CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS ESTATE. My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights and fell absolutely in love with the property. From the exceptional service to the amazing amenities to the breathtaking views, this place was everything and more. Would love to get married here or stay again with friends / family. The food was wonderful, the pools were insane, and the room was so luxurious.

Just wish there was music during cocktail hour and maybe a bar open after dinner if we wanted to hangout for a little longer. We did a wine tasting with 4 other couples on site and ended up hitting it off with them. We wanted to hangout and have another drink after dinner but nothing was open so we were forced to just go to our rooms. Only note, everything else was fabulous.

A Gem of Hospitality: From the moment we set foot into this exquisite property, it was clear that this was not just a hotel, but a haven of hospitality, seamlessly blending luxury with a warm, personalized touch. The soul of this remarkable establishment is Gigi, a presence so vibrant and attentive that his passion for the hotel and its guests transforms a simple stay into an unforgettable experience. Gigi, with an ever-present smile, seems to magically appear exactly when needed. He enjoys sharing stories and details about the hotel that reflect his pride and love for the place. His tours around the property are not just informative but are imbued with a sense of pride and joy that is truly infectious. It's this personal touch that elevates the experience, making guests feel not just welcomed but truly cherished. Johnny, the manager, embodying the essence of kindness and professionalism, ensures that every aspect of the stay is flawless. His meticulous attention to detail and genuine care for the guests’ experiences reflect a leadership style that prioritizes comfort and satisfaction above all. The staff, following in their footsteps, are exceptionally courteous and efficient, making every interaction a delight. The property itself is a marvel, with stunning architecture, tasteful décor, and breathtaking surroundings that promise both tranquility and a feast for the senses. The room has so much character and charm, offering not just comfort but an ambiance that whispers luxury comfort in every detail. Each corner of the property tells a story, a whisper from the past, meticulously preserved and proudly celebrated by Gigi and the team.

Exceptionally wonderful property with charm and surprises around every corner. Each staff member made the experience special and the property’s amenities and activities were each delightful and thoughtfully put together. We wound up barely leaving the property during our stay because there was so much to do. I would add that you probably get a more bespoke and personal experience than here than any larger 5* property.

The formal restaurant is the only aspect of the property that feels out of step design-wise (and could use an update). While the food is exceptional throughout - this is an element that could really shine more.

Location was exactly what we wanted - glorious isolation in 800 acres of estate grounds with stunning views across the Tuscan countryside. Breakfast was an excellent buffet with fresh eggs cooked to order. Most food is grown or reared on site, including their own excellent wine and olive oil, so freshness is guaranteed. The property was a lovely, historic but very well maintained Manor House with converted stables and out buildings supported by friendly, attentive staff.

Minor things really. A few more sun loungers by the main infinity pool would have been good. Same with the seating on the main lawn and at breakfast - at busy times the hotel could do with a few more lawn chairs plus shaded areas for breakfast outside. Some sections of the wonderful biking/hiking trails were so overgrown as to be impassable.

All the Staff where incredible friendly and helpful . Anything one wanted one got . Specially Gigi was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home right from the start . He explained us all about the history of the incredible building and gave us a tour of the property. The food was phenomenal and the breakfast a delight! At last but not least the stunning views!! OMG Many thanks to all ! Andrea

Everything, the Pool is very special and so is especially the old part of the building from the 12th century.

Authentic charm with luxury service. Great staff who went out of their way to acknowledge you in a genuine way. And the unforgettable GiGi for his unique style, and knowledge he shared about BP. Breakfast with that view is hard to beat. The whole land to table ethos with little wastage and an important focus on sustainability and preserving the land and estate for the future.

Having to leave and say goodbye! The only feedback was to make better use of the court yard which is seldom used other than for welcoming guests. A missed opportunity as not everyone wants to sit on the grass area after dark. A few biscotti wouldn’t have gone amiss at the coffee and tea station either. The sun beds by the pool were extremely low.

A haven of peace and tranquility. If you are hoping to remove stress and look at magnificent Tuscan scenery, this is the place. It was a bit of surprise not to have a TV in the room, but after spending some time in the hotel and understanding the vibe better, we didn't miss it. Actually they had put a BOSE speaker in the room which on reflection was better as we played just relaxing music and really felt we escaped from the busy world for a few days. Thanks to Gigi for a great welcome and we hope to be back. We really enjoyed the outside bar in the evening, fantastic.

A shame we didn't know the main restaurant was closed on a Thursday before we arrived, as we only had a few days and planned to eat there on our last day - so perhaps a reason to return. Limited beds around the main pool, perhaps better use of the adjacent grass area could be made?

Everything was simply sublime. I worked with the hotel staff to prepare a proposal for my now fiancé and everything went off without a hitch. Gigi,Riccardo, and every single member of the staff did such an amazing job in preparation and making our stay there welcome. We’re already planning our return trip to see what feels like close friends again.

Nothing could’ve been better. The property and the experience was amazing.

The location was breathtaking. The grounds are beautiful with plenty of area to explore. The buildings are so historic and exactly what you want in a Tuscan getaway. The on site activities are a joy and the food and drinks are lovely. The staff is wonderful.

I could not figure out how to get the AC in the room to work. Thankfully, it was the spring and the AC was not needed. We opened the windows. I wish we had one extra day to explore. One extra note: some people pre-hired cars to get them there. We ended up deciding to rent a car from Florence. There are no available taxis. Pre-plan the car hire or plan to rent a car. Bonus: renting a car and driving in the Tuscan hills is a blast. Plus you can explore the near-by towns.

This place was incredible and beyond amazing I loved everything about it, the staff are amazing and helpful specially their sweet manager I will definitely come back to this place

There is nothing not to like about this place but I would inform that you’ll need a car to get to this place if not you’ll have to get a private taxi and it might be pricy 280€ from Florence on each way if that’s fine with you do not hesitate to go because it’s extremely worth it
