Breakfast was very good and decent selection. Location was great! A stone's throw away from many busy areas of the city. The hotel is very regal and luxurious.

Getting to and from the hotel is a little challenging. We bit the bullet on the private water taxi to the airport which was the best 150 euro ever spent. My wife had some allergies from the room as everything is very old and may be a little musky.

The room was beautiful! Quiet, warm, comfortable, with a nice view. Friendly and polite staff.

A breakfast should be better for its price.

location was brilliant, very close to the Venice Opera House. the hotel was warm and clean. all the staff were very friendly and efficient. the housekeeping were excellent as were the Breakfast team! Very elegant decor in traditional Venetian style

we had booked a suite with a balcony and canal view which were perfect. I would however have expected a better shower and more accessible electric plugs in the room for recharging phones/ laptops etc at the price we paid. everything else was good

The building is historic and beautiful. My room was big, with pretty much everything I needed. There are two entrances - 1 on foot and 1 by boat. lovely faded grandeur.

Only one socket, nowhere near the bed. Surely everyone’s phone is their alarm & it needs to be charged overnight? Minor point, but the hairdryer is like something from the ‘60s! Breakfast overpriced.

We stayed here for two nights during our honeymoon trip to Venice, a very nice hotel with welcoming staff, perfectly located, just a few steps from main landmarks of Venice.

Cant say that there was something to dislike, however we discussed that during the breakfast it would be a really nice touch to offer little something from sea gifts that would be expected in a city that is built on water. And it doesnt mean that everything should be about fish, just something small to point out the importance of sea for this fantastic place.

Staff were fabulous, room was gorgeous and the location was brilliant. Would stay here again I'm a heartbeat.

The hair dryer in the bathroom needs to be updated. And there was no iron.

We chose the 'room assigned on arrival' option and it paid off as we were upgraded on arrival to a suite which was fantastic. A huge room overlooking one of the canals with a large bathroom, all very clean. Loved the sumptuous Venetian decor which was the vibe we were after. Great central location, not far from Piazza San Marco. If you have lots of baggage, for getting to the hotel from the main station would advise vaporetto line 2 (stops at far fewer stops than line 1) from Ferrovia to Rialto then walking the rest.

Duodo Palace is just perfect. The staff are amazing and so attentive. Especially manager Irene and Sabrina. The whole reception team were very helpful and answered all of our queries. They arranged for a water taxi to collect us from airport and to return, which was all organised perfectly. The rooms are comfortable, we had a classic double and I asked for a kettle as there wasn't initially one in the room, and it arrived promptly shortly after the request. Beds comfy and had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't have a room with a view however you can book other rooms that do have views. It was my husbands birthday so I asked for a bottle to be in the room on arrival and this was done, no trouble at all. We love Dodo Palace and have visited twice now with a third booking already made for 2024. Location is perfect, about ten minute walk from St Marks Square and 20 minutes from Rialto, lots of lovely little bars and restaurants very locally nearby. Perfect location - Thank you

Absolutely nothing, all great, no complaints.

The property was fantastically located and is incredibly nice! Customer Service was fantastic from all the receptionists but could have some work with some of the waiters for breakfast in the mornings!

Sadly the property is in a lot of need of some maintenance and investment. All baths in rooms have the ability for a hot tub function but the receptionist said this works in none of the rooms. In our room 607, we had the most incredible balcony and I could not have been happier but the curtains didn’t work nor one of the shutters. Around the property were also smaller pieces that needed upkeep!

The hotel is beautiful, lobby is so charming and gives a gorgeous Venetian feel, the room was much bigger and more beautiful than expected we loved the decor and the high ceilings. Staff was very friendly. The location was perfect.

The bed was super hard and uncomfortable. The toilet was difficult to flush and the shower was…odd, it was a tub with a hand held shower head and the placement stand on both walls were set so low for some reason and made it awkward to shower in, there was no curtain but a glass divider that only covers a small portion of the shower and the first time we turned on the shower it was facing the glass door and water just poured out flooding the floor. Have to be very careful showering to not get water on the floor. The blow dryer in the bathroom was also useless, looked more like a 1950 head to a vacuum hose and didn’t work well as a blow dryer so bring your own.
