It is a nice hotel with a great courtyard area with a pool and a jacuzzi! The surroundings were very nice and we even saw cows and deer. The rooms are spacious with large comfy beds and a sliding door that leads out to a grassy courtyard. We even did a few loads of laudry, but make sure to bring quarters. It felt like we could relax and enjoy our vacation. This is the the best hotel in Novato for the price for sure!

The breakfast was simple, but I wish there was more variety. Also, they didn't have many extra towels to use for the pool area. I don't have any other complaints.

Price for the room was excellent. Great location for visiting Point Reyes National Seashore and Muir Woods. Seemed like a safe, secure area. Close to San Fran but feels far away because it's located in a beautiful rural area with green hills and little traffic.

The rooms seem a little dated but for the price it's such a great value that I didn't care. Such a great value considering how close it is to SF. There wasn't much for breakfast and they were out of things like milk for the cereal, they had bread but no butter and had no oj. They said they were going to get a shipment in on Monday, two days after our stay. Again, it was fine considering the price and most hotel breakfasts are not good anyways. We found a cute local cafe to eat at so it worked out great.

The staff was helpful and friendly. The only complaint I have was that I wish our room had central A/C. The existing wall mounted a/c worked better as the night progressed(it was a hot weekend so the a/c was struggling). Other than that everything was great! We stayed in the larger one story room that had the jacuzzi tub so it was in the back bottom level. The room was very spacious & had a large restroom with a tub. The jacuzzi tub was in the living space separate from the bathroom and bed area. The Jets on the tub worked very well & the hot water didn't run out. The wall mounted tv was able to extend out so we could lay in bed and watch movies. The back sliding door opened facing the swimming pool which was lovely as we had a breeze coming through the screen door in the evening. The sliding curtains were a heavy material so during the day we were able to dim the room lighting to a comfortable tone. The refrigerator kept our drinks cold & the microwave heated up our food fast! I give this place a thumbs up & will definitely stay here again in the future.

The man who was working at the counter was an absolutely horrible person. From the moment I walked in…I asked how his day was going with his reply “I was fine till you walked in”he berated and insulted me to no end because I was going to ask about a possible early check in. He did not let me talk and continued to insult me about how I have a sense of entitlement and that I was lucky the room was actually ready. We drove from 5 hours away straight and needed to freshen up before our event- I had called the day before to see if we could stop in early to check. Finally when I was able to talk, I told him for the sake of all the other customers I hope he changes his attitude and he said “Nope, it’ll change when I leave here”. Appalling and I suggest you replace the dude.

We had a second floor queen room with balcony. The room was good sized and recently updated. While the hotel is close to the freeway, the rooms face the opposite direction, so you have little highway noise and a nice view of hills and oak trees.

The included breakfast consisted of weak coffee and packaged sugary snacks - Twinkies, chocolate cupcakes, madeleines, etc. The only remotely healthy items were the apples and granola bars.

Quiet, pretty nice place. The breakfast is not the greatest, but at least it's something. The pool is great! Hot tub is nice, when it's on . I love it!

the breakfast choices were really not healthy. Hostess cupcakes, twinkie type etc. there were tiny apples and granola bars but it was probably the worst i have ever seen. no eggs, oatmeal, yogurt etc. i understand the breakfast is limited due to COVID but there should have been more healthy choices

Location was everything, we spent one day in Novato and another in San Francisco. Laying out by the pool was great and we liked that the room had a sliding glass door right off the pool.

The toilet wasn't cleaned all the way, there was still urine around the base of the toilet near the floor. Also, some of the lounge chairs at the pool were broken which made laying out a little difficult.

nice,clean pool. There’s no building behind the property with view of the hills from the pool. I came in early, like 12:30 noonish as I was very tired and luckily my room was ready and the front desk lady let me check in. Was grateful to her.

the fridge was unplugged. I use fridges. I understand saving energy but would have liked an already cold one. my toilet didn’t flush, at first, then was ok. I told the front desk to have someone check out the pull chain in the tank

It was clean and presentable.

It’s breakfast was below average compared to other places I’ve stayed for work.
