The location was great. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, waffles, bagels, etc. I almost didn't book this motel because of some of the negative reviews; however, we enjoyed our stay. We were happy that we booked this LaQuinta.

The floor was a little slippery. It seemed that a cleaning agent was used on the floors. I would recommend that the cleaning agent should be cleaned off the floor after it is used. I thought the $25.00 for the dog was a little pricey. Most places that we have stayed at either don't charge for our dog or charge around $15.00. I typically pay $32.00 for boarding our dog for a full 24 hours at a kennel so $25 overnight for a dog is a bit pricey.

The location is perfect. The lady at the reception was super friendly and welcoming us as a family of three with a dog. She absolutely made us feel comfortable. The hotel is a little outdated, but our room had a lot of space for us to just have a good night rest to head out the next morning. King beds were very comfortable.

The room was freezing when we came in. The ac was turned down to 54. Once we had the heater started, it was comfortable and cozy. Breakfast is starting at 7. Thankfully, the night shift was working on it before that, and we were able to head out at 7.

The room was spacious - the HVAC worked well. The room was clean. The shower worked well. I was given a first floor room which helped me with my pet.

The bathroom sink had pathetic water pressure. The 'tables' in the room itself were pretty much useless. The trains at 1:30AM were annoying - so bad location for a hotel. The exterior grounds were horrible. Abandoned cars in the parking lot, trash all over the place, discarded food that I had to be careful that my dog didn't eat it. There's a truck and camper parked behind the hotel that looks pretty suspect. The food pantry was pathetic the lack of offerings was the worst I have seen at a hotel. I seriously was worried that my dog would find drugs outside on the grounds.

I had a single room king size bed bed was extremely large, good size decent room also had a pull out sofa, which I didn’t use best part the location to Kings Dominion walking distance, possibly about a half a mile

I had two rooms second room was two king beds. One bed had a big dip in the middle very bad.

Front Desk Manager--Dipesh--found an error that I was aware of when booking via Booking.com. He told me the steps to take and he and Booking.com were able to fix it immediately. The complimentary breakfast was very good.

Floor tiles in my bathroom need to be replaced. Bathroom sink has a leak. (Note: I did not report either issue.)

The room was spacious and clean and it was cost effective

I requested a handicap accessible room and didn't receive that. In addition, the young man that was at the front desk told me it was without even checking. He also told us we were assigned to room #316 which is where we went to discover it was already occupied. Our room was actually #312, he didn't even attempt to try to notify us of his mistake or apology for it

Always try to go to these hotels if going to be in the area we are traveling because always have a good experience and never any issues with bedrooms or staff is always very nice and helpful at all the locations we have stayed at.

We didn’t get to go in the pool because it didn’t look very clean so we didn’t want to swim in it. But otherwise everything else was very good with our stay at the hotel. And very close to the park we could walk to the park and not have to pay extra for parking which was great.

It was close to where I wanted to go hotel people workers were good Holly, the kitchen girl was fabulous she replenished everything as soon as it was finished

Well, I had rented two rooms two king size beds one had a big dip in the middle

It was a great stay. Very great for travelling with pets. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious and large compared to standard hotel rooms.

The bed was a bit hard for me but this is more of a personal preference. Good enough to get a good night's sleep!

I loved La Quinta. It was very clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Rooms were spacious. Staff was excellent. And the location is great. This hotel is right across the street from Kings Dominion. I will definitely be going back!
