. We felt really comfortable there.

The hotel has a central location. The room was clean and neat. The breakfast was very good; from friendly staff to delicious food. It was quite to sleep.

The biggest issue was parking. My top priority thingy on which I chose the hotel was because they said they had parking and this was not the case. The garage is really nearby, but you have to go there and since it’s really frequent you might wait a lot to get in. The first time was around 20min, the second around 30-35min. The price of the room was a bit high for the whole together.

The rooms were excellent and well appointed. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was first class. The location was central to everything that we needed, 2 blocks from the waterfront and a short walk to restaurants and bars. The staff was incredibly supportive and helpful. There breakfast lounge has a unique glass floor that allows you to view the original Roman seawall from 1 BCE. Fascinating!

The location of the hotel is perfect, also the breakfast was amazing. Huge selection, really tasty coffee and food. The staff were really friendly and kind, polite. Bathroom was super clean and we also got a Really cute NYE present with handwritten note :)

Our room’s windows were facing huge AC external ventilators so we couldn’t open the window much. It was also facing the street with a really loud bar on the corner and we could clearly hear its music during the late evening/night. The AC in our room made loud mysterious noises during the night so we woke up a few times.
