Beautiful setting, great food and wine

In our 3 day stay the hotel 2 weddings which we’re using the much of the outside facilities. It was uncomfortable asking staff for drinks or accessing the pool area as it felt like we were disturbing the event.

The hotel and reception staff were great. The location and view over Verona are exceptional. Very nice rooms and very dog friendly.

The restaurant was a major issue. Whilst the food itself was very good, the organisation of the staff was poor. You should know that there is a problem when a quest gets up to leave and tells the next table "good luck in getting some food" and two other tables laugh as well. The wait was out of all proportion to how busy it was, there was absolutely no communication that there was an issue or wait. No attempt was made to check with guest, offer more drinks other than those ordered at the start (we gave up trying to find someone to get us another bottle of wine), and we also gave up after 20 minutes of asking for the bill and went to find someone to pay. Hope it was just a poor night, because it really did let the rest of the hotel down

Corte San mattia ia a beutiful agriturismo, just a 10 minutes ride of Verona. I arrived there for a vacation with my husband and our 2 years old baby and we all had a great time! The place is beutiful, the rooms and internal public spaces are well designed, causy and full of character. The view which is seen out of the rooms, the reataurant and the terrace is just amazing, letting you a glimpse of Verona's Lake Adige and its bridges and surrounded with the beutiful green fields of the countryside, as well as the agrituriamo's external spaces, which are all green and beutiful! Our baby enjoyed strolling around the farm, enjoying the cheeken coop and playing with Tati, the owners adorable dog. Last but not least, we enjoyed the tasty food served at breakfast as well as the dinner at the farm restaurant. Finnaly, the crew was nice and helpful and we would deeply recommand to stay at Corte San Mattia and would be much happy to visit there again in the future!

The staff were very helpful, even before we reached the property. I was sent over an itinerary of bus times and taxi services. When we reached the property we were welcomed by a lovely member of staff who explained everything to us, also gifted a complimentary drink at the pool bar on arrival. The room was beautiful, the patio doors opened out onto the most picturesque view, we were taken away by how amazing it was. The pool was perfect and not too busy, and the gardens with sun loungers were comfortable and had plenty for everyone. The terrace for food was decorated lovely with fairy lights and greenery, the food was super too and of course the WINE was excellent.

We could not get an extra night

This accommodation offers a beautiful setting perfect for unwinding and enjoying wine, with easy access to Verona. The serene surroundings truly stand out, and we loved the wine tasting experience. Getting back after the Opera was hassle-free with a taxi, making our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.

We both couldn't quite fathom why on a perfect night no tables were set up for outside dining. Yes, there had been a storm the day before but the evening we arrived was perfect. It did seem a strange that we were all stuck eating indoors. Apart from that it was fine.

This is a vineary with restaurant & hotel/appartment included. I reommend it and would visit myself again!! Breakfest was made with biological local produce and was very good & delicious. Coffee - nice cappuccino - could be ordered according taste. The breakfest terrace and pool are new & very nice! I loved our appartment overlooking Verona. A nearby restaurant & pizzeria was great. We could drive to Verona city in 10 min., and always find a parking spot.

Room was fantastic, gorgeous city view of Verona from our lovely walk out patio. Room and bathroom were spacious, very quiet at night. Staff was amazing, breakfast was great and dinner as well. The property is lovely and seems well managed. Bus stop for Verona is very close so you can leave your car if you don’t want to drive, very convenient.

Very disappointed the WiFi didn’t work in our room, it did in breakfast/dinning area only. Pillows we not comfy, hard.

The location overlooking Verona is superb, with a reliable 15 minute bus service to the centre of Verona. Dinner at the restaurant and breakfast were excellent and good value for money. We made the most of the infinity pool (had it to ourselves on both days) with excellent views. The hotel and restaurant staff were courteous and were eager to provide advice when asked.

Everything! The room.was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The restaurant food and wine was fantastic and the breakfast...well, it was up there with the best. So much choice.. fresh honey from the hive, bacon and eggs, cereal, cakes, bread, hams and cheese...all absolutely delicious. It was extremely dog friendly too which was a bonus for us travelling with our medium sized spaniel. The location was fantastic with amazing views over the valley. We will definitely be back and would recommend to families, couples, solo travellers, in fact everyone.

Beautiful scenery and large room. Staff were very helpful. Special thanks to Magdelena for my private wine tasting when there was a misunderstanding when booking. The pool was lovely with an incredible view and the bartender couldn't have been nicer. Delicious fresh fruit and good protein options for breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Not many complaints. I was in the Vignetta room, which was very spacious and comfortable. However, I wish there was a curtain over the bathroom window. I was afraid that someone would see me if they were to walk down the path while I showered. My number one complaint is that I didn't spend enough time relaxing at the resort, I went into Verona each day but I wish that I had spent at least one full day at the resort.
