Location was excellent! 5 min walk to the left of hotel there's a small alleyway right pass Limbosco restaurant, delicious!! Also Bologna restaurant, both a must eat!! Alleyway from Hotel di Varese will take you right to the city center of Varese with tons of shops & restaurants. Now, right from the start the Reception checkin, free parking, super clean throughout! Elegant hotel with superb service from all staff!! Room size, comfortable bed, shower water pressure excellent!! Breakfast was plentiful... (pistachio croissant OMG) drinks, coffee anything you want available 24/7 the staff will accommodate. Truly impeccable service from all staff members no matter what time of day or night that we may have ask for something. Absolutely, recommend this hotel and if ever in the area again without hesitation would stay there again❤️ Aloisia, Angelica, Francesca, Nickolas, Samuel & housekeeping staff will help you with all your needs at anytime, with anything, just ask!😊

The hotel was modern and very clean. We went to dinner and when we came back and they had made the bed again after our nap with candy on our pillow. The staff was so friendly and very helpful! Secure parking was easy and right on the premises. You just walk a minute and you are in the historical part of the city with many shops, restaurants and gelato places. We loved it here.

For a 4 star hotel the options for breakfast was very limited. What you see in the pictures is what is offered.

Very friendly staff. Nicely renovated. Possibility to have the breakfast on the terrace even though everyone else had theirs inside (temparatures were not that high)

Nothing was bad, but note that I first thought the shower looked bad. I later noticed that it probably comes from the very nice "tiles" that are from rock. Most probably, there's iron in there that makes for a rusty look after some time. Anyway, turns out the shower felt clean after some inspection. The other thing is that there is a sauna, but I guess you would need to ask for it to be warmed up ahead of time if you wished to use it. These are the two things that come to my mind, but we loved this place.

We booked a 'superior' room which was spacious, light, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast room was flooded with daylight and decorated in the hotel's signature tranquil and tasteful style. The breakfast offering was excellent. Location was perfect; just a few minutes from the centro storico and the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We would have liked another 'easy' chair in the room.

Large room and large bathroom, very large and comfortable bed. Staff friendly, efficient, welcoming. Umbrellas provided - and needed! Very good breakfast, good coffee, pleasant atmosphere. Hotel well located for those without a car - it is near to the train stations; direct trains to Milano, Lugano, Como, Malpensa . .

Lighting somewhat eccentric. An empty refrigerator would have been preferable to a stuffed minibar! Via Como itself is not especially easy to negotiate either with a car or on foot.

We received an excellent welcome from one of your staff member. Unfortunately I do not know her name, but she was there around 10 pm when we arrived on Thursday so please tell her she did an excellent job! She explained us thoroughly everything about the premises and gave us nice suggestions about what to do with our little girl around the area. Breakfast was very good and the outside location really nice. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel is wonderful in every single aspect! Spotless clean Beautiful and modern facilities Best shower EVER, and we travel a lot Best location in beautiful Varese: Three minutes walking to the train station in one direction, or, 3 minutes walking to the Old Town (pedestrian zone) in the other direction. It’s a family run hotel, with very friendly and polite people. Everyone is genuinely nice. They think in all small details, even two big and new umbrellas in the room (that luckily we didn’t need to use). Excellent breakfast with all kinds of coffee (expresso, cappuccino, etc). I could write ten pages about this wonderful property. It’s really a great place to stay!

The room was immaculate, clean, tidy and modern. All facilities worked correctly, access was simple, and the room was quiet and comfortable. Wonderful bed, firm, and gave an excellent nights sleep.

I have nothing at all to say in this part. I liked everything about the hotel. This is impossible to answer, and I am simply padding this out to give enough words to make the bat go green! Just about made it.

I choose this hotel for 2 nights because it is not far from Fiero Milano and Milano airports. At first I stopped at Lake Como, but all the good hotels did not work there and I decided to take a chance to stay in Varese. I immediately liked Hotel di Varese, because the territory of the hotel, the terraces and the parking have been completely renovated and a very clean. The hotel has its own secure parking and it is free of charges. The hotel is located almost in the center of the city, but in a very quiet place. The building of the hotel is after total reconstruction. The hotel has a new furniture and clean inside also. The rooms were also clean and warm: the hotel's heating system works perfectly. The staff is a very friendly and attentive. There was no kettle into the rooms, but I enjoyed drinking tea in the dining room, which was clean and comfortable. It is important for me that the furniture and building is new and there are no unpleasant odors. Breakfast is modest, but I really liked the new white tea set by Villeroy Boch.

In the rooms, it seemed to me there are the presence of an extraneous smell of any chemicals like as cat urine. I lived in different rooms: in large room №22 this smell came from the head of the bed, and in room №11 the same smell was in the shower. But in any case during my next trip to Fiero Milano I plan to stay in this hotel again.

Absolutely loved having breakfast in the garden! My request for a street-facing room was accommodated, but I would recommend instead a view of the garden/courtyard. The hotel is very conveniently located to the two train stations in Varese as well as Varese's downtown. From these stations there is direct access to Malpensa airport, Milan Cadorna, and other stations in Milan. It was a great stop!

I should have chosen a room with garden view! But this one is my fault. Everything else was great.
