Location was great. I really liked the room and beds were comfy. We slept well here.

Shower was a little slippery, would have to have had a mat inside. Couldn't get the heat to turn down, so opened a window.

Conveniently located with the bus stop to the train station just 1-2 min away. It is well served by the local buses. Lovely location by the River Adige. Walking distance to most all attractions. Our Deluxe Double Room with Balcony and River View was spacious and pretty. It had a good view of the river (see attached picture). The room was well appointed. Bed was comfortable. Toilet facilities were fine. Lift was available so only need to carry your bags about 4 steps up the porch to reach the lobby level. Lovely to have a common room to prepare food and eat if you don’t want to go out. Pay per use washer and dryer came in handy. The residence has a common use roof top terrace with a nice view of the city. Finally, the staff were very helpful and spoke good English. I would not hesitate to recommend the Lady Verona Residence and would definitely stay here again if in Verona. Tip: The Verona Pass recommended to us by the staff was good value and if you buy it early, it will cover your transport to and from the train station and further out places where you can get better value restaurants by avoiding the more touristy areas.

The sofa was rather soft and dated and would be nice if it is replaced.

Location is ideal - one block away from the city centre, with cafes and restaurants nearby. I didn't hear any noise from the street traffic below. The room was spacious and comfortable. There is a communal kitchen on each floor where you can make yourself a coffee/tea and access to a refrigerator. I decided to take a bus from the airport to the train station, and then another bus from the train station to Piazza Bra'. From there it was a 10 min walk, all flat. Very easily accessible.

The toilet seat was loose when I arrived, almost making me fall, but I mentioned it to the person at the reception desk in the morning, and it was fixed by the time I returned later on in the day. Elevator also broke down on the day I was leaving so had to carry my suitcase down 4 flights of stairs. Again, the staff were on top of it and a repair person was expected to come fix it. In a nutshell, things happen, which is inevitable, but the staff were very good about trying to fix the issues as quickly as possible.

Excellent location. One minute walk from the pedestrian shopping centre leading to the main tourist/cultural sites. Our room was comfortable. Bed large, with a firm but soft mattress which we like. Bathroom/shower room very clean and good size - some can be tiny. There were 2 kitchen rooms with tea and coffee making facilities. Check in was easy - we were a late check in so we had an access code to collect our room key card from the reception room.It all worked very well. There was a girl in reception for the day otherwise.

Nothing bad to report. The receptionist when we asked for help booking a taxi could have been clearer that you need to order an airport taxi a day in advance if you want to pre-book - perhaps she didn't know? We couldn't get through the evening before flying so forgot to retry over dinner. We then found out we couldn't pre-book on the day of departure. We found another taxi on google though so all was well.

We loved the location of the room. Right next to the bridge and walking distnace to most major locations around the city. The room was spacious, the bathroom was nicely refinished, great amenities, water pressure. The building itself was beautiful.

We pretty much liked everything in our room. I would have appreciate if I would have known that there was a communal washer/dryer in the kitchen alongside a fridge, some snacks etc. After experiencing so much rain, we would have really liked to have washed and dried our clothes before we took off. Not a big deal though, and definitely not a reason to not come back. The parking offered for the building ($25 euro) was within walking distance, and it allowed you to go and come as you pleased.

Lady Verona Residence is in an excellent location to visit old city Verona. Once you actually understand that it occupies several floors of a beautiful old office building, and is not a stand alone hotel, it becomes easier to navigate. The staff were positive and helpful. There is a lift to help with accessing the upper floors. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed and nice bathroom. It is easy walking access to all of Verona which is a wonderful city.

There was no sign on the front of the building stating that it was the Lady Verona Residence. You simply have to go by the address and use a number access pad to enter the building. Then go up to the second floor to the entry desk. I would not recommend this hotel to those that are driving a car. Lady Verona Residence does have access to some very secure underground parking spaces that are part of a public facility about a 15 minute walk away and across the river from the hotel. The staff provide you detailed directions to the parking, but I would say that the whole process is very complicated at best. The hotel is on a extremely busy street with no parking in front so dropping off and picking up your bags before you park is not easy.

I had a very spacious room, bathroom and balcony. Everything was clean and comfortable, and also quiet. The venue in Verona was superb. 3 minutes walk to the Arena and situated incredibly close to all major tourist sites - all walkable. The key point about this location is that it is a Residence, not a hotel. So, no food available, no real public areas. However, there are kitchen areas on each floor with free tea and coffee plus a microwave available with plates / cutlery. There is also a washing machine. The rooms are all situated on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor of a building right next to one of the main bridges in Verona. I often had to let myself in via the key code on the door, but that worked fine. Reception is manned during the day and when my flight was cancelled I was able to wait in a small seated area on the 4th floor with power point and full access to drinks. The residence is close to a taxi rank and a couple of cafes, where continental breakfast is available. I bought croissants and took them back to eat with my own hot drinks. The location is so close to all the tourist areas it's really easy to buy food and drink at a variety of prices. I thought it was good value for money.

Check out time was 10:30 which seems early to me. My morning flight was cancelled so I had a long time to kill.

I have sojourned in Verona quite a few times and nowhere have I enjoyed vistas as in this property. These quarters without doubt offer the best panorama in the whole city: San Pietro hill, the Lourdes Sanctuary, the Ponte Scaligero, Sant‘Anastasia church - almost all the main sights (those rising above a few dozen metres anyway) are on show from the rooftop terrace. Granted, the top floor rooms can get quite stuffy in the hot season, but it‘s all worth it for the spectacle of the cityscape of one of the most beautiful locales in Europe. Sig.ra Anna was also at pains to be as helpful as possible throughout my stay. A thoroughly enchanting experience.

As mentioned, the air can get stale in the upper floors (ie those offering immediate access to the rooftop terrace) in the summer, especially of course, if, like me, you turn off the aircon because you‘re sensitive to noise - such is the nature of attic rooms. It would be a fine thing indeed if one day mankind were to invent noise-free (and, ideally, energy-neutral) air conditioning, but until then one there‘s no better option than strategic ventilation by way of opening of windows. It would also be great if the windows were already pre-opened before check-in, but that seems to be against accommodation policy almost universally.

Everything was incredible! I went to Verona with my husband to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't have chosen a better place. The room was huge. The balcony was perfect for a couple to enjoy the view of Castel Vecchio and the river. That's why even the showers on our first day did not bother us. Everything was very clean and we were surprised, as we arrived early, that our room was ready by the time we got there. There is also a small kitchen before entering the bedroom hallway, which was very useful. It is the best location in Verona. All attractions and best restaurants are within walking distance. The staff were very welcoming. I will definitely stay there next time.
